“Honestly, you can't go wrong here. Sure, you pay a steeper price but that price gets you quality. Quality drinks, food, service, setting, etc. I'd rather do this once twice a year than a regular spot once a week. It's just different but in a great way.“

Had my mouth on fire but I couldn't stop eating because of how flavorful it was! Service was great as well. “Officially one of my new favorite restaurants in providence! When you walk in, there's dim lighting which I particularly enjoyed especially because it made the providence sign stand out. Our waitress was kind and very attentive from the minute we were seated. Now the food was divine, everything was perfect. We ordered the calamari and each ordered the short rib with gnocchi. Every ingredient in that dish complimented each other so well, it was such a lovely culinary experience. My friend also ordered the "only fans" drink which she enjoyed. Will definitely return and can't wait to introduce more family and friends to this restaurant.“

“First time here and was very impressed! My favorite Mexican place was closed (la Lupita) so i decided to go across the street to check out mi Ranchito! The service was awesome, two very sweet girls walked me through the menu. The bartender was clearly very well loved by staff and customers. Seemed like she knew the place like the back of her hand. She praised the soft tacos (which were delicious). I got one shrimp, beef, and chicken. Came with a salad and side of rice — the rice was phenomenal! But the star of the show was the Chicken soup. You can only do a large size for take out, but I was given the choice of having my chicken grilled… I said, why not? And I am so glad I did. The chefs put the stewed chicken, still on the bone, and crisp it up over heat. The chicken of the soup was then boxed separately from the broth, and I was shocked about how much delicious chicken they gave us! Falling off the bone, tender, but with a bit of a crust from the grilling at the end. So so good. Also came with a quarter of avocado and rice. A really good deal. I got a Modelo waiting for my food, and the total came out to $36 (and then i tipped $8, totaling $44!!“

“Haruki has always been my favorite, the go to for freshness and delicious sushi. My all time favorite is the Die Hard. If you like spicy this one is a must. I love how the heat come on the end once you enjoyed the flavor of the fish. Must like cilantro!! The heat is complained by the freshness of the cilantro, my mouth waters... If you dine in sit at the sushi bar, a great way to spend the night watching the masters at work. Great sorce of entertainment on a date too. Lol“

“Red Stripe has got to be one of the most college-friendly spots on campus! The prices are very fair and there is a 20% RI college student discount. The atmosphere is comparable to an very upscale and clean diner with a full bar. There is a great rotating selection of local beers. The mussels are a popular dish and are delicious. I had the fish and chips which were great, but not exceptional. It was a very standard, simple and delicious meal. Fries are superb as well as the special sauces served with them. We had a great time and you definitely get what you pay for--nothing more and nothing less. A good spot to check out for a relatively budget meal.“

“Ordered the Jumbo tray Seafood Galore boil with Tom Yum Sauce (seasonal) + Medium spice. The seafood galore has crab legs, shrimp, crawfish, and clams. Comes with corn and potatoes.We got a decent amount of food. About ~20 shrimp, ~20 clams, and 2 crabs total. 2 half corn cobs and 6 potatoes. It’s advertised to feed 2-3 people, but if you have big appetites it’ll feed 2 at MOST.They were out of crawfish unfortunately, so I think they ended up charging us for the BYO seafood boil instead. We added on a lobster tail which also good.Flavor was amazing! You should definitely keep the Tom Yum sauce year round, it was so so good. Tangy, spicy, sweet, sour, and garlicky. Seafood was cooked nicely, not rubbery at all.Waiter was very kind. Service was fast. We went on Halloween (Tuesday) and it was dead.“

“My family and I went to Yama Fuji for Easter and really enjoyed the hibachi. The food was yummy and the wait staff was very accommodating. What I especially appreciated is the patience with which they treated my son who is nine and autistic. The chef in charge of the hibachi took the time to soothe my son when he became frightened of the open flame from the grill and promised him that he would warn him before using any more flames. “I'm a sushi lover, and I have to say that this place is amazing! I stumbled on it while I was visiting Providence and taking a stroll through this beautiful neighborhood. Why this place doesn't have a 4.9 overall star rating I can't understand! I've read some of the low reviews, and people complain of the customer service and wait staff. I found the staff to be friendly, attentive, and simply wonderful! It seems that a lot of people on here can't actually read the menu, where it actually states in black and white what is included in and on the rolls. I made a change on one of mine, and the staff was happy to accommodate. Maybe it's the way some.people talk to the staff, perhaps as though they are entitled? I think diners have forgotten how to politely communicate with staff, especially when there may be differences in culture (you've always got to keep this in mind)! Now that I told you how incredible the service is, let me tell you how much I loved the atmosphere of this dark, quaint hideaway. It's beautiful.. if you're looking for a brightly lit commercial restaurant, this is not it.. for those diiners complaining of it being small and dark, then why did they sit here and eat in the first place? Surely they saw exactly what it was like when they first walked in! Strange anyone would leave them a bad review for this when they are the ones that chose to sit and dine here knowing full well what the atmosphere was like. Mind-blowing really how ridiculous some people are! The sushi is outstanding. Most places fill their rolls with rice and give you very little protein. This place is the opposite, a good portion of protein in the rolls with a small amount of rice. I appreciated this!Give them a try, you won't be disappointed. “This is my go-to Chinese takeout place in Providence. The food is fresh and delicious and my order is always ready in about 15 minutes. They give you a ton of food so I get 2 or 3 meals out of it. I’ve never eaten inside so I can’t speak for that though. I highly recommend the scallion pancakes and orange chicken.“
“Lucia's is perfect for a girls night. Went to dinner there with my friends. We went on a Friday night they had karaoke. You got to wear a mariachi hat when you had the mike. The food is flavorful the drinks are . The waitresses and owner are super nice. They make you feel welcome. I got the veggie nachos and they did not disappoint. With a passion fruit margarita. They have two dinning rooms so very spacious. I highly recommend if you want great Mexican food and a night of fun and laughs!“
