“Absolutely love Seabrook and the convenience of the Pelicans Nest! It’s so nice to have a restaurant and pool area nestled right next to the sea. My favorite part? Being able to order drinks + appetizers to take with you to sit by the pool. The downside is the price tag associated with almost anything at the Pelicans Nest! It’s good, but you’re going to be paying a service fee (tip) and additional club fees with every bill. So be prepared to pay when you go for a day at the pool!“

But our meals were ready exactly when they told us (20-25 minutes) and everything was correct!Husband had the filet and I had the crab cakes which were just how I like the.- very crabby and not full of breading and mix.Would definitely return. Seemed like a laid back environment great for watching a game.Kid-friendliness: Both kids enjoyed their meals- Mac n cheese and Chicken tenders. “This review is LONG overdue. My sister & I visited Charleston July 2023. The night we flew in from Seattle we had Chasing Sage for dinner - what a delight! From the atmosphere to the food to the incredible staff and chef, it was an amazing experience. My sister and I still randomly bring up our experience at Chasing Sage, and how delicious the food was. Honestly, we'll probably be back to SC and this place is a decent part of the reason why. “I could not write this review fast enough. We had the pleasure of having Eric as our server last night. What an incredible guy. He greeted us by name, went over the entire menu page by page, offered recommendations for food and drink. We did the chef’s experience tasting menu and it was incredible. Eric went over each course and explained how it was prepared. Our bill after some drinks and tip was a bit over $400 but truly the best money I have ever spent for food and experience. “I had Saturday brunch with my parents here while visiting Charleston. It was a lovely spot that felt very hip and had a cool vintage aesthetic to it. The food was amazing and tasted very fresh! We ordered the lamb burger, surfer delight, cauliflower wings, and a cocktail. I loved the cauliflower wings and the lamb burger came with sweet potato fries which were my favorite! The service was great!! Our waiter was so friendly and helpful with choosing dishes. We were also sat very quickly despite it being a Saturday and a busy crowd. “Do yourself a favor and eat here! I happened to locate Bearcat on a whim and my wife and I decided to eat here for our 1 year anniversary. From the food to the cocktails, there was not one item that we disliked. We started with the Grilled Oysters, Smoked Maitake Mushrooms & Duck Liver Toast. The oysters were perfectly cooked and had an incredible earthy/savory taste. The maitake mushrooms were tender with a hint of smoke & the duck liver toast was point blank the best I have ever had in terms of quality, texture and taste. We then moved on to the Hamachi Crudo, Crab Rice & Pork Belly. My wife could could not get enough of the Hamachi Crudo & Crab Rice with the uni hollandaise. The pork belly was perfectly cooked with a fantastic amount of fat cap that made it melt in your mouth. For cocktails, please do yourself a favor and order the "That's My Jam" as every sip will make you feel like you are biting into a PB&J (if you are into that thing). “This is a repeat from two years ago. Then, we stuck to drinks on the rooftop. This trip we did two separate visits with late lunch and drinks. I found the "Limeade" refreshing. It was not too sweet and had a nice balance of lime and bubbles. The crab soup was wonderful and the greens were tasty! Service both times was great.Wheelchair accessibility: With assistance through the narrow door, coming in is not too difficult. Once inside, it is accessible on first floor only. There, the floors are hardwood, and the tables are spaced such that navigating to the table should be easy enough. The building is a renovation. There is no elevator to the other two floors.“

“I have been a member of the Harbour Club for almost 15 years, at the old location and at the new location. It is a private club, but it has always been a great club and a great place for networking and having meetings and dinners with business associates, but the current location, staff, chef, and atmosphere is by far the best it has ever been. There is always a smile and a friendly greeting from the whole staff and the servers are great! The new chef has done a great job and recently upgraded the menus. Views from the club are outstanding, especially the sunset over the Ashley River. My wife and I have recently joined the wine club and really enjoy the wine tastings. They have live music on Fridays, special events throughout the year, kids activities and they support the community with their "Cocktails For a Cause" events. Whether you are looking for a place to do some work in quiet workspaces, attend a great happy hour, or want to network and have a place to take business associates, you should consider the Harbour Club.
