“This place is pretty amazing. The pizza is excellent, being stone baked and authentic. The crust is exactly what you would expect, soft and doughy in the middle and crunchy and crispy on the outside. The decor and theme is 1960s-70s hippy and playful. The service was great, the wait staff was fun, friendly and attentive. Being from Chicago, my wife and I love the southern hospitality. Everyone here is super nice and always in a good mood. The beer was cold and fresh. Highly recommended! Drop in here if you are in the area! ??“

“Amazing first visit for hubby and mine anniversary on 5/28/22. Our server Konnor was wonderful and friendly, never felt ignored even though they were busy. Escargot was the best we’d ever had. Truffle fries to die for. Duo of duck and trout almandine fantastic entrees. Make sure to save room for dessert! Wonderful crème brûlée for myself and profiteroles for hubby (I did not try since am GF). Cocktails also delish although the whiskey sour could use some work/sprucing up. Can’t wait to return!!“

“Absolutely amazing experience. We visit the area often as my parents live nearby. This was one of the best meals we’ve had! Michael, our server was fantastic. Attentive but not overbearing. We enjoyed some appetizers (Brussels) and the artichoke dip. We then split the schnitzel. Everything was seriously perfection. Let’s not even talk about the warm crusty bread with whipped sweet butter. Could have eaten just that and been completely satisfied! Then our waiter asked if we wanted desert. We were so full but had to at least look. Could not pass up the crème brûlée chocolate cheesecake. oh-emm-geeee! Also the drinks we enjoyed—slushy concord colado and the cold fashioned. They were spectacular! We will be back before we head home and will be dreaming of this place until our next visit! (Be sure to check out their happy hour specials! “Not enough good things to say about Brown Bag! Honestly I can't understand some of the non-5 star reviews that say the food is just "ok." Brown Bag's food is excellent tasting AND healthy! Not to mention they are insanely generous with the Brown Bag Blessing program. To top it off, they give a crazy generous military discount. I've also had the catering several times and the food is great. Give it a try in restaurant or for catering and you won't be disappointed.“

I had the road beef with cheddar croissant sandwich and it was a generous, moist stack of roast beef with plenty of cheddar - flavorful and hit the spot.The apple cake is like an apple cinnamon coffee cake mixed with lots of nuts. Highly recommend eating this with their spiced tea.My only callout is that the spiced tea tastes more like a mulled cider (spiced and almost as sweet as apple cider) than a normal traditional spiced tea. Delicious, and pairs well with the cake - but don’t go in expected the sweetness to be balanced by the astringency of black tea!“
