“What a delicious meal! Our whole dining experience was phenomenal. The food was out of this world and our server Joe was such a pleasure. He was so friendly, happy and knowledgeable about the menu. He made great recommendations for us. The seafood tower was so good and the Caesar salad was one of the best I’ve had! Our entrees were incredible, too…. I had the crab stuffed flounder and my husband had the mahi special. Even the kids Mac n cheese was amazing! The atmosphere is lovely. We sat outside on the patio and it was just such a pleasant dining experience. We will definitely be back if/when we visit Myrtle Beach again, and will recommend to any of our friends and family if they’re visiting Myrtle Beach. Thank you for a lovely dining experience!“

“It was OK, not sure it lived up to the praise everyone gives it. Our server, Jenny, was super nice, attentive, and knowledgable. The appetizers (she-crab soup and fried oysters) were outstanding, particularly the oysters which were perfectly fried and juicy. The main courses were the let-down. My wife's shrimp were overdone, my son's fish was heavily fried almost as dark as the table, and my scallops came out with the saddest rice pilaf I've ever seen...just a couple specs of dull vegetable in them. Maybe I should have gotten the vegetable side and it would have been a better pairing. 4 stars for the apps, server, historic atmosphere and view. I'd give it another shot but maybe stick to the fresh catch or oysters.“

“The food is clean, fresh, and delicious. The seafood is all obviously fresh and quality. The mac and cheese and bbq spare ribs are a can't miss. Dessert options are aplenty with special Greek treats like Baklava and honey donuts!

“We came as a big party for my husbands conference and it was absolutely amazing .I don’t know the servers name but this young man was amazing !! He knew what everyone ordered as he brought our food to the table of 20 with no questions the drinks came as ordered everything was perfect thank you for a wonderful evening we will definitely visit when we do our next beach vacation“

“We came to Myrtle Beach for a holiday getaway and wanted to experience local fare. This place had everything my family wanted: raw oysters, low country boil with crawfish too!, and of course fried seafood. The flavors were tasty, good spice but not too overpowering. Service was great with Nelly making sure we had bibs, refills and an enjoyable time! Definitely recommend for those wanting good local food and service!

“The shrimp was the best thing on the menu. The fish wasn’t that great, I have had better. The fries were fried in the same oil as the fish and you could taste it. I would be cautious if you thought about ordering the chicken fingers.The coleslaw was tasty, I wish they gave you more. The hush puppies were ok. I didn’t like the crab cake but my dad enjoyed it. I like that this place is inside of lakewood camping resort and you can eat almost right on the beach.“

“We’ve been here twice. We’ve had the honor of having the same server/bartender. The first time we sat outside and she was very attentive, despite us being the only table outside. Tonight we sat at the bar and got the same level of service and FOOD. The food is amazing!!!! Kyley is amazing and we hope she’s our server every time. We also are super picky. “I had a lovely experience this evening. We had a 7:45 reservation, arrived at 7:30 and were seated promptly. Things were a bit slow due to a malfunction in some kitchen equipment but things continued right along. The owner was absolutely amazing and we enjoyed our conversation with her about the restaurant and her background. Thanks for helping us enjoy a quick mommas weekend getaway !“

“We were staying at the Hilton Myrtle Beach and knew there was a boardwalk that connected the two sister hotels (Coastal Grill is in the Embassy Suites). The Sales Manager (Alan) for both hotels had recommended the new restaurant here (it was actually the Black Drum) but we ended up here when we walked in so we assumed this is where he sent us. No worries though as it was excellent. I had the Slap Burger which was one of the best burgers I have had out...the bacon on it was crispy! Be aware that the portions are huge...the club my friend ordered ended up feeding two people...she took half back to a coworker. Our waiter although soft spoken was very good and laughed at our stupid jokes. We will be back here next summer so I plan to try the Black Drum then...or maybe I will just go back here for another burger as it was so good!“
