“3rd time here and I'll definitely be coming back. From my previous visits, the falafel wrap and cauliflower wrap were both delicious. This time I tried the Sambousek and the Chicken Bacon Ranch pizza and both were great. Pizza was cooked perfectly with a nice crispy bottom and crust. The owner is always friendly and the place looks new and fresh. Looking forward to exploring more of the menu.“
“Popped in just for a slice. Already know this is a good spot. The vibes are right. Pinball, good beer selection, very much some solid pizza. Sad I never came in here before.Parking: There's a small lot and free parking on the street. There's also a bike rack.“
“Went to Down City Pizza today with my mom and nephew and we were all extremely impressed. It was our first time eating here but we will definitely be regular customers from here on. The staff was friendly, the establishment was clean and welcoming, prime location and the food was fresh, good quality and delicious. We had the mozzarella sticks, fries, pizza, a salad and dessert. Everything was so tasty. The pizza dough was really good and definitely on my top 5 favorite pizza places. They also serve beer, wine, and seltzer, which was a huge plus. Definitely looking forward to going back next weekend to try the steak sandwich! My new favorite hang out!“
“This is a solid pie, with a delicious crust. The sauce isn't too sweet which I often find to be a problem at other places. They don't use too much cheese, again often a problem at other places. Their meatballs are absolutely delicious. They have a great patio for eating out when the weather is nice and the music is always good. Criticisms: they could use a bit more consistency with their cooking, as sometimes the crust is underdone and other times partially burnt; they would benefit from better, not quite so hipster salad/veg options to go with their pizzas; the pizza they serve by the slice is not what they serve as whole pies and is honestly (IMO of course) a let down, so bready! Overall though, great spot and definitely worth a try. Oh and they have the best hold music OF ALL TIME.“
“Hands down, still the best pizza in Rhode Island. I've been going here since I was a kid, and nothing compares. Whether you order the deluxe with everything on it or simply a cheese pizza, you will not be disappointed. And don't forget to get a Wimpy Skimpy! Highly recommended!Parking: There are spots in the lot and on the street, but depending on the time of day, it can be severely limited. If you drive around, you'll find parking.Kid-friendliness: It's a pizza place, so it is kid friendly. There is a large screen television. However, your children can always face the opposite direction if you don't want them staring at a screen.“
“We rented the upstairs room for a bridal shower and it was the absolute perfect space and experience! It is on the smaller side, fitting a max of 25 people, but that was perfect as we had a guest list of only 20. The booking process was easy and the food was delicious, but the service is what stole the show. We had one server, Maria, for the whole party and she was a rockstar. She was seemingly always there when we needed her, she was so sweet, and she made great menu recommendations. I highly recommend renting The District’s space if you have a small gathering - it was top notch!“
“One of the best restaurants you’ll ever go to. The pizza is the best in the world (no exaggeration). Everything else on their menu is delicious and unique. From their salad to pasta, you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. The atmosphere is always lively and service is great. Can’t recommend enough.“
“This pizza - so delicious! The slices are huge so I was able to get away with 1 slice. They have their pizzas on display. You choose your choices, pay, and they heat it up and you pick up from the counter. Service is fast and they have other foods like sandwiches and desserts too. Inexpensive and great for a quick stop for pizza.“
“HORRIBLE!!!! Charged me 25.00 +tax for wings and Onion rings! Menu in store was $7 and $3!! I get inflation but 12.00 for wings and 7 for onion rings and then charges me 6.00 in Tax!! Never AGAIN YALL CAN KICK ROCKS!!!!! Worst place EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!“
“Fantastic experience ! Pizza was excellent. We got 2 pizzas: half cheese/half meatball and the Conrad. Both delicious!! I also got a lemon drop martini which was delish. We had 2 small kids with us (3.5 and 1.5) who were over tired after a providence bruins game. Our server was so kind and understanding of them… I wish I remembered her name to give her a shoutout. Very kid friendly environment while also being delicious and fun. Can’t wait to return!“
“Their pizza is next level! Everyone absolutely must go and try it at LEAST once! I particularly enjoy going on Wednesdays when every slice is just $3. Seriously can't beat that! My personal faves (in order, lol) include the steak burrito pizza, bbq steak & cheddar with bacon, chicken bacon ranch & broccoli, & the chicken parm pizza!“
