“This place is awesome! Their food is way better in quality/taste, quantity, and price over Lilly's / Gugu in Kennett Square. They have a HUGE sushi selection! Their restaurant is small comparatively but very nice with several hibachi tables for groups. The staff is super courteous. The ONLY reason service isn't a 5 star is because they are generally short staffed, which isn't entirely their fault, but can cause delays on to-go orders.Vegetarian options: Let them know what you want and they'll make itDietary restrictions: Let them know your restrictions and they will accommodate“

“This has become one of my favorite restaurants. Me and my gf come here all the time when we are in Delaware. Food is fantastic. Prices are very fair. The service here is also very friendly and they do a good job. Highly recommend this place to anyone if you're a fan of Ramen or Asian food in general .“

“The best Thai in the area. Food is more authentic than other spots around. The green curry was delicious! Mild was still spicy, but not unbearably so. I have celiac and had no issues with my meal. “Red chicken Curry, green chicken Curry, fried pork goyza( dumplings) and prince charming sushi roll. all excellent even for 15 minute takeout drive. we really enjoy this place. I have tried many warm sushi rolls and enjoyed every one. service is great too.“

“*update We finished the meal at home when we could scrutinize it in an unbiased local. Wife had sick stomach from her beef bowl and after opening the take home container was opened, there was indeed something not right about it. Rice smelled funny too. Maybe the egg that was placed on the dish was bad? The good folks at Chiwa suggested Kakure and we accepted the challenge. Since we had some business in Newark, we checked them up last night.Now, usually we get the same things as a bassline that compares one meal to one from another place. That would be me. The wife just enjoys the food. Once again the decorations were fantastic, with all of the Demon Slayer figures to the random TVs with random anime on. Bathroom is gender neutral but contains wanted posters if you're hunting down the Straw Hats.Its can be a bit claustrophobic and when we walked in the place was packed. We got the last table in the place. As far as the help went there was this lone server covering the whole restaurant. We did get our dinner in a timely manner and still warm. I got the teriyaki and the wife got the seared pork butt bowl. We did try to order a few things too but those were items that run out? Run out of tea?All in all, the meal was pretty good. Not perfect but this might be a good place to go to find out if a new romantic interest is as into anime as well. Might even want to share the larger bento box since it's meant for sharing. Definitely want to share a bite or two of the Mont Blanc, which I've never had. They're charging the same prices that their sister restaurant charges, and it's a pick your poison as to whether you want to deal with Newark or the mall, but you're choice. They both serve food that the other doesn't have on the menu.“

“My family held a private gathering in the back room of Lily on Sunday, October 29, 2023. The entire restaurant knocked our event out of the park. The food was fanastic - appetizers and entrèes - and our guests are still telling us how delicious everything was. Our waitress, Nicole, and our waiter were superb. They handled all the details and were one step ahead on everything. We are so grateful for all that everyone at Lily did to make our party so special. I highly recommend reserving the back room for your next gathering or event. They definitely know what they're doing!!“

“We come here at least once a month. Really great Malaysian food, pretty authentic. Highly recommend any of the stir fried rice noodle dishes, and the Hainanese chicken is ::chef kiss::The sushi here is also pretty good, but honestly I never get them anymore since the Malaysian food is much harder to find.“

“It was nice to have dinner inside a restaurant. You could see the care of clean up, the guests were spaced nicely. Our meals were fresh, full of flavor, and enough for a lunch the following day. Our server Pat was her ever charming self and mixes a great basil lemon cocktail.“

“Amazing wonton soup and spare ribs!! As a child I enjoyed these two things and since the restaurant I adored closed down years ago, I have not been able to find anything that resembled the way they tasted, it’s difficult to find a substitute for a favorite. “The service was great and the overall atmosphere was nice. The food portion was bigger and more generous than other ramen places. The broth was good but a little salty. The meat in it was pan-fried, so it was tough and too dry for ramen. You get the whole egg in the soup, instead of only half the egg xD.“
