“I’ve been in search of a good health food store in the area since moving here and I’ve officially found it! Columbia Health Foods is a hidden gem. They’re very knowledgeable of their products as well as extremely helpful. I’m constantly on the lookout for stores that carry EWG (Environmental Working Group) certified products. They offered brands I haven’t been able to find anywhere else and even offered to order specific products for their store to provide what customers are needing. They have a wide selection of bath/body supplies, supplements, vitamins, teas, probiotics/prebiotics, and even a few grocery/fresh produce items. I was very pleased and can’t wait to visit again!”

“I went to visit a friend at work and expected to go to lunch with him. He went home instead, so I came here alone.

It's a really neat little building, dining on two levels with a bar on the top floor. It's counter service and they give you a number and you grab a table.

I had the Patty Melt with Sweet and Spicy Crispy Brussels and everything was Dynamite. The burger was juicy, the Brussels were soft with a little bite and the sauce was delicious.

I reached out to door dash and received a 24-48 wait on resolution. I contacted Cabin Coffee to see if the order had even been picked up. The gentleman advised me that it had in fact, been picked up and that he would reach out to door dash. He contacted me back and assured me that HE would make this right. He certainly did! “Although the staff was so welcoming and sweet, their idea of “smoked” chicken is nothing like I thought it would be. When I see smoked, my understanding is that it was in a smoker at some point, and pulled from the bone. It tasted like a Walmart Rotisserie chicken pulled from the bone. Not at all what I expected.”

“Note: this was at the Donelson store: Just had my first and last visit here. Asked if there was any more of the Tennessee Strawberries and Cream as the tub was quite low - didn't appear to be enough for one scoop, even, and the young man behind the counter simply said, "No." I mean, I got my question answered, but he could have offered what was left to me in a cup for free if I bought another scoop of something else, for instance, or let me know when they would have more, or talked about the dairy-free version with chocolate chips, or...SOMEthing!! He just stood there and looked around, without trying to tell me about the products or anything. So, speaking of products, maybe he didn't, because there wasn't much to talk about. I settled on the mint chocolate chip and vanilla, both of which were just awful. You can tell the ice cream is made with a large amount of gums and emulsifiers, because it's very gummy and stringy. The mint chocolate chip was bitter, and not very minty. The vanilla was overly sweet and tasted like caramel, which I don't like, and was crunchy, as though the ice had solidified because it wasn't kept churning while freezing. It had a "slushy" consistency. Lastly, the vanilla had bits of some other flavor in it. Strawberry? Caramel? It was hard to tell - just darker sections of ice cream throughout. As I said - the whole experience was quite unpleasant, and I won't be back. Ever.”

“Betty's Parkway Restaurant has been around since 1986…now being run by her son Tim Duncan. The location is pretty cool, high above the Duck River with a wonderful view. My server Christy got me set up with beverages while I looked over the menu. I was not hungry enough for the "Best Steak in Maury County, TN" meal so I went for some Chili and a Steak Sandwich with grilled onions, mushrooms & Swiss. The chili comes out in a huge bowl so it is a meal in itself so some of it came home with me. This is a chili with beans and is chock full of ground beef and beans in a rich (but mild) sauce. The chili is good but it is a bit bland and there is no kick, spice, or heat to the dish. The steak sandwich meat is ribeye and according to Christy is marinated in a special sauce. The meat was cooked as requested and the steak was good and the overall flavor with the hoagie bun, onions, mushrooms, and Au-jus was very good. Overall a nice lunch in a cool atmosphere and the service was great. Loved all of the racing memorabilia from Tim Duncan and now his sons…you can see they are proud of their accomplishments.
