“We had excellent service. We were seated immediately, our order was taken quickly, and we received our food within 10 minutes of ordering. The food was well prepared, but a little bland. And I don't mean not being spicy. Mexican food doesn't have to be spicy to be good. This just didn't seem to have enough seasoning of any kind. I salted it and that helped some.“
“The service before we even order was amazing. The staff were all nice throughout the whole time me and my family were ordering. The food was prepared fast, and the food was to die for. I don't think me and my family will not be getting tacos anywhere else.“
“The Taco Bell in Elizabethton is always the best. Mainly because of the lady manager (works evenings). I'm not sure her name, but she is always friendly & accommodating. We get a weird order & she always remembers us. She makes sure it is done correctly, and without issue. She is just great!“
“I always, always, always enjoy the grub at White Duck Taco.If I could suggest one thing to any newcomer... try the tacos as they have crafted them on the menu..The combination of ingredients may be so strange to you, but trust the experts.. The combination of those seemingly random ingredients are about to take your taste buds on a ride that no other taco has before..“
“When I moved from California to Tennessee I thought I'd left behind street tacos and entered the land of ladeling nacho cheese on everything and calling it "authentic." Then I found La Perla! Soft corn tortillas, cilantro and onions on top of asada, pollo, or carnitas. Lengua and menudo if that's your thing. Almost every time I eat here I'm one of the only white faces in the room. If you want fancy tables and your tacos with a hard shell, tomatoes, and cheese, go someplace else. For the real thing, La Perla is the place to go.“
“This is my favorite place to eat in town! Owners are so kind and their food is so amazing that it creates serious cravings for me and my fiancée. We always say that when we get married we are going to get them to cater our wedding! the food is that WONDERFUL!!!Kid-friendliness: kids are most welcomeParking: plenty of parking behind building number 12“
“The food is very good! The cheese they use on the tacos is the BOMB! Normally, I would get the dinner for 2, which consist of 2 tacos, 2 burritos and 2 enchiladas, but they took that off the menu. Otherwise, it is a great restaurant to eat at.“
“The taco’s were so delicious. The shrimp taco by far is the best. Everything was well seasoned and plentiful. The beans were dry and gummy- didn’t like them. Staff is very friendly and service is excellent. Parking was a little difficult but great location if you are downtown.“
“Since moving to Johnson City I have been on a good Mexican restaurant search. I had actually kind of reserved myself to the fact that I wasn't going to find a really good one in the area, and then we tried El Ranchito randomly one day and it was amazing!! We have gone back 4 more times and ordered something different everytime and have loved our meals every time! There is a long & generous happy hour, I think from 4-8, with really low prices on beer & margaritas and the food is all pretty low priced as well. It has been pretty slow each time we have gone in there so I worry how they are going to do long term but this is hands down the best Mexican I've had in the tri-cities! We have had the same woman waitress each time and she is very sweet & attentive. Go and try it out!“
“The only thing I could say that could be negative is that their pricing varies. It seems to always be a different price. Me and my husband always get the same thing (I know boring) but it’s never been the same price. We don’t eat there as much as we did because the prices have went up. But their food truly is amazing, we only get the same thing now because we have ate there so much that we found what we love!! I recommend at least giving them a try.Vegetarian options: It’s more pescatarian than vegetarian.“