“Is it worth the wait? Well, I waited & tried for over a 1-1/2 yr to score a golden ticket.. I'm normally a thin-crust- pizza-snob, kinda girl.. but I also have a serious appreciation (& addiction) for artisan breads. Hotline's pizza crust/foccacia alone is amazing. The toppings are fresh & the combos are unique. After waiting for over a year & half, I say heck yes, it's worth the wait! Every pizza lover should try Hotline at least once.Anita ✌? ?“
“I’m giving Piemontes 5 stars because their pizza is fantastic. BUT….Piemonte’s…. Cmon… I ordered a gluten free pizza (margarita) and you put this HORRIBLE looking basil in my box, you didn’t even put it in my pizza, which also came cold as ice. Do better next time with Gluten free pizza.“
“I never really review places but I had to with Nice Slice.. my first time here and my daughter has a severe gluten allergy and I was recommended by a friend to come and get their Gluten Free Pizza! Well let me tell you they definitely take the Gluten allergy serious and the pizza was AMAZING!! Since my daughter diagnoses we haven’t really found a really good GF Pizza that is edible lol.. this place is amazing and the toppings she can have is endless . Also the staff here is great. And so friendly , so if you are looking for awesome pizza all around .. and also GF pizza come here you won’t be disappointed!!! Thank you Nice Slice for making my daughter a happy girl again with your awesome pizza …“
“If you're not eating at Tomaselli's, where are you eating? The staff, food and bar chairs are where it is at! They have daily specials and great deals. There is something for everyone on the menu. If you want Italian, look no further then your own local favorites at Tomaselli's at Rosario! Great for a small dinner or a large function. Call and reserve a spot today!“
“Best halal pizza spot in the New England area and some of the best you’ll find on the east coast. The owner is Palestinian and superfriendly! There is a good amount of clean seating space and clean bathrooms. Great operating hours as well (open late night)Our go-to order is a buffalo chicken pie with beef bacon added on. The dough is the perfect combination of crisp and doughiness. The buffalo chicken has a great crisp and flavor, and the cheese is quality. The meat is verbally verified halal. For those looking for hand-slaughtered chicken, it is available upon request otherwise they usually use machine slaughtered chicken from restaurant depot.Overall, this is a must hit if visiting RI. Follow our page on Instagram @newenglandhalaleats for more reviews!Dietary restrictions: Everything is halal, owners are Muslim!“
“Absolutely delicious food here! Great attentive service throughout the entire meal. We ordered the Beer Battered Onion Rings, House Salad, and a Small stuffed Pizza (mushrooms and sausage). Highly recommend ordering a stuffed pizza if you've never had one before!! I'll definitely be back for more!Parking: Parking is metered where you can pay with an app during peak time.“
“I'd lost hope for a good cheesesteak in RI, born and raised but one area I feel we lack. I prefer cheese over cheese whiz, not looking for a Philly... mighty Mike did Not disappoint! Nice mix of cheese throughout the meat, rather than just tossed on top. Overall very satisfying and I'll order again, looking forward to trying their pizza too!“
“Went for the first time last night , the food was delicious ! Our waitress was fantastic and the atmosphere as well ! Very cozy ! I really loved the menu selections . Everything we had, apps and entrees were delicious ! I will be going back !!“
“We had a really good time at this place. Our son has lots of allergies and the staff made a special - and delicious - allergens-free pizza for him. Good vibes, nice playlist, awesome pizza ovens. Very kind service. Tight place to park but it is a good incentive to actually not come with a car and use instead bike/public transportation. Will go back.“
“Angie and Maddie were Phenomenal! Being a mixologist my self I don’t highly rate a lot of other places drinks, but WOW! That passion fruit margarita was top tier! And to make it even better their service was the best: friendly, professional, warming… I felt very comfortable. Thank you rooftop team for keeping such amazing staff. They passed the vibe check and I will be back!“
“Food was exceptionally fresh, balanced, and delicious. Flavors were masterfully handled, and the pizza's texture was fantastic. Although on the pricey side, I personally thought it was definitely worth it. Comparable to New Haven's best pizza (or even better)!! Will come back.“
