“I was visiting Charleston and met a friend for breakfast at Harbinger. We were there as they opened their doors on a Saturday and there was already a short line. That's a good sign! I had the avocado toast named grasshopper. It was sooo good! I highly recommend this place for its inventive combinations and delicious bread.“
“I cannot rave about this place enough!! What a delightful, delicious and just fabulous place this is.As you enter this divine bakery, you are overcome with the most wonderful smells. It's so hard to decide what to get, and since there menu is fairly small do as many do - get one of everything! The biscuit with pimento cheese and pepper jelly will send your taste buds through the roof! Absolute heaven!!The staff was delightful as well. They empathized with us on trying to decide the best to try (hence, one of everything!).There are no tables inside, but there are some on the side of this cute little house. We lucked out with the wait, which is usually quite long (but moves very fast).“
“I’ve eaten a lot of grits in my life and these are hands down the best I have ever had. Seriously. I don’t know what kind of witchcraft y’all have going on in that kitchen, but it’s incredible. They were creamy, salty, peppery, and cheesy. And my eggs, yall. How do you make eggs taste that good?! Thank you for making my day Little Line Kitchen. I’ll be back as soon as I can!“
“First time in. They had a large variety of muffins, cookies, pies and pastries. I was greeted immediately. Lots of seating. Kind of a funky little place. I ended up getting a delicious key lime pie. Also got a gingerbread cookie which I loved the frosting but all the sprinkled sugar was overpowering. It would have been perfect without the extra sugar.“
“So happy to have this shop in West Ashley. Their baguettes in croissants are such a treat and not that I’m an expert, but seem true to European standards, if not better than my memories. As expected at the end of the the day they were out of most pastries, so I grabbed a coffee cake and simple egg & cheese on baguette. My 2 yr old was getting fussy, so as was going to tell him I have to go to the car, the kind cook read my mind. He offered to bring it to me. Simplicity made heavenly. I haven’t tried the coffee cake yet bc my daughter hasn’t let me have a bite. Lol looks delicious tho!“
“I've been wanting to come here for awhile after seeing their pictures of cruffins and I finally had the chance! The service was fast and friendly. I went around 11 and there were only a few pastries left. I ordered an almond croissant and an almond chocolate croissant to go. Both were delicious! For coffee I ordered the maple rose latte and had the B.E.P. sandwich! The sandwich was so good! I really loved the eggs on the b.e.p. I was expected breakfast potatoes but it turned out to be chips. It was a little disappointing but it tasted really good altogether. This sandwich was delicious! My friend got the red velvet latte and she said it was super tasty! I will definitely be back to try more items!“
“Pastries are delightful! Cute assortment of desserts that are indulgent and not too sweet. One star off bc seating is tight so you have to hover and wait for ppl to leave a table. We went at 5pm when Google said it was "less busy than usual" and we still had to wait about 15 mins on line to order, another 5 mins to get our food and drinks, and the whole time there were no extra seats. We then had to hover around holding hot coffee and tea mugs with a plate & fork of dessert.“
“Had an amazing experience here having a custom cake made. Alexis was easy to communicate with and willing to take me on with short notice during the holidays. I gave her a general idea of what I was picturing to include in the cake and she turned it into a beautiful reality. My mom cried at the sight of the cake and it tasted incredible!“
“If you are searching homemade cake in Charleston, look no further. Just stop right now and order one or two! We ordered chocolate/chocolate and red velvet. Everyone was impressed with these cakes. They were super, dare I say moist? Homemade cake and icing. Order now!“
“If you're looking for a cake that tastes great and decorated amazing, go check out The Cake Stand! Will and Lauren had great communication and tailored to my cake needs. They were friendly and provided great service. You definitely get value for your money! I highly recommend them.“
“Hands down the best cake I've ever had! Sweet Rhi knocked it out of the park with our wedding cake (biscoff cookie and s'mores flavors) and so many of our guests agreed it was the best they've had. We're so excited to dig into our anniversary cake in a year!“
“I ordered a variety of cupcakes for my friend’s birthday, and they were delicious! Everyone enjoyed them! I also ordered gluten-free cupcakes for me, and they were also so yummy! Service was great and friendly. I highly recommend Sugar Bakeshop!“
“Such a cute shop!!!There are a good variety of flavors for either thicker or thinner small cookies! The staff is very friendly and eager to give out as many free samples as you want, which is also amazing :)The packaging for the boxes is sooo cute and you can mix and match multiple cookie options in one box if you’re indecisive like me- great for snacking with a group of friends! ?“
“I had Ashley Bakery make my son’s 19th birthday cake. I asked for a basket ball on top. They far exceeded my expectations and had them wrapped around the sides as well. It was both a great looking and delicious. He’s a chocolate lover so it was chocolate/chocolate. The cake is light which everyone loved.Parking: Pull right up out front“
“This authentic French bakery is the real deal! As soon as I walked in this bakery I felt like I was transported into another country. The pastries are truly a work of art! The almond croissant was hands down the best pastry I have ever had… so good I’m still left day dreaming about it. The Le Chambertin bakery was one of the top highlights of our trip to Charleston! If you are in the area it is a must! Thank you for an unforgettable experience, we will be back! :)“
“Went by for pastries for the weekend. Not at all sad about it!! While I truly enjoy good pastries I don't like anything too sweet. I got a pecan bar which was delicious and not sweet as pecan pie- thank goodness! Would get it again. The pop tart was fun. Never cared for those in the store or other bakeries but liked this one. The coffee cake was Devine! I love cinnamon so was excited there was a lot of cinnamon in it. Now, I got a whoopie pie expecting it to be too sweet. Started eating it before I got out of the parking lot and almost went back for more but I had other treats to eat. Thank goodness I don't live nearby! I will be making the drive many more times though! Excellent experience!“
“Was a good experience going into this location. We got to sample some of the cookies and they were pretty good. Don’t expect a lot of these cookies to have frosting. They are not big in size and they come in bags of multiples as you cannot just buy one. If you like cookies and have a sweet tooth, I would say you should try these. The employees were nice. Would probably go back and recommend.“
“Didn’t know it was inside the gas station but they still have a very nice sitting area inside and the atmosphere is nice to sit and eat. The food is obviously amazing. The coffee is great! George who was serving me was such a great employee. They are lucky to have him. He set me up perfectly for a breakfast get together I was having. Will be coming back.“
“I cannot sing enough praise for RISE Bakery! The team made the most beautiful -- and delicious -- smash cake and two dozen cupcakes for my daughter's first birthday. The whole experience was wonderful. They responded to my online inquiry quickly, helped give me ideas based on the theme (an Alice in Onederland party), and delivered the cake and cupcakes an hour before the party started. They even set the cake and cupcakes out for me, and put in the first birthday candle! So many people remarked on how beautiful and perfect the treats were, and how good they all tasted too. I can't wait to use RISE again!“
“Very busy and yet the service was still attentive and friendly. The biscuits are huge, buttery and soft. The Jalepeno pimento cheese has a nice background flavor (reminded me of Old Bay), and was not too spicy. I added the pimento cheese to the grits.... Heaven!! I thought I knew how to cook grits....time to up my game. Callie's has true Southern Grits. So creamy and delicious!!“

“Probably one of the best Auntie Anne’s we’ve been to in terms of friendliness and awesome customer service. The taste of the food is a given… it’s good but, some other locations we’ve been to seem like your inconveniencing them by buying their food. Not this though.“
“While I wish they had reservations since the wait was an hour and 45 minutes, it was well worth the wait. The appetizers came out fast and were a good size for a group. The entrees were amazing and the drinks were delicious! Great way to start out a day of shopping.“
