“We finished a five day trip to Greenville by having dinner at Soby's. It was packed on a Friday night serving up their "reimagined" Southern Fare. Ordinarily, I would dive in and tell you about all the great food, instead I want to give props to the two line cooks working the Grill and Sautée stations in the kitchen. Our table on the second level looked right down the back (cooking) line. If you've watched The Bear television series you get to see a dramatized version of how a commercial kitchen operates. At Soby's we saw these two guys in action. A nine-steak order at four different temps, no problem. They mowed through an average of 9-10 tickets on the "rail" all night with God knows how many orders per ticket. Great job. Great job indeed! We started our dinner with the Mussles Mariniere sautéed in a bacon, leeks, Manzanilla sherry, cream. So good. I wish the chef would serve four pieces of toast with the dish so you could soak up more of the sauce. I had to try the She Crab Soup, as it is one of my favorites, and Soby's version with aged sherry bowled me over. For our entrees, our server suggested a combination of half portions of their Shrimp and Grits and Crab Cakes. Apparently my wife is not the only one who couldn't decide between the two, and thus a special was born. The crab cakes had a sweet corn maque choux and were served with haricots verts and a mashed potatoes, remoulade. From words on a menu to executed perfection it was a perfect blend of flavors. The shrimp and grits were good, not the best we have ever had, but again perfectly prepared. My entrée was the Braised Beef Short Rib served with mashed potatoes and a Black Garlic Molasses Jus. I watched my dudes on the line make over 20 of these before mine arrived at the table. Fork-tender, the meat had a great depth of flavor from its long journey of preparation. I ate every bite, OK except for the payback bites to my wife for sampling her special. We finished dinner with a piece of their Limoncello Cheese cake followed espressos and Ameretto. Our waitress was perfect all evening. She had a very busy section, but kept the coursing of dinner moving in a relaxed pace. We never felt rushed. Before I end, a word about wine at Soby's. When you arrive at the table, you are given a wine tome. Not a sheet of paper or a wine list you are used to seeing in most establishments. This was a tomb, bound in a metal cover. Soby's owner is a vinophile and has amassed over 2500 wines on the list, that is always changing as choices are enjoyed and more added. It really is quite a stunning list. So get you some Soby's if you're in town. It was a wonderful experience. You too can enjoy food bliss“

“The ribs here are insanely delicious. I had the dry rub as recommended by Kimberly, who was incredible to us. She had great recommendations for food and beer and was very hard working and attentive to all the customers including us. I have not been in town in a few years and never went to Sticky Fingers before, but I will be sure to find an excuse to come here for Kimberly and also for those ribs.“

“Upon entering, the atmosphere was very inviting. After placing my order, they asked me, "What's the weirdest thing you've done in the rain?" It was a cute and engaging touch, with the responses needing to be family-friendly. I ordered the "Retro" and the bottomless coffee. When my food was ready, they called out the weirdest thing to do in the rain. Though the food was delicious, it was not very hot, coming out at best room temperature. I would have loved it if the meal had been heated up or even just served warm. For this I give them 3 and hope on my next visit the food will be a little warmer than cool.“

“OMG!!! I couldn't even get a picture that food was so good! The biscuits! Homemade! The fish! Fried so so good!! The grits, The GRITS, i was scrapping my plate sopping up grits with my biscuits. Yes Five Star southern cooking!!! That was just my plate. My husband had sausage patties, split sausage link and the eggs!!! Our table was so quiet except for forks from plate to mouth. No phone, no nothing but good eats! Oh yeah they had applebutter! I love applebutter and they had molasses and honey for condiments. It was very very good. Yes five stars from me! We will be back to try lunch and or dinner but breakfast was on point!“

“Great Southern food! Finally a place we can go to eat REAL food ... not the "foodie" cuisine. Took us awhile to discover this place but now we go once a week!
Menu changes daily, but in minor ways.
Great veggies, delicious desserts, chicken -so many different way, chicken livers yum, ham, etc.
Love this place!!!
Wheelchair accessibility: Yes!“
“Have used Smokin Chips a couple of times. Never disappoints! Best BBQ in town! Delicious! Highly recommend!“
“Nice Sunday brunch outdoors. Attentive staff. Food was acceptable but not creatively prepared. Prompt in serving custom omelet and waffle. Would have been nice to include one glass of juice with the meal. At least a buffet allows some options for vegetarians. Will probably go on another trip to Greenville.“

“My wife, mother in law, stepdaughter and a few of her family came out to celebrate my stepdaughter's birthday on 7-28. A special thanks to Jay for singing Happy Birthday to my stepdaughter. They enjoyed everything from the Red Velvet Chicken and Waffles to the Ox tails. Thanks Grey Moon for providing my wife and stepdaughter and family with an awesome experience.“

“This is a classic Golden Corral fortunately one of the cleaner ones I have eat at. The staff was very energetic and lively. Bright smiles were worn despite the labours nature of their work. The food was well prepared, the selection vast. What more can you ask for in an all you can eat buffet?
Vegetarian options: There is an expensive salad bar that allows you to get creative and add whatever it is you desire.
Kid-friendliness: there are crane games, gumball machines, and other small attraction or arcade style machines for children to enjoy. There is also a large selection of deserts available although admittedly so, I too enjoy the desert just as much as the young ones do.
Wheelchair accessibility: This restaurant is highly accessible for wheelchairs and for strollers which is convenient if you have small children.“

“The service was marvelous! The waiter was always on time. The old style brick made me feel cozy. The food was remarkable! Fresh, hot, and tasty to the last bite. The croissant with the magical melted honey butter was amazing! I pushed through a full belly and ate as much as I could of the delicious skillet cookie topped with ice cream.“

“If I could give more stars, I would! Our waitress, Andie, was so nice and attentive. We were sitting outside, and my husband briefly mentioned that he was a little uncomfortable in the chair. Within minutes, the manager, Mike, surprised us by bringing 2 different chairs for us. Amazing service! The food and drinks were exceptional! We will definitely frequent Sassafras in the future.“