“Hope St on the East Side is a bit cut-throat. The restaurant industry being as difficult as it is, Hope Street Pizza and Family Restaurant does a good job.Like the pizzerias of old days, the menu is jacked up with options. There are salads, sandwiches, dinner combos, and pizzas. They also offer a few allergen friendly options such as gluten-free pizza crusts and pasta. Please note, they do not have gluten-free bread for sandwiches. For anyone who stores gluten-free goods, we all know how costly it is to have it, and it goes rotten. So Hope Street Pizza and Family Restaurant is strategic in their menu options.I'd like to make a remark about how this business also supports sustainability. They had paper packaging with their take out items. Thumbs up for moving forward with that! Finally, the food review. A lamb souvlaki dinner was ordered, with french fries and a side salad (which was extra cost). The total was around $20 to $21 dollars, and included plenty of food to match the price. The lamb was flavorful and amply decorated with a tzatziki sauce. Fries were the standard cut and come preseasoned. The side salad had a variety of vegetables that were not lettuce.I finished my meal feeling FULL. There was even enough to share with my partner. This was a great place to come to, and I will be making more trips to this place just based on their packaging choice. It can be expensive, but I don't think I want to poke into a styrofoam packaging and have it be a part of the side salad I'm eating.Good job, Hope Street Pizza and Family Restaurant! Thanks for the great meal!“
“Hip, intimate spot with fantastic food and a Middle Eastern Vibe. The owner is Lebanese so you know the food is authentic. The Proprietor, Mr. Maatouk, is a locally famous restauranteur who certainly knows how to give the people what they want! Fresh, tasty food, intimate settings, good music, friendly staff and a creative well stocked bar. Best part is, it's priced well so you won't go home and cry about your empty pocketbook. Walking distance from Water fire and PPAC. I recommend this place for dates, theater dining, socializing and generally just to chill and relax with some great vibes.Dietary restrictions: They accommodate most restrictions especially Kosher/HalalParking: Try around backKid-friendliness: NotWheelchair accessibility: They make accommodations.“
“Good little pizza place on Federal Hill ! I always come here for the two slice of pizzas with a can of soda $7 or a beer or wine for $10 then next door they have a bar call Jake’s and Johnnys with a full bar and food plus nightly entertainment till 1am and they have cheap drink prices it’s a very fun place to go especially for the locals“
“How do I even explain how good this place is? We just went for the first time during Lord of the Wings. The wings were some of the best I’ve ever had. Cooked perfectly, super moist, packed with flavor. Got some pizza too. PERFECT. That crust that is slightly crispy and slightly chewy at the same time! They must make their own sauce because I’ve never tasted sauce that flavorful on a pizza before. I wonder if I can buy the sauce because I need it in my life. The staff was incredibly nice and it’s clearly a family business. Take. My. Money. The only thing I regret is not taking a picture. There wasn’t time. I ate all the food in the car on the way home.“
“Fantastic food always very tasty . There chicken is to die for so crisp and juicy . The grinders are always extremely good and the pizza is delicious hit or cold. The owners are some if the nicest people you could ever meet all about family.“
“I had the Honey Goats Cheese and the Margherita pizza which were amazing! Im grateful to the kind staff who helped me carry the pizzas out the door as I was struggling with a stroller!Kid-friendliness: Thanks again for helping me carry the pizzas out with a stroller“
“Amazing food and service! We ordered take out pizza and wings earlier this week and everything was DELICIOUS! the team at New England Pizza was so kind and the service was OUTSTANDING. I would highly recommend - don't hesitate, just order!!“
“Old school spot that’s been around a long time. Their Steak/cheese/mushrooms/onions with mayo is good. Price is $10 worth it because it’s stuffed you really don’t need a large. Also, bought a Whole Clam plate which is Whole Clam with belly(fried of course) coleslaw/french fries. Clams were Great. Cleaned well So NO gritty sand. Fries are just fries. Coleslaw is really good it’s different(better) than anything around. My only Beef is that they charge for Tartar sauce. Tartar sauce goes hand in hand with Fried Clams so why charge. It’s like “I know you want Tartar sauce” so I’m gonna charge you. Oh yeah Whole Fried Clam plate was only $25. Great price. You get ALOT they didn’t skimp. Other than the charging of $1 for Tartar sauce the meal is worth it/very good. They’re closed(Sunday) today I wish they wasn’t because I want more Clams. They don’t do delivery. I forgot I spent $36 for everything. Well worth itParking: It’s a parking lotKid-friendliness: It’s a Diner setup so it’s friendly to everyone“
“Big Tony’s is the absolute best! As a Providence College student Big Tony’s is a classic go to for late night food, and it always hits the spot. The food is amazing. They also have the nicest employees, and pay it back to their community! Recently, Tony Jr. made a very nice donation of gift cards to myself and a few other PC students to help us support a local nonprofit organization in their area. We appreciate you Big Tony’s!!“
