A huge shout-out to Chef Michelle, you made our night genuinely fulfilling with your exquisite yet simple plant-based goodness. Thank you for the good work you do in our world and for proving that you can eat joyfully and plant-based simultaneously!! You are soooo worth the 90 minute drive to visit with you. “I recently hosted my sister's baby shower at Maria's Cucina, and it was such an excellent experience! Chris, the owner, scheduled several phone calls with me to ensure we had everything planned to perfection prior to the day, which was especially appreciated as I was planning from out of state. Chris was always kind and professional on our calls, and had great menu recommendations - especially considering our group had unique dietary needs (vegetarian and gluten free). The day of the shower, the staff was also extremely kind, professional, warm, accommodating, and so helpful. The food was delicious (we had an antipast platter and salads to start; our entrees were gluten free carbonara, eggplant parm with pasta, and a chicken parm sandwich with french fries; dessert options were creme brulee (DELICIOUS), tiramisu, lemon cake, and cannolis) , and highly complimented by everyone in attendance. I would host an event here again in a heartbeat. Thank you so much to Chris, and all of the staff!“

“I came back a week later and still had an amazing experience. The shrimp and scallop bruschetta was the best thing I've had in such a long time! The bread was so crispy yet it was covered in the cream sauce. I'm not sure how they figured out how to not make it a soggy dish, but wow! That was amazing. There were only about two shrimp and two pieces of scallops, but it was well worth it! The swordfish and lobster risotto was also very tasty. Just like with the penne, I wish the lobster serving was way larger. Besides, that was an awesome dish! It feels like I found my new restaurant that I bring all my out of town folks to, to truly get the Rhode Island foodie experience.“
