“Absolutely love this new cafe!!. It is in such a great location on the way to Kiawah Island. To Go options, smoothies, brunch options, coffee, alcohol, picnic options, indoor sit down dining, and outdoor air down dining options. Atmosphere is super fresh, clean, everyone is so friendly and kind. We were a bit nervous stopping at a new place but absolutely fell in love. We also have two little boys and we did not feel uncomfortable or a nuisance. We often times run into that feeling when eating but that was not the case. They also had a refrigerator full of all local business products from local alcohol to local bagels to local ice cream. We will be definitely stopping by next time we go to Kiawah and also we will be bringing all of our local friends. Such a nice warm welcome change when it comes to places to eat in the Kiawah area.”

“My partner stopped in and got me a beverage to help me feel better. He said the staff explained every beverage and were so helpful getting the best drink for the given situation. The beverage is not only delicious but healthy and hydrating. When you have an immunity crisis and need a boost I highly suggest stopping in and grabbing a tropical detox tea with an immunity supplement shot. It is so refreshing! I'm feeling better all ready! The crab cake wasn't bad but I personally don't think it's worth that price. Great service, location, and food overall!”

“This is an amazing restaurant! The atmosphere and service is top notch and the chef is amazing. We had the pimento chitin start followed by the fried chicken with cheese Mac and collard greens and finished it off with banana pudding. Simple dishes but to prepare them correctly takes great talent, to prepare them the way they did takes great talent. My compliments to the chef!!!”

“Sports bars aren’t my typical environment of choice because I don’t drink and I don’t watch sports. I do like watching people in new environments, though. I was craving a steak salad, and having recently moved back to Johns Island, I wanted to try somewhere new. I saw The Natural pop up in my search results and decided I’d give it a try.

The salad was fresh and delicious with crisp greens, juicy tomatoes, and hot yet tender steak. I wish I’d taken a photo then, but I ate it probably too quickly. I decided to drink one of their delta 9 seltzers and definitely felt its effects a little too long for my comfort. I was grateful that the waitress didn’t hurry me to leave once I finished my food.

Still feeling the effects heavily, I told the host I didn’t feel comfortable driving yet, so I moved to a bar hightop table. I was grateful that I could sit here until I felt sober enough to go home. I’m not sure how long I was there for, but definitely nearing 2-3 hours. It gave me a chance to capture my surroundings and observations. Thought I would share here since I took advantage of sitting somewhere for so long.”

“We adored this place! We accidentally found the downtown Charleston location during our stay there at a close AirBNB! We visited 3 times in our 2.5 days there. Then, we passed by the John’s Island location on our way to Kiawah and decided to make the 25 min drive the next morning for our coffee and pop tart fix! Great coffee, service, pastries, toasts and local drink and food finds!”

“Went last night with my GF to grab some food. We were seated right away by a guy that looks like he could have been the manager? Jarred was our server and he was great. Super nice and knew about the beers on the menu and made some recommendations. He was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed.

We have been numerous times since open and will continue to go back.”

“First time visiting today and Co-Op was slammed with customers given the holiday. Staff was working really hard to get orders out. Appreciated them being up front about the wait time and our food came out within that window. Sandwiches were delicious (egg salad and Cali turkey). Enjoyed the Frozé as well. I can see why it's a popular place!”

“It was nearly freezing outside and they tried sitting us next to an open window, thankfully they were understanding and moved us to a different table. Our server was a little slower and less attentive than other servers at the tables around us, we had to wait several times for refills on our drinks. All of the food tasted great and everything but the soup was an appropriate temperature. When it is near freezing I want soup that warms me up from the inside, the she-crab soup did NOT do that. The soup was not hot at all, I'm pretty sure the rest of the food was hotter than the soup, it still tasted good but was a little disappointing.”

“We are not from the US and wanted to have a waffle house experience. This location was very clean, the service was fast and helpful and the food was yummy.

They have a great section for adults and kids with really good kids prices. They even gave our kids some little paper hats to wart that added to the experience.

Parking: There is a large parking lot right outside with plenty of spaces

Kid-friendliness: They had about 5 menu options for kids that were $6 with the option to add a drink for $1”

James Island to grab dinner there. The garlic cheese bread is out of this world, the pizza is good and I have loved every sandwich I have ever got here!”
