“The Captain D's in Elizabethton, Tennessee is great. The food is always served hot and fresh. The staff are always super friendly and they always make sure that you have the correct order and that you have all of the condiments that you need for your food. One of the best restaurants in town. Also, the lady that was working the drive thru window was super nice and really a sweetheart. I wish that most folks were this nice.“
“Me and my littles went here on my day off. They have good food it was alittle busy but not too bad. The servers were okay could be a little more welcoming but not everyone is cheery all the time I suppose. Some kind person paid for our meal and that was such a blessing so thankyou.“
“I am not a fan of Applebee's, but it was the only sit down restaurant open in Elizabethton after my granddaughter's drama class revue. The restaurant was very crowded, but we were seated quickly. It took several minutes before we were acknowledged by our server, but again, the place was hoppin'. I had an Asian Chicken salad and it was delicious. My mother declared her burger one of the best. My husband said his ribs were just ok. Our server was a little scattered and even though she came by our table several times, she always forgot to bring us our requests - napkins and drinks refills. Overall the experience was not bad and I would order that salad again in a heartbeat.“
“First time eating at the cafe. We were surprised at the crowd. Not too many but enough to let you know it’s good. My wife and I really enjoyed our lunch. Excellent food, excellent service. Room is a bit noisy and some attention could be paid to noise abatement but the overall experience was wonderful. A defiant must try.“

“Johnson city at its finest. Mid city grill is hands down the best around with a chill relaxing atmosphere, BYOB, and a great menu. If your a vegan then you'll love this place. If your not a vegan you'll love this place. Try it you want be disappointed.“
“It's a wonderful place for a quick stop for takeout, or a good place to sit down at alone to get some peace and quiet, or a nice place to go with your family at one of their inside or outside tables and have wonderful conversation with the staff, the locals, and especially your family. They are quick, yet thorough. The BBQ pulled pork or beef is delicious, and my favorite dish is that with their cheddar rounds! They DO CLOSE FAIRLY EARLY, but their breakfasts are even more delicious than their lunches, because they have true homemade, hand-made biscuits AND gravy!!!“

So if you are from the city, then I can not give this spot 5 stars for you. But if you are from the country, this is a 5 star spot. Grab a drink from the cooler, go to the counter to place your order and have a seat. We stopped in for dollar hot dog day.Parking: We found parking in front and walked right in. Would be easy access for a wheelchair.“

“Food is great! However to have a restaurant so cold your shivering while eating is not acceptable. We asked waitress multiple times for heat and was told they aren’t allowed to adjust it. Then when I was paying was asked “how was everything?” I said it woulda been great with some heat in the building! Winter months ppl won’t return if it’s warmer outside in 40 degrees vs inside the building.Turn on/up the heat so customers can enjoy the food they are paying for“
“First of all, be informed that they do not serve alcohol. Parking was easy. The staff was friendly and helpful; 5 star service. A full rack of ribs was thoroughly enjoyed along with some sweet tea. Carolina Pulled Pork sandwich was very good too. The iconic firetruck in the lobby was really cool and it's my understanding is still used for parades, etc. I don't think they take reservations so you may have to wait a bit. Price point was super good too!“
“As someone who isn't from Tennessee, and joined the bar scene not long after moving out here in 2019, Numans has always been the best bar I have been to. The staff are so friendly, the food hits the spot ALWAYS, and the drinks are phenomenal. Feels like we're all family when walking in and the employees definitely help that.“
“My first visit. I was kinda impressed. It's like a little store with a restaurant in it. I got take out. I didn't have to wait very long that was a plus. They have a daily special so it kinda help me to decide what to get. I thought the soup beans need more salt but that wasn't a big deal. I will definitely go back.“
