“Loved this place, instantly felt welcomed like I had just walked into my aunts house and she was whipping up a hardy homestyle meal while catching me up on all the latest news/gossip.”
“Food was excellent. Service was superb. Wait was short for lunch rush. Kitchen got multiple custom orders correct. My family and I had a great time.Kid-friendliness: Kids were thrilled with the menu.”
“THIS PLACE knocks it out of the park every time! I’m out here annually in September and it’s my go-to shop almost every morning! The coffee is incredible and I don’t see them going anywhere anytime soon. Thank you!”
“Jem!!! Spices are SO much more fragrant and FRESH than the supermarket, and the prices are on-point or better. Found some spice blends too that I haven't been able to locate fresh for years. Go here instead of the grocery store for spices. Your home kitchen will never be the same.”
“Great dining experience!! The food was phenomenal and loved that they used local ingredients!! The service is always great a timely! If you love all things, Godzilla, this is definitely a place to see!!”
“The best Nepali restaurant!!! Food is PERFECTION. Even better than restaurants back in Nepal (not even kidding).Best atmosphere. Love the ambiance. Everyone is super nice. MUST VISIT!!”
“Dakota point is a favorite of mine. The location is great and the bartenders are very friendly. They have a huge selection of beer. Great place to unwind and meet new people. Thank you for running a clean honest business in the black hills!”
“I had the pleasure of receiving coffee shipped from South Dakota to where I live in California, and I am loving every sip. Even when they arrived, the fragrance coming from the package was intoxicating. So far I have gotten to try Dakota (Breakfast Blend) and Papua New Guinea, and I love how smooth and delicious both of them are—I use a french press and have tried both kinds in different ways (hot/iced, black/with heavy cream). My favorite way of having Dakota is hot with a splash of heavy cream. For Papua New Guinea, I love it for a pick-me-up in the early afternoon, black and iced. I have been drooling over the Dakota blend every morning. These two are some of the smoothest coffees I have ever tried, and I am looking forward to trying others. I also have the Canyon Gold blend to try very soon (but saving opening it for later so I can further savor Dakota and Papua New Guinea). Will be buying some more Dark Canyon for my coffee-loving in-laws to try this Christmas as well. I have already shared a smidge of my Dakota coffee with my sister so she can try it (too good not to share!). Also, a shout-out to Richelle for her excellent and kind customer service and for suggesting the initial coffees I got to try! Can’t get enough of them, lol. Thank you! ☺️✨”
“TLDR: Please spend your money at this business. I have repeatedly found nothing but amazing service, and a wonderful array of incredibly filling, comforting dishes here. Best restaurant in rapid city for Indian-Nepalese food HANDS DOWN. If I had the means I would go here daily. Also, if you are just thinking of getting some to go, they offer take out, and have always been fast, and the food is fresh and wonderfully packaged. Take a naan basket home with you!The food at everest cuisine is hands-down the most authentic, mouth-watering-ly tasty food in all of rapid city. Me and my girlfriend regularly visit everest at least once a month - that is, on months where we dont go very often. REGARDLESS, this restaurant is absolutely wonderful. The lady who works there is incredibly friendly, and always greets us when we go, and its always a wonderful experience. I love to explore outside of my comfort zone occasionally when I am eating indian food, and Everest has NEVER dissapointed me.Here are a few of my personal must-haves:Chicken Makhani (butter chicken)Chicken Tikka MasalaGarlic Cheese NaanTandoori Chicken (I enjoy bone-in, but boneless is alsowonderful. Bunch of absolutely mind-meltingly delish veggiestossed in some absolutely wonderful spices, served sizzling. Ireccomend. ASK FOR RAITA alongside it. Trust me, itswonderful.)Onion KulchaAny Samosa. Samosa Chat is delish too, its served cold, but itis refreshing, and FULL of flavor. Lots of yogurt, mint sauce (itworks wonderfully), and tamarind. Oh, and this AMAZING dustof their "signature" seasoning. Im not sure what it is for sure, but they dust it on their lamb samosa, as well as their chickenpakoda. I wish I had the recipe man.....Kid-friendliness: Taking kids out for Indian food? Sounds like a recipe for a meltdown, right? No. Enter Everest Cuisine, stage left. Chicken Pakoda? Juicy chicken, breaded in a wonderful crispy chickpea batter. Best chicken nugget on earth. Your kids will love this stuff I PROMISE you. They also have something called "chicken meatball lollipop". Sound a bit strange? WRONG. Its literally super flavorful delicious chicken on a stick. You cannot go wrong. Your picky eaters won't even notice they've left their comfort zone. What kid would say no to "chicken meatball lollipop".”
“Love this place! I've only ever gotten the Chai Yoguccino and the Matcha Yoguccino, but both are delicious. I'm never disappointed. Also, service is quick and the girls at the window are always so nice!”
“Great atmosphere with a wide selection of brews; not only that but they have great salads and soft pub pretzels. Most of the pizzas are worth trying out also, personally I like the 10-75 (the ghost pepper/habanero) and the Main Street (the "standard" pepperoni).”
“Finally, found a great Indian restaurant in the states. The food was absolutely delicious. South Dakota really delivers, so glad I moved here. This experience made my day, definitely be back for more.”
“The elderly gentleman who owns the fort is a hoot. He showed us how to make a rope and how to press a penny. He is so funny. When we went to the dinner show, there were about 500 people. They had the meals stations down to a science. The whole group was fed within twenty minutes. The show was a little bit of all types of genres- 30’s country music to 90’s rock. A great show. It is well worth going.”
“This is a very friendly spot right in the heart of Rapid City, with a surprisingly broad selection of wines. We loved it so much we went twice in a three day trip. The prices are reasonable and the service is friendly as well.”

“First time being here and came on a Sunday night. My husband and I had an impromptu date night while waiting for the other 3 that were on vacation with us to do their own thing. We had a fantastic time! I 100% recommend this place. We didn't have any wine, but the guy working (owner?) was super knowledgeable and was all around a really cool guy to periodically b.s with. The food was so delicious (Jeff's bruschetta and Greek flatbread). The Edison bulbs and the music created a great atmosphere. If my husband and I didn't live on the west side of the state, we'd be a regulars.”

“After a day of experiencing the Buffalo Roundup at Custer State Park, we headed back to where we were staying in Rapid City. We were quite famished, and happened upon Shipwrecks Bar and Grill so we decided to stop to get a couple beers and a bite to eat. My husband had a cheeseburger with fries and I had fish and chips. We both decided on Buffalo Snot oatmeal stout by Mount Rushmore Brewing Company. The food and the beers were good. Nancy, the owner, brought us our food and chatted with us for a little while (very pleasant - thank you for the explanation on the restaurant name!) Overall, we had a decent restaurant experience. Thank you all at Shipwrecks!”
“It's a great atmosphere for family dinners. Depending on the night, good music, I enjoyed the times dancing and wetting my thirst with a fine selection of brews. On the plus side you could sneak away to this little hideaway and stay at The Rockerville bnb,a romantic setting where you can get lost in the woods and your partner. Make sure it's your husband not your affair , the beauty will make you forget to sign fake names. lol enjoy”