“We had an amazing time, the bartender Tori was so attentive and knowledgeable. The food and drinks were excellent, I got the trofie al pesto, and an Italian bee (gin cocktail) and it was out of this world!! I would highly recommend this restaurant and will be back!“
“As a Brown student, there is simply no way to go about avoiding the atrocity that is Jo's on a Friday or Saturday night. Whether you're looking for a delicious grilled cheese sandwich or loaded quesadilla because you can't make one yourself (hey, I'm not judging), a greasy burger or chicken sandwich (spicy with, if you will) accompanied by french fries, onion rings, and mozzarella sticks, or the best salad on campus (I've never once gotten one myself -- that's just what people say), Jo's is your place. They've got enough food to feed an army of ravenous college students, which is exactly what happens nearly every night starting at 6:00 PM up until the dark hours of two in the morning. Whatever you're craving, they've got it: cookies, ice cream, Rice Krispies treats, pretzels & hummus, juice, soda, chips, and more. The perfect place for off-meal-plan students to treat themselves (or get treated ;) to a deliciously unhealthy on-campus meal, Jo's will always hold a special place in every Brown student's heart. Looking for a more balanced meal that isn't the underwhelming buffets at the Ratty or the V-Dub? Off to Andrews or the Ivy Room for you, young trooper.“
“I order over the phone a majority of the time but even there the customer service shines. That being said, the food is worth 5 stars alone. I’ve yet to order something that wasn’t made exactly as I ordered and it’s ALWAYS delicious! It’s nice that this place has a variety in what they serve and the hours of operation make it EXTREMELY convenient! The only draw back is the parking. There is very little parking in front of the business however there’s a huge parking lot right across the street so it is manageable! I highly recommend trying the food if you’re near by or looking for a healthy alternative to fast food after midnight!“
“Borrelli's is my go to shop for everything pastry. Pizza strips, spinach pies, white pizza chips are a regular for my family. The Italian bread and rolls are always crispy and tender. Pepper biscuits, wine biscuits, and egg biscuits are always a big hit. I just recently brought some egg biscuits to a meeting and they were gone before the meeting ended!“
“Pizza is always really great hood pizza one of the best ones around lot better than Olympics pizza on broad even the old Olympics when terry owned it can’t beat this spot the only other hood pizza that might got this one beat is brothers on broad st not to be confused with La brothers pizza on broad (nice try poppi lol) stick to the meat pies and chimis for fast hand food but I like both brothers and excellent pizza for hood pizzas I go back and forth brothers a lot more greasy in a good way and cheesy especially if the younger guys at brothers are cooking it but excellent pizza is little more better crust and ingredients just not as much cheese“
“Great, food!!! , the service was quick and the waiter was so kind. I was expecting it too be way slower on a weekend but this surprised me. Amazing, I would suggest. Jennie B. was our waiter and she was such a wonderful person.Kid-friendliness: Our waitress, Jennie B. was so kind to my daughter, and really understanding about the mess that she made.“
“Wicked awesome place! Great food, fair prices (food is worth EVERY penny)! Wonderful staff, super friendly and extremely welcoming! Highly recommend trying the food! They also deliver!Parking: It's a hit or miss with the parkingKid-friendliness: Yes, they are kid friendlyWheelchair accessibility: Yes, you would be able to enter with a wheelchair“
“I've had better pizza slices. However, it did not dissapoint. The NY pepperoni slice kept me busy as I was waiting for a movie to start.Pros:Mozzarella cheese tasted relatively fresh + and stringy.Dough is nice and soft.Cons:Wish the slice was less greasy on the top and...well... the sauce was bland. (hence the star off)Overall, the pizza was good!“
“this is my absolute ? favorite pizza spot I'm not there living currently but I'm always wanting a slice and or personal pizza from this restaurant Olympic Pizza I'm definitely going to have to make a stop there next time I am in the area.“
“this Domino's delivers on time with the correct order, 100% of the times that I have ordered. love this store, love Domino's. as an older adult I truly appreciate the service and food I get from this Domino's. thank you guys so much!“
“My family & i were visiting Rhode Island from CT and find this pizza place on goggle.. Excellent costumer service... specially the wonderful and friendly waitress Mary, i order their chicken alfredo pasta and it was a lot and delicious.100% recommend ?“
