Friend and I went with the special. The lobster tail might have seen a minute cooking that it didn't need. It was good, just not perfect. The crab legs and shrimp were perfect. The wait staff was proficient. I've heard the one in Memphis is better. I've never been to that one. I go other places when I'm in Memphis. This one in Jackson is good and others must agree because the parking lot is always full when I'm around. I'll continue to come here when I'm in town and enjoy it every time.”

“There are so many great things I can say about this restaurant that I’m sure I’ll leave something out! The family that owns it are genuinely kind and delightful people. The pho has been wonderful every time. Their spring rolls are top notch. The sandwiches are unlike anything else in the area, and are absolutely wonderful. Their house chili oil is as good as any that I’ve had anywhere, and the teas we’ve tried have all been delicious as well. Like many of our family owned restaurants in the area, Pho Viet has quality and freshness that can’t be matched by the chains. If you’re on the fence give it and try, I’m confident you will be satisfied.”

“I had a lovely conversation with the owner before my friend arrived about old traditions in her culture and I shared some of mine. When my friend did arrive, I started off with a kumquat tea and Bahn Mi sandwich. Both, but ESPECIALLY the Bahn Mi, were so yummy that I could've had 2 more! 👏🏻😋 I finished my visit off with an oolong milk tea with custard jelly, and it was incredible. We had a great time and all of the girls there were so sweet! We will definitely make this a regular hangout spot!”

It's good ol' southern cooking for sure, but it's low in the flavors and seasonings department in my opinion; however, I do understand why given it's typical patronage. “Our go-to place for barbecue and fixings, vegetables, value, and service. Just a bit west of Jackson on Hwy. 70. Has daily specials and lots of food for the money. We especially like the pulled barbecue, cabbage, green beans, stir fried vegetables cooked in olive oil, cornbread, and pecan pie. We have not come close to eating everything that is available.”

All they didnt eat they took back with them. I told a friend about Diddys and they got plates from there on 05/10/2024 and said everything was delicious. What a great dining experience.”

“I eat at Hub City Deli pretty often. And when I tell you that this is the closest home-made veggie soup to my 77 year old mother's, it is. It is so nice to come to a place where I know every slice of meat was prepared in house, every ingredient is always fresh, the staff is always friendly. I get excited to see just exactly how my pickle spear will taste every time. They're made in house and always have the same general taste but each usually tastes a little different from the last. Your desserts are dangerous because they're so good!

“New to town and wanted something fresh for lunch and found this place scrolling around on Google maps. My group tried 3 of their sandwiches and everyone really enjoyed them. Box lunch is a deal that comes with your sandwhich, choice of a side (we did potato and mac salad, potato was the fave), a drink, and a large homemade cookie. Cookies were amazing! Price was 11.50 per box lunch at the time of this review, very reasonable for the quantity and quality of food you get. Also, the ladies behind the counter were nice as can be, new lunch spot for sure!”

“I was on a journey from Columbus, Ohio to Houston, Texas and it took me through Jackson Tennessee. I am a coffee snob. I used to roast coffee beans.

I was not happy that the coffee shop was not a standalone building but lost in some university somewhere. However, it was pretty easy to find because the coffee shop was on the sign out front. And the coffee shop was in the front of the building, inside of course. The building is the first magnificent building you see as you enter the campus.

I was excited that I had beat the rush because everyone was in class. I asked the barista what was on drip today. I am a drip coffee drinker. He seemed very reluctant to answer my question, but finally he answered that it was Colombian and that it was medium roast. (Insert eye roll here) “Medium roast?” Apparently no one does light or light to medium roast.

Because of his response, I only ordered a small. As I sipped on my coffee on my way back to interstate 40, I said to myself, “I should’ve gotten a large.”

I personally cannot tell that there are any more toppings on it than a regular pepperoni but hopefully that is just me and not the restaurant skipping on product.”

The fries were hard like they had been cooked and then threw in the microwave and put on a plate. The salsa tasted like water and didn't really have any flavor. The store appeared to be new. The restroom is clean, and the staff is pleasant. They were busy on a Saturday at 3:00pm, which is expected with the outdoor temperature in the low 40s. The drinks took a little long to come out.”

Family owned and operated, a Jackson Staple. The look and feel of a comfortable pub, bar and restaurant.

Come in the front doors and hang a left for the restaurant with smaller bar side. On your right is the big bar for the evening crowd.

Great menu of sandwiches, salads, soups and entrees.

Assortment of fried delectable as appetizers. Lots of choices and variety on the menu.

Today we tried the grilled chicken sandwich with tots. Grilled chicken sando was excellent. Bummers warm, soft and had been toasted on the flat top. Chicken was hot, fresh grilled and seasoned perfectly. Tots were not and crispy.

The Club sandwich is very good. Lots of meats and good toasted bread. The house-made chips are thick and seasoned in a chili powder seasoning.

The Rueben was good. It was Reuben-esque. The onion rings were great, a very thin batter. There were plenty to go around.

The fried shrimp basket included crispy, large, tail-on shrimp. Fried and served hot. The fries were good. The coleslaw was chopped, sweet and creamy. The hush puppy was a little dense and not as sweet as some.

Plenty of refills. Friendly, efficient service.

Full bar options and beers on tap.

You can tell this is a fun night spot. Decorated with sports and Irish references and giraffes 🦒 abound!

This place is legit. I love coming here to grab dinner when I’m in town. I get the bourbon-glazed salmon every single time because it is phenomenal.

Cooked just right with a light crust on top and a flavorful glaze, it is delicious.
