“Unbelievable! You must try it!!”

“This is my go to for southern food & deserts inside the Shillington farmers market. I've gone back several times to try different food items & loved everything I had! Overall I've tried the mac & cheese, white rice, lemon pepper & jerk chicken, collard greens, sweet potatoes, cabbage, mango cobbler, soul roll & lemon cake were all delicious! Food did not make it past the car let alone into my camera lol. Sampled the curry chicken aswell & it was so flavorful, tender with just the right amount of spice. Only thing I wasn't a fan of was the German choc cake everything else EXCELLENT!”

“Absolutely amazing! The owner is so kind and personable. Me and my boyfriend went there for the first time and enjoyed everything we got. The fries were crispy and well seasoned. The paneer and chicken roll was delicious and flavorful! We tried an assortment of drinks that were all comforting for the cold weather. We will be back for sure! Highly recommend!”

“An extremely tasty meal at a really affordable price. In case you’re not a fan of burgers, they also have chicken sandwiches, too! Me and my boyfriend stop by here at least twice a week. The owner could charge more but chooses to provide people with an affordable meal instead. Support small businesses and pick this place over McDonalds or Chik-fil-a — it’s cheaper and tastier ☺️”

“We sat downstairs in the dining area. Upstairs is full bar and tables. Hannah was our server, very attentive and friendly. Patty melt w/waffle fries , lb of peel and eat shrimp w/ side salad and tater tots. Everything was delicious. Good beer prices. Nice place! Casual.( boyfriend said shrimp needed a bit more old bay seasoning)”

“Crooked Hen has been our go to for breakfast since they’ve opened. We have never had bad service or a bad meal. Tonight was their soft opening for their dinner menu, and when i say it was delicious, i mean it. The inside is beautifully designed and their food is always immaculate. Highly recommend!!”

“Had the best time last night with a party of 8. All appetizers and dinners were delicious. I cannot stop thinking about the homemade tomato Gorgonzola vinaigrette. I almost licked my plate. You cannot beat this homemade food. We will be eating here regularly and will tell all of our friends!”

“It has been a long time since I felt the need to leave a food review. Especially for a strip mall Chinese spot. I am in the area for an event and decided to grab a quick easy lunch at No. 1 Chinese Restaurant. I ordered the Kung Pao Chicken Lunch Special. It was delicious! The taste was well above its strip mall setting. I also got a side of their hot chili oil and together with the Kung pao flavors it made me literally lick my bowl clean. Yeah, I did that. I would highly recommend this location and if I am ever back in the area, I will surely make another visit. I would love to try more of their options.

Wheelchair accessibility: Easy to access at sidewalk level. Inside is small but everything is well spaced.”

“Have been stopping here on Saturdays for breakfast before work. Have only been disappointed with the eggs Benedict. Eggs were fried hard, but other than that I'm very satisfied.”

“We were just there for lunch, and as soon as we placed our oder, about 50 teachers from the area came for lunch. The staff did AMAZING producing food fast and delicious! Super impressed!

“I love this shop. The staff is always nice!! Today they messed up my order though but was so pleasant about fixing it. They messed it up again but I just went on my way. I always get the exact same thing for happy hour, mocha iced latte, light ice with whipped cream. But today just want my day😢 Neither of these are right and they are not tasty at all. Better luck tomorrow.?!”

“Literally amazing every single time. We live in kenhorst and always drive a few extra minutes or pay for delivery from jade garden because it is on POINT. The chicken, lo mein, and rice are always perfect. They usually toss in a free rice which is greatly appreciated. And don’t EVEN get me started in their crab Rangoon…. Absolute perfection. I was so shocked to see the reviews because we’ve been ordering from here for years and anytime we’ve gone elsewhere we’ve had issues!!! But NEVER a single issue here. The pricing is good, the food is better. If you’re craving Chinese RUN, don’t walk ?‍♀️”

“We had a great experience here! Excellent customer service, they were busy and right in the beginning they told us it might be a bit slower of service which was great communication and it really wasn’t slow in my mind. The owner was friendly and greeted everyone like family. Actually everyone felt like family in there- the atmosphere was amazing. Families, couples, older people, kids, everyone was there and it was nice! We had delicious food- chicken parm, a chicken lasagna with vodka sauce that was delicious and a delicious bowl of butternut squash soup! Bread was good too! We came here because we had a coupon but now we will be back more often! Thanks for providing excellent service and great food 👏🫶🏻”

“We had a great brunch on Saturday. We were treated warmly, food was very good and our 3 year old was very happy with his food options. We will definitely be coming back for brunch.

Kid-friendliness: Our 3 year old is very rambunctious. He was surprisingly well behaved here, he loved our server and everyone was very nice to him. He had many options to choose from, and was happy they had his favorites, tomatoes and cucumbers.”

Cozy atmosphere, excellent service. The dishes are presented well. Generous servings. Everyone works together, so it's never hard to get the attention of a server.

This is my favorite restaurant. I recommend trying the Cobb salad.”
