“Luckily a friend told us about what to expect here otherwise we would’ve been totally confused. There are two separate businesses located in one location called “The Royal Bobcat” with OUI over the entrance. If that isn’t confusing enough you’ll need to walk thru the bar area to find a couple of menus on a small counter or, you can use the QR code on each table to peruse the menu. Ring the bell on the counter and someone will appear to take your food order. If you want drinks you order from the bar. We had the gumbo which was a small bowl of a Southern grandma’s comfort food. Next, the gooey chicken wings coated in a Korean finger lickin’ glaze and the vege dumplings – crispy and delicious although I have had better at another Korean restaurant. Overall, the food was good and I really like the vibe of the place with stained glass and sparkly lights in an intimate setting. My only slightly negative comment would be the bartendress who is low on the scale of friendly and definitely not a smiler. Bartending isn’t difficult. Really it isn’t. I bartended in my youth in strip clubs to huge nightclubs (which is probably why I can’t hear well now). Your job is to be a purveyor of liquid happiness with a side of charm. Cracking a smile now and again will can turn this bar into a beacon of joy amidst a delightful menu of seoulful bayou Korean-Cajun fusion concoctions.Parking: It's Federal Hill where parking is always a challenge.“
“Like a Chef Gusto of Providence. Food is well served and plated. Service is polite and on-time as can be. The atmosphere is friendly, inviting, and that of a dreamy writer aesthetic. Highly Recommend. Go on a busy Weekend or Relax on a Thursday for some nice cafe feels.(Reviewer is bodily 25)“
“My boyfriend loves this place and speaks of it often - I finally got to try it out this weekend and understand his obsession. We ordered way too much but everything was delicious! Great depth of flavor in everything and a good variety of items on the menu. My favorite was probably the wings (we ordered half and half), but my boyfriend swears by the curry katsu. Only waited about 10 min to be seated on a Saturday night. Worth a visit!“
“DO NOT ORDER ONLINE WITH CAVIAR!!it is apparently a scam, it will collect your money and send you a confirmation for your order and when you get to the restaurant they’ll have no idea what you’re talking about, inform you it’s a scam and you’ll need to repurchase your meal. save yourself and your pockets. spent $50 on 2 apps ?“
“Few places have sushi this good. The Korean fare is superb. The hosts are amazing and gracious. They have Soju! Simply put, this is one of the best sushi restaurants I have ever dined in anywhere and it's in the top two Korean restaurants. Ichiban means number one, this place does not disappoint! Family owned. Every single item on the menu is absolutely fantastic! I recommend you start at the top and work your way down, you may need repeat visits!Dietary restrictions: They will accommodate any restrictions with a smile.Kid-friendliness: They have high chairs!Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp access.“
“Loved our late lunch here on a busy Saturday - our meals were served in adorable "bento" style boxes, an array of tasty banchan along with the main course, and a soup. Service was remarkably fast, the atmosphere is perfect for a date! I got the "Stonepot bibimbap" with pork and it was served with a fried egg, arrived sizzling and fresh. I really enjoyed the crusty rice on the bottom. On our next visit I want to try their Ssam, where they let you make wraps using leafy vegetables around savory fillings.“
“This is a place that I would've walked right by and never given it another thought if I didn't have the Food Fights coupon for wings. It's so unassuming. So plain but OMG the food will surprise you. The wings are to die for. Dumplings...well, they were equally incredible. Lots of lip smacking sauce with crispy edges and soft on the inside. Oh Lordy. We were given complimentary Korean appetizers of kim chi and other pickled veges which were very good. Now, I don't want to get your expectations up too much because maybe you'll find this isn't your cup of tea but we sure enjoyed the meal. We'll be back.“
“I got the veggie stone pot bibimbap, which came with a cup of miso soup. A nice, healthy dinner! I liked the atmosphere - lots of wood and pretty lamps. The service was inattentive, unfriendly, and minimal, but the food came out okay and without a long wait.“
“I don't know why people expect so much service from a self serve ordering place. There are HUGE kiosks and you pre-pay for your food. There are different categories and regions for your food. They have HUGE screens that show your food is being prepared and then ready. What are people going to do when AI takes over?Anyway, I love the food here...I always get the duck noodle soup with Ho Fun Noodles. I've had the pho and it's also great. Yes it's $25 but people throw $25 on a table to lose in a second? I don't get it. It's a huge portion as well with a Deep bowl. What more do you want? Free? Lol“
