“Stopped in today to try out the new spot! I was impressed! First we tried the Pineapple Cosmo and the Pink Spritz! Both were delicious!! Well shaken for a cosmo. Bartender was super friendly and attentive! When we got here there was only the brunch menu available....we ordered the deviled eggs and Maple and Cider Bacon! So great! We decided to stay and then get the Seafood Tower....also good! We didn't love the bread, although we wanted to! It's got a great vibe, easy location and everyone seems happy and friendly! Excited to try this again and come for dinner!“

The food was impeccable, the service was top tier, the drinks were delicious, and the atmosphere was cozy.Plenty of menu options to choose from, with multiple chef specials to boot. I chose a special the day we went - Pasta Davina. Generous portions, and priced fairly. “Honestly, you can't go wrong here. Sure, you pay a steeper price but that price gets you quality. Quality drinks, food, service, setting, etc. I'd rather do this once twice a year than a regular spot once a week. It's just different but in a great way.“

Had my mouth on fire but I couldn't stop eating because of how flavorful it was! Service was great as well. “Go to "let's just go out to eat tonight" spot. Foods always good. Particular favorites (that never disappoint): Shrimp Mozambique, Baked Haddock, Baked Stuffed Shrimp, Baked Seafood Trio, and any of the steaks. The Fish & Chips is good, but not like Irish pub good; The Chicken Parm on the other hand coulda come outta a place with Chianti bottles hanging from the ceiling.“

“My favorite thing here was the Lobster Roll. It had really good toasted bread, and the Lobster was well buttered and tasty. My second favorite thing was the clam chowder. Pretty good choice, as it used quahog clams, which seems to be local to Rhode Island. I also got that as a combo with the Clam Cakes, which were decent, but mostly bread.“

“Tiny on the inside but packs a mighty oyster punch. No reservations but there’s a standing bar area you can start ordering drinks and oysters from while you wait. Obviously come for the oysters, but stay for the Bulgarian lamb burger!! Also the kimchi brine oyster shooters. Man those things were delicious (and dangerous!!) Also also pickled fried onions. Get those you won’t regret it.“

“Great food, great value. The Cod Bruschetta and the New England Cod are outstanding! The Cod is fresh, the green beans are crisp and the mashed potatoes are pure comfort food. Everyone who has joined us at Black has really enjoyed the food, especially the sweet potato fries. The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable.“

“The seafood was cooked to perfection, not undercooked or overcooked however the fries, chips and rings were undercooked and greasy. The clams are not the traditional corn flour only coating so overly crunchy for my taste. Fish is wet battered. Scallops are sautéed without a coating and again not what I was expecting. Tarter sauce is homemade which is a nice surprise and maybe the coleslaw too but it was super heavy with mayonnaise.If I do go back, I will try both the red & white chowdah sand the clam cakes too.Excellent service, very accommodating and friendly.$10.00 for onion rings is a bit pricey in my opinion* Note * This place has been around for years but the original owner retired and was sold to the new owners 5 years ago“

“I visited here for the first time while visiting my great aunt. She brought me here, saying that this is one of her favorite restaurants in the area. She's been coming for over 10 years! I can definitely see why she's such a loyal customer.To start, we shared a bowl of their Seafood Chowder. I had to try it after seeing that it had won awards in 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2016. It was hands down the best chowder I've ever had. The broth was incredibly creamy, but not too heavy, with a perfect balance of savory flavors.For my main course, I ordered the Prime Rib Wrap. The prime rib was piled high, juicy, and had just the right amount of spice. It was paired with melted Swiss cheese, peppercorn mayo all wrapped in a warm, crispy tortilla dusted with Cajun seasoning. The combination of textures and flavors was absolutely delicious.My great aunt opted for her usual, the Baked Scrod, and as always, she raved about it. It's clear that the quality and consistency of the food here keeps her coming back.The service was also excellent. Our waitress was friendly, attentive, and made great recommendations. “Ocean Pride Seafood is sparkling clean inside. There is absolutely NO fishy smell. The showcases are immaculately clean with a wide variety of seafood. The staff is courteous and helpful. Plenty of parking, too. I highly recommend. I wouldn't shop for seafood anywhere else.“

Unfortunately, I had to send back the steam clams due to the fact they were cool/room temperature to the touch. Even when they were cold, they still were delicious. The atmosphere was a romantic one. The wait staff was great. My main wait staffer was Taylor. She wasc OUTSTANDING! She took care of all of our food service needs.“

“First time here and was very impressed! My favorite Mexican place was closed (la Lupita) so i decided to go across the street to check out mi Ranchito! The service was awesome, two very sweet girls walked me through the menu. The bartender was clearly very well loved by staff and customers. Seemed like she knew the place like the back of her hand. She praised the soft tacos (which were delicious). I got one shrimp, beef, and chicken. Came with a salad and side of rice — the rice was phenomenal! But the star of the show was the Chicken soup. You can only do a large size for take out, but I was given the choice of having my chicken grilled… I said, why not? And I am so glad I did. The chefs put the stewed chicken, still on the bone, and crisp it up over heat. The chicken of the soup was then boxed separately from the broth, and I was shocked about how much delicious chicken they gave us! Falling off the bone, tender, but with a bit of a crust from the grilling at the end. So so good. Also came with a quarter of avocado and rice. A really good deal. I got a Modelo waiting for my food, and the total came out to $36 (and then i tipped $8, totaling $44!!“
