“Stacy was amazing. She explained everything to us making sure we knew all the specials. The nachos were definitely great and huge. Just like she said. We had the Reuben taco and the general taco. Really yummy. And the drinks.. delicious margaritas. Great atmosphere. Would recommend!“
“Their stuffed pretzels are out of the world!! The beer is amazing, banana pudding beer is a must try!! Their apricot butter dipping creates heaven in our mouth!! Highly recommend going there for a bite of their delicious pretzels and dips!!“
“Came here for a dinner hosted by a vendor for work. Was able to try a bunch of different appetizers. Got the lobster roll, wished their had just a bit more lobster. The dessert tart was also delicious. Got the lychee martini and some strawberry drink that everyone was getting. Both drinks were good. Service was very good as there were prob 30 of us. Very attentive all night.“
“We had good experience in our first visit to this restaurant. The food was great and the drinks were very good. The only thing I would say is that you should make a reservation before heading there. It gets very busy, hence why the little wait before we got our food.“
“Their Bloody Mary is one of the best ones I have ever tasted! Also tried the French toast brioche with blueberries and it was delicious! Their portion sizes are quite large, so even one dish is big enough to share with someone! The ambiance of the place is of the rusty, dive bar type but it works for them! The staff was also very fast and friendly! Will come back in the future to try more of their drinks!“
“Really loved this place. Great service & the coffees were extremely delicious. Friendly people working & they hang up art from local artist. Did not get any pictures of that but I will be back to try their other latte flavors and vegan pastries. Very cute decor inside as well!“
“After attending church in Providence on Sunday, my friends and I chose to have brunch at Rouge Island Local Kitchen & Bar!Parking near Weybosset St always proves challenging, and even though we called ahead for reservations, we were informed that we still had to endure a 40-minute wait. Eager to indulge in our meals, we settled into the cozy yet slightly warm dining room.Taking 15 minutes to peruse the menu, I selected the Cinnamon Roll French Toast Sticks. Despite their appealing appearance, I found the texture and flavor disappointing, sensing the batter was undercooked. Conversely, my friend enjoyed them, praising their hearty feel & excellent cinnamon crunch exterior, rating them 4 out of 10.The absolute highlight of my meal was "The Bear" breakfast sandwich, priced at $23. It featured Beer Braised Short Rib Shredded Beef, Giardiniera Aioli, Cabot Creamery Sharp Cheddar, Roasted Garlic, Arugula, Fried Shallots, and a Sunny Side Egg on a Griddled Sesame Seed Bun. I opted for an over-easy egg and homefries. My brother & I both got this thing of beauty. We gave it an impressive 8.8 outta 10 for its fantastic flavors!Other friends tried the Crispy Chicken & Waffle, appreciating the crispy, meaty chicken but finding it lacking in flavor. The waffle, though well-cooked, was deemed average, with the fresh berries being the highlight. They rated it 6.1 out of 10 and expressed a desire to explore different menu items next time. One friend ventured into The Blondie French Toast from the specials menu, describing it as lackluster & mushy with an unexpected lemon taste. She mentioned that the flavors didn't complement each other well. Priced at $19 for two pieces, most of it remained on the plate, resulting in a unfortunate 3 outta 10 rating.I would like to extend special acknowledgment to our exceptional server, Ally, whose attentive service significantly enhanced our dining experience!Despite the mixed experience, our overall impression was positive, leaving us eager to return for more tasty and creative brunch offerings!FOLLOW ME ON Instagram @IGTYFOOD !!!“
“Great all around experience. Smoked wings and brussel sprouts were terrific, wonderfully seasoned and cooked to perfection. Pulled pork, brisket and chicken sausage were all great in their own way with nice blends of flavor and a good mix of crisp and tender bits of pork and brisket. The food didn't need extra sauce, but it did add a little to the pork. Finally, we all agreed that the skillet cornbread was amazing and would be worth doubling up on in the future!“
“Mostly a bar with a reasonable selection of sandwiches and salads. Serves breakfast on Saturday and Sunday. Breakfast was good. Eggs and bacon were cooked properly and the pancake was also fine. Pancake syrup was imitation. Nothing outstanding but also nothing to complain about. Service was quick and friendly but the place was almost empty at noon on a Saturday. Price was low.“
“Had the TAGOLINI POSITANIO. Pretty disappointed. The pasta was overcooked, didn't really see the eggplant and the big hunk of cheese was buried underneath. I told the waitress the pasta was over cooked. She said she'd tell the chef, didn't get any feedback. I've always enjoyed the food but woul not recommend this dish.“
