The ice cream flavors are plentiful to choose from and excellent regarding temperature and taste. The sundaes and cones are always very good for the folks liking the normal portion sizes. For the professional ice cream connoisseur, you really should try the large banana split. You can have them swap the usual vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry flavors for any flavor of the day listed. Check out the picture of this bad boy. Takes me back to the tasty freezes of a bye gone era. Also, the fact that they are open year round is a huge bonus as many of us enjoy ice cream in the colder months.“

“This place is really interesting. The seating in the greenhouse is very unique & I love it. It took quite a bit of restraint in my part, not to buy anything after we had eaten. They have some really fun inventory within the greenhouse. I only had coffee & toast w/jam but it was all delicious. I gotta support local and they do get their beans roasted locally ...sadly they are from Nicholas where everything tastes either like hazelnut or burnt Panera coffee. “Went for the first time tonight. Service was fast and friendly.Del's serves Perry's Ice Cream, which I grew up eating in Erie, PA. It is awesome ice cream and harder to find in Pittsburgh. On top of that there are many "ice cream parlor only" flavors that you can't buy in the grocery store anywhere.Husband got 3 scoops, and I got the ice cream nachos. Ice cream nachos come with 2 scoops, waffle cone "nachos" and 2 toppings. Both of the things we got seemed like a great deal. As a major ice cream - especially cookie dough - fan I can't recommend this place enough. I would absolutely drive out of my way to come here again vs. Dairy Queen and other independent places.“

“Such a great place to deliver freight! Very friendly people that care for what they do. I called hours in advance before my arrival and asked if I could park there overnight until my appointment the next morning. No problem at all. They even have a driver's lounge that is open 24 hours with a restroom and vending machines. If you need to park there, call ahead and make sure it is okay first. I'm sure they will allow it unless their yard is full.“

“This is by far my favorite ice creamery around. They are a tad more expensive but so so so worth it. Even when uber delivered for them they pack the ice cream with such care making sure in case the driver has other stops your ice cream does not melt they put ice bags with it. They've never got a single order wrong, I've tried almost all the ice creams and all are really good I see the quality. So even if a bit higher in price you won't lose my business“

“Very busy in the summer but chill in the winter. They are pretty quick if you order something simple--it's pretty much all teens that work there. The ice cream is good and there is a lot of flavor choices. The parking lot is big but can get crowded at peak times in summer. It's the closest ice cream to my house so the location is convenient. I am more of a custard person myself, but I think that they're vanilla is really good. I also love their twist cones! However, this new churro ice cream is definitely a crowd pleaser I thought it taste a lot like a churro! Oh, I do love their cheesecake flurry too. I feel like it gives you plenty of cheesecake!“
