“The best Thai in the area. Food is more authentic than other spots around. The green curry was delicious! Mild was still spicy, but not unbearably so. I have celiac and had no issues with my meal. I would happily eat here againDietary restrictions: Gluten free/celiac and vegetarian options were plentiful“

“My 8 year old and I have been into gabes a few times and love everything we have gotten. this past Sunday, while working at Spring House spirits, we ordered the vegetable and Italian Stromboli. Both were out of this world! the vegetable was my favorite. At the end of the night, there was only a small piece left over and everyone raved how good it was. and the staff and owners are always so welcoming and kind!“

“Incredible service, food, friendliness, and they really take care of the little details.Example: started out with chips/salsa/queso and a mango martini. The bartender waited until I had a few drinks and then filled it back up.The little things matter.“

“*update We finished the meal at home when we could scrutinize it in an unbiased local. Wife had sick stomach from her beef bowl and after opening the take home container was opened, there was indeed something not right about it. Rice smelled funny too. Maybe the egg that was placed on the dish was bad? I was ok for once and it seems that mine is generally made of rice paper too.*Apologies for finishing this review when we finished the food, but it was excellent. The wife and I really enjoy our time with this restaurant sister's restaurant, Chiwa Bistro. The good folks at Chiwa suggested Kakure and we accepted the challenge. Since we had some business in Newark, we checked them up last night. Now, usually we get the same things as a bassline that compares one meal to one from another place. That would be me. The wife just enjoys the food. Once again the decorations were fantastic, with all of the Demon Slayer figures to the random TVs with random anime on. Bathroom is gender neutral but contains wanted posters if you're hunting down the Straw Hats. Its can be a bit claustrophobic and when we walked in the place was packed. We got the last table in the place. As far as the help went there was this lone server covering the whole restaurant. We did get our dinner in a timely manner and still warm. I got the teriyaki and the wife got the seared pork butt bowl. We did try to order a few things too but those were items that run out? Run out of tea?All in all, the meal was pretty good. Not perfect but this might be a good place to go to find out if a new romantic interest is as into anime as well. Might even want to share the larger bento box since it's meant for sharing. Definitely want to share a bite or two of the Mont Blanc, which I've never had. They're charging the same prices that their sister restaurant charges, and it's a pick your poison as to whether you want to deal with Newark or the mall, but you're choice. They both serve food that the other doesn't have on the menu.“

“Nice atmosphere in between the Harley Davidson drivers craving attention like loud teenagers on State Street. Portions are meager and you’d think pasta wasn’t a dollar per pound. I figured I’d play it safe and order the most expensive seafood/pasta entree on the menu, but it was mediocre. Should have ordered the chicken parm. You know something is wrong when you’re given a roll and pungent humus in an “Italian” restaurant. Then you have to ask for salt and pepper, then ask for butter, and ask and ask and ask and some of the servers act like they’re doing you a favor. There’s little value here.“

“Tonight my family and I came in. Our server was a warm, friendly beautiful lady named Ryleigh. She was amazing. Great service, she was attentive and helpful. The food was great. Fresh. Nice flavors. Good portions. Well worth the money spent. The crab potatoe skins was good. Cesar salad was good. Entrees we got the surf and Turf. Amazing. And the short rib. Also amazing.“

“Really good food BUT,,, it was 4pm, place was empty, 2 tables including us, were not able to get a booth - staff said reserved, but restaurant empty during our entire meal. They were quite adamant about this, which all of us found to be quite rude and insulting no matter how good the food. I am jus' sayin.“

“Theirs is a very authentic Chinese barbecue restaurant. I have never had a particularly authentic Chinese barbecue in Delaware. Many employees of the company like their food very much. The waiters in the restaurant take every customer very seriously and do not force Recommend the food, the restaurant is a particularly good restaurant worth experiencing.“

“Easter Buffet was extra special with a variety of entrees. The menu included a wide variety of seafood, ham, roast beef along with vegetables, rolls, and some great desserts. We will be visiting the restaurant again for my husband's birthday. He loved the food so much he selected it for a family celebration. Take some time to dine at Wesley's Restaurant, you won't be disappointed.“

“First time trying. We will be back. It is apparent they are using good ingredients. Ceasar salad with chicken was very good. They make the dressing in house. The pizza was very great. Good crust, good sauce, good cheese. We will be back. I want to try the meatballs next and the mussels.“

“Sushi rolls were great, even though it was on the high price, but they were surprisingly tasty, if only the interior can be made brighter then it'll be great and also very hard to see from the street what the inside of the restaurant. But overall enjoyed the sushi rolls : black dragon roll, spiderman roll, halloween roll & newark roll altogether.“

“We've been eating here for many years. Food is always GREAT, service is usually OK but many times BAD. Don't know why they can't get their act together but we'll continue to go to this "not so well known or popular place" for as long as they are in business. The food is very authentic. My favorite is the molcajete.“
“Haven't been there in decades!! Came for the car show and wound up going in for a meal. Service seems a little slow on the restaurant side, more likely to only having 1 server. However......had a crabcake sandwich which was incredible! Didn't notice any filler,, just pure crab meat. Except for going farther down along the Chesapeake, hard pressed to find a better one. Made up for the wait. French fries were nice and crisp. So yes, crabcakes and seafood in general are not cheap, expect to spend a little more than a burger.“

“Been going to Valle's since 1983, when Frank Sr. was always in house and just take out. The food has always been some of the best Italian around; subs, steaks and meatball sandwiches just great. Pizza was equally high quality. Now a full blown restaurant, bordering fine dining, but the food is just that, Fine Dining Italian style. Pasta dishes never disappoint, and the crab cakes are nothing but delicious backfin! As you can easily see, we remain Valle's fans even after 41 years, another testament to the quality food to have lasted and grown this long...“

“We found this place on accident while trying to find something open on Easter while working out of town. They were really busy, so we figured it would be good. We had steak fajitas, shrimp fajitas, and shrimp cocktail. Everything was really good. The salsa that was with the chips was different. It wasn't ceviche, but green and good. The margaritas were good and strong. We'd visit again.“

“I really love the Penn Brew Station because it gives off a hometown vibe whenever I go in there. The food is always incredible; I wholeheartedly would have to recommend their cheese steak. It is simply the best around. The service by the people behind the counter make me think of the friendliness and closeness of the people I knew in high school.Parking: The Penn Brew station rocks!“
