The service was good and the staff very friendly.

The chicken quality was excellent, but I would say for me it’s over seasoned and that makes the outside breading hard and somewhat dry. You can overcome this by adding more Dave’s sauce and pickles, but overall it wasn’t anything super special.

Fries are a bit boring, just basic crinkle fries with some kind of old bay seasoning.

For me it doesn’t rank above many other main stream Chicken shops. I Would not make a special trip for it, but would go back again.”

“Spectacular dining experience between the service, Sarah and Olivia were phenomenal! The food, the scratch made fettuccine was perfectly cooked and coated with the hearty bolognese full of flavor, the eggplant app was mouthwatering and the Gorgonzola dip w/ garlic bread was incredible- they should bottle the stuff! The atmosphere was inviting and full of locals who were eager to share their recommendations! 10/10 will be back!”

“The piadina are amazing along with the homemade pasta and prepared items. The Portsmouth store is much easier to access than Middletown (parking) and the staff are great. I would give 5 stars if they were open til at least 5:30pm weeknights. It’s hard to get there by 5pm and I imagine they lose quite a bit of business from those of us wanting to grab dinner on the way home from work.”

“On a recent trip to Middletown, Rhode Island, my family made a return visit to the Coddington Brewery. We’ve been here several times and have never been disappointed. The atmosphere is warm, comfortable seating and a nice bar area. Pictured is the Turkey Platter which has all the flavors of a home Thanksgiving meal. Also pictured is the Roast Beef Club; delicious! Any of the burgers and sandwiches would be a good choice and there are more formal type dinners offered. It being a brewery, there is always a nice selection of beer. Try this place; you’ll like it and want to go back.”

On the recommendation of our charter captain, Connor from Newport Charter Group, we decided to check out Mission Burgers—and we’re so glad we did.

From the moment we walked in, the staff was friendly and welcoming. We ordered a couple of burgers and Cajun fries, and wow—the flavor was absolutely off the charts. The burgers were juicy, perfectly cooked, and downright mouthwatering.

Parking can be a bit of a challenge, but it’s worth circling around for a spot. The restaurant was clean, and our food came out surprisingly fast.

If you're in Newport and craving a great burger, this place is a must. Highly recommend!”

“We’ve had a couple meals at the Helmway and they were delicious! The calamari is crispy and done just right, the harvest salad is excellent! The scallops were done to perfection…sweet and tender. The lobster risotto is excellent too! We had the cinnamon toast bread pudding…just wow!! The wine selection is just right! We’ll definitely go back and highly recommend the Helmway!! I couldn’t find a place to give it stars, but I would definitely give it 5 out of 5!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“The Power of Juice is an incredible place. They have many magical juices that can make you feel better instantly. They have essential oils that help with sinuses and also have a magical soda water that can help with headaches/migraines and much much more!The staff at Power of Juice is incredible, I have been in a few times now not feeling well at all and each staff member always took the time to recommend something to help with how I was feeling and I never felt rushed, one of which days was Christmas Eve the store was slammed and the staff member didn’t let that get in the way from taking me over to show me a new essential oil they just got in to help with my massive sinus headache. Power of juice is now my go to place for a pick me up juice or if I need something for when I’m not feeling well, I now try this before taking over the counter medicine.”

“I ordered a brick house with slaw, beans, potato salad and Mac and cheese as well as a kielbasa and a dozen wings. The food was fabulous. Me and my family have ordered food from here for years and we were excited when we heard new owners were taking it over. Becky’s is such a treasure here - real smoky bbq in RI. We haven’t been able to try since the reopening until now and I’m happy to say our expectations for excellence were met. Beans were as great as always, pulled pork was flavorful and juicy, wings were awesome. We loved everything. Props to the new owners for keeping it alive. Andy”

“China Star 2 is probably one of the better Chinese food places on the island. Honestly, the food is consistent which is what we care about. However, I would never get delivery, it should always be picked up. When it is picked up, it’s always hot, fresh and good. But this is the third time we’ve gotten a delivery that took about an hour, on a slow night where we live five minutes away. I called and was told 20 min before my food came that the food was done but they were waiting on a driver. So, guess what… my food came like warm with some things plain cold. A little sad. I can easily recommend if you do takeout, just don’t do delivery or your food is cold”

“Great hospitality! We went to Mizu for the first time this week for my daughters 8th birthday and we had our 1 1/2 year old with us. Our hibachi chef, Stephen, was so awesome with both of the girls and even though our little one is super shy she ended up finding a bestie in Stephen.
