What a great local gem. I’m excited to try other items on their menu as well. The owner/manager stopped by our table and was very friendly. He said he grows his own herbs right outside - you don’t get fresher than that! Great job to all - my experience was exceptional. Keep it up!”

They were just as good as the pork belly buns that were our favorite dish at an LA Asian restaurant that closed during the pandemic. Service at The Coffin was prompt and cordial, and the decor was a kick. Highly recommend.”

Highly recommend the apples and cinnamon as a side! The staff is helpful and attentive from the host all the way to the waitress and managers. I've never been to a restaurant where the service is so great! We will definitely be a return customer 😊 Side note: The restaurant is extremely kid friendly and accommodating. They have high chairs and tables with enough room to fit the high chair or a stroller while still having enough room for everyone else.”

They were fantastic. BUT the chicken corn chowder was even better. In fact: the best I have ever had, and we live in Lancaster County. The food and drinks are amazing, and to top it off, I also found out that Bert’s and my family are from the same neighboring town on an island. I still give 4 stars because of past experiences.”

“Me and my mother dined in here on 7/26/25. The staff were absolutely phenomenal. Colson in particular was just wonderful. He was upbeat, confident and incredibly willing to serve. When I asked for some extra ranch, he gave me as many as he could carry. All of the staff had smiles on their faces, and were clearly making the food with love. The restaurant itself was sparkling clean, and we got our food in under a minute. What a treat to come in here, on a Saturday at 12pm too, no less! We will ABSOLUTELY come again, fantastic job!!”

It is located to the right of the convenience store at the Sunoco station which is also next to the Freeze And Frizz ice cream parlor. The food is excellent and served quickly. The price is very reasonable compared to the high cost of eating out now. I had the pancake breakfast. My pancake was the size of a hubcap.

The crab dip was big and cheesy with warm, soft pitas for dipping, or shall I say, scooping. Could have used a few more since the dip was big, but they do offer extra for a small fee. Main courses were plentiful. I tried the chicken souvlaki which came open-faced with 2 full skewers of perfectly grilled chicken kabobs. The poor pita they rested on got a little soggy, but I pushed through and ate it open- faced and cut into pieces 😉. The Parmesan crusted salmon was thick and cooked perfectly served with creamy Parmesan sauce and the Cuban panini, huge! Wonderful meal, didn't try the bar, but it looked good, too.”

I had a client in need of seat, and an outlet for his portable O2 in a standing room only Butter & Bean. So, one of the staff hears my plea for help and Jessie, the owner comes out. She makes arrangements for not only a seat near an outlet but grabs an extension cord to allow for some movement. The patrons in the entire cafe made way for Jessie and my client. I ask if we can just chill for an hour or so, till he gets charged up and she wouldn't hear of it. "Stay as long as you need to", she said. So, I bought my client a coffee and a sandwich, which was amazing, bought some coffees for those that made space for him, and invited the entire bus group to join us and support Butter and Bean. And we sure did. The food and coffee were great, but the spirit, the vibe and the whole experience I needed to share. Oh, did I mention it was Black Saturday, November 25, 2023, at 1230p!!! Who does that??? Well, Butter and Bean does! So, get great coffee and really good eats, and support a business that we will proudly support in every way.”

Someone steered us to The Coffin, and we had an excellent time. The food was delicious, and we were particularly delighted with the bao buns. They were just as good as the pork belly buns that were our favorite dish at an LA Asian restaurant that closed during the pandemic. Service at The Coffin was prompt and cordial, and the decor was a kick. Highly recommend.”
