“This is the best Chinese restaurant in Kennett. Maybe even further. Called in $80 of food. Ready and blazing hot in exactly 10 minutes. Order100% correct. The staff are all top notch as well. Laser beam accuracy. The only place we will order from and will be doing often!“

“It was nice to have dinner inside a restaurant. You could see the care of clean up, the guests were spaced nicely. Our meals were fresh, full of flavor, and enough for a lunch the following day. Our server Pat was her ever charming self and mixes a great basil lemon cocktail.“

“We love to pick up happy hour sushi from 2-4:30. The crunchy roll is our absolute favorite sushi roll. The incredible roll is pretty much a hairy Mexican, another staple for us. We also always get the gyoza-basically the fried dumpling version of a chicken nugget.“

“Very nice owner. Has a loyal clientele, as I've often overheard her greeting customers by name. :-) Their eggplant in garlic sauce and sesame tofu are my go-to's (I don't eat meat). Their sesame tofu has a nice crispy-not-too-soft texture, which I love. They always ask if you want sauces and chopsticks, which I really appreciate (as I don't like to avoid wasted packets and single use plastic). Take out only. The plaza that it's in can only be entered & exited on the Wilmington-bound side of Kirkwood hway.“

“I had no complaints, not the best I've ever had but it's not bad if you're looking for quick, friendly service in the area. Plus there's not a whole lot of Chinese places close by compared to where I live so when I worked in Avondale I got lunch here often.“

“My husband and I recently drove into Newark for a weekday lunch with another eatery in mind but it was closed for the holidays, so we ended up at Chef Tan because my husband has been wanting to try it for a while! We were the only table in the restaurant and I saw two take orders go out throughout the time we sat. So, the service was good! I don't remember much about the inside but it was clean and pretty wide open in the dining room. And we were sat in the center. We both enjoyed that there was a photo on the menu of every dish. That makes it very easy to order. We did a scallion pancake and order of wontons with chili oil for appetizers and we really enjoyed both of those. And for our main course, we shared house fried rice and cilantro beef. Again, we really enjoyed both of these. I LOVE fried rice without soy sauce. I worked at a Chinese restaurant for years and the family I worked for always made their fried rice this way for themselves. I learned to prefer it this way as well, and my husband now does also so it made us both really happy to see that on the menu here! The cilantro beef was spicy but SO GOOD. Of course, you have to like cilantro to enjoy this dish - I know many people don't. I would imagine the beef with scallion is a similar, oniony, alternative. We shared a pot of hot tea as well, which was good, as expected. The only down side was that they add a service charge onto the check. And I never know if that's meant to be a gratuity or not. But it does alter how I tip, I will be honest. I hate that places do this. Please just charge more for the menu items!“
“Don't judge a book by its cover, this applies to this restaurant, they don't have fancy renovation but they do use quality food material, I can tell because I traveled around the country to do work with my camper van I sure eat a lot of take out foods.“
“New Dragon is takeout only since the COVID era. Their food is the best in the Hockessin area. It's the only place that will make the food as spicy as I want. Other places dumb it down because most don't like really spicy food as we do. New Dragon is worth the trip up the hill.“

“Gotten food here multiple times, it's the best Chinese food around! The wait times are not very long, considering only 2 people working most of the time. They have a giant menu with good deals. Also, I got a pack of chopsticks with three chopsticks... I'm not opening it lol. Anyway, 5/5 Stars!!“

“A Chinese food takeaway that has been operating in Capitol Trail Newark Delaware for over a decade. The taste of the food was so mediocre that it could even be described as shoddy. The reason for giving them a five star rating is that they solve many of the workers' daily meals and are affordable. The Chinese are hard-working, and even the epidemic has not stopped them from moving forward. We need to applaud their professionalism.???“

“I love it, the waitresses are very friendly and the food is very delicious but they need to put changing mats for the babies in the men's and women's bathrooms, because it is uncomfortable to go out and change their diapers in the car and even more so in the cold.Far from that everything is very good“
