“Sometimes you stumble upon a gem in America. This is one of them.Just thought I'd update my review from 8 years ago. At some point they remodeled the interior seems much bigger now. Very comfortable, food just as delicious as ever. And their menu has greatly expanded. Lot of really cool stuff you don't really find at the regular joints. “We tried Henrietta Red today, based on a recommendation from Southern Living magazine. Everything we had was delicious. I had the roasted oysters with tomato chili sauce, gulf shrimp, and my husband had the sourdough French Toast. It was all delicious! Highly recommend!!!“

“This place is amazing!! Went for a birthday and every staff member we encountered wished a happy birthday. Our server Brian was knowledgeable and personable, great service!The food was beyond delicious. We ordered the swordfish, schnitzel, hush puppies, oysters, calamari and would recommend all those dishes!“

“I’ve been wanting to go here for a while. Always past by because of the long lines. I’m currently 26 at the time of this review and I remember being about 5 and my mom would always have some catfish and spaghetti from Nashville. She worked in Nashville and would come here for lunch or after work. I didn’t know the name of the restaurant but it wasn’t that difficult to find. The sandwich tastes exactly how I remember. Didn’t care too much for the spaghetti, the taste was different. Very pricey for a little cup, $4?“

“A great spot to grab a poboy sandwich. Had the catfish one and ended up with way more food than I needed. Should have gotten the half portion. Comeback slaw was uninteresting and I suggest skipping it for a different side. Loved the sandwich though. Came out fast and VERY hot (heat hot, not spicy). Would come back if I'm ever in Nashville again.“

“Great experience overall. Food was great. Cocktails were great. Service was great. Laid back atmosphere. We had the Crab Cake appetizer with a cup of Clam Chowder. Then we had the Fish 'n' Chips sampler and Lobster Roll with butter. Had to leave food on the plate because we were so stuffed. Next time I'm in Nashville, I will be back.“

“Awesome food! We WILL be back - to try everything. The owners and staff were wonderful and friendly. Cooked fresh to order. Husband had the wings and fries with the Honey Heat and it was delicious and not hot but lots of good flavor. I had the shrimp and grits. Some of the best we have had.“

“This is our go-to Mexican place. We probably come about 3 times a month or so. They’ve got great food, great people working there and great prices. They’ve also got daily specials and happy hour from 4-6 Mon-Fri. Service is always quick and we love having a great place close to our house.“

He was super nice and his daughter is in college where I’m from so we had a lot to talk about .The quesa birria tacos were THE BEST I HAVE EVER HAD!! So glad this place was close to my hotel. “Wow!!! What an immersive experience. It looks like SpongeBob is not the only one who lives in a pineapple under the sea. I took my non-verbal daughter her and I saw her light up like never before. Her handler tagged along as well and put that crawfish to good use. My daughter signed it best “it’s a bad day to be a crawfish!!” . The highlight was the butter bag!; worth your $$ and the way the host spun the bag left the entire table in awe. 1000/10. !!! Great for birthdays, funerals, divorces and or a simple Sunday night out.“

“I just left from captain d's on Jefferson street.. Got to the window for my order and the lady did not give add my sweet tea. Instead of giving me a sweet tea she told me i needed drive back around and order another sweet tea in the back of the line for a mistake that she made. What kind of mess is that??? she was a short skinny black lady with glasses and a wig. I want my tea.“
