“Our little community needed a place like this. My friends and family have been here several times. Today’s review comes after stopping in for their Sunday brunch. Our table sampled pretty much everything on the menu except for the bacon. The sausage gravy-to-biscuit ratio was perfect. The gravy wasn’t too peppery. Hashbrowns were good and had good flavor. Over easy eggs and scrambled eggs were cooked to order. Cinnamon rolls were excellent. We had mimosas and a bloody mary and no complaints there either. The staff is always friendly. Such a great atmosphere. To the owners…So glad you’re here! Great job! Happy New Year!“
“Strolling in here to get your smoked bbq feels like a trip into the past like going into an old country store. This family run business has been providing locals and visitors a like good old smoky bbq for years! Eat in or take it with you this is a solid choice for a delicious meal. Some of our favorites are the chicken platter on the bone, shredded pork, great turnip greens, green beans, out of this world corn cakes, iced tea and a local ladies famous homemade desserts including chess, chocolate chess and sublime banana pudding! Now that’s a meal!“
“This is my favorite diner of all time. My fiancé and I were in town visiting family to move back into the area and stumbled on this place. AMAZING fried chicken. I’m talking flashbacks to my grandma’s homemade chicken tenders. Really good prices too. Servers were SO sweet. Can’t wait to come back when we move in a couple months!“
“The Prime Rib was probably the best I’ve ever had in my life. Perfectly seasoned and perfectly tender. The atmosphere is super laid back and the bartenders are so friendly and kind. It’s about 30 minutes from downtown Nashville, but I promise you it’s worth it!“
“Willie Mae’s has always been famous for their outstanding beef brisket! We arrived between lunch and dinner so they had sold out of their beef brisket that had been prepared especially for their lunch. They were then preparing their brisket for their evening customers. So we didn’t have a chance to try it. They do have all the usual items you would associate with bbq so we ordered the pick 3 plate and choose three types of bbq to sample. The pork spare ribs stood out, the chicken and pulled pork were on the dry side but probably would have been perfect for lunch. They even offer a freshly pulled chicken sandwich if you prefer. The potato salad was tasty but the green beans were too salty. They have six different bbq sauces which I found amazing and fun to try. We finished with the best banana pudding we’ve had in a long time. The folks who work here were great. We were so happy to see them back open. I can’t wait to comeback and try their beef brisket.“
“Today was the 3rd time our congregation (Orlinda church of Christ) has used The Feed Meal to cater an event. They DO NOT disappoint! James & Jen do a fabulous job. Each meal had different types of food and each was equally delicious! Thank you James & Jen for another job well done!“
“Great country home style breakfast. We ordered the #1 plates - one fried chicken and the other tenderloin. Both were good. You have 3 options of gravy for the biscuits and we enjoyed the tomato as well as the brown gravy with sausage. We preferred the potato triangles over the home fries. The scrambled eggs were pretty good.Plenty of seating inside. Would definitely try again but next time I want to check out the BBQ ribs at lunch.Hard to beat for $9.“
“The staff is so nice and friendly. The sweet tea is amazing. Sweet but not too sweet and a great tea taste. Mac n cheese is good and creamy. The pulled pork was amazing especially with the vinegar!! When we come back this way, we will definitely be back!!! We are a family of 6 which is very hard to please everyone and this place did it!!! Great job!!!“
“A staple in Springfield, Tennessee that spans over multiple generations!!!! Not only do the locals frequent, but people come from all around, and if anyone visits once, they always return! Great family atmosphere and the food is delicious!!!!!“

“The food was perfectly prepared, and very tasteful. I had a brisket sandwich, Cole slaw and potato salad. The service was very good and I felt well cared for. The walls painted red and covered with interesting pictures and other things. A great place for a family lunch or dinner with good prices . I will be back again soon.Parking: Unlimited parking area, part of the shopping center.“
“Great steakhouse. The steak was cooked perfectly and my hostess was amazing. She never let me sweet tea get empty the entire time I was there. The chocolate pudding was enormous. I was warned and she was right. It's a family sharer for sure!“
