“Stopped in for a quick bite. The chicken teriyaki skewer appetizer was good and big. I also got their lomein. I give them 5 stars. Everything was hot, and good. Couldn't ask for more from a take out restaurant. They do have a couple of tables which is nice.. i didn't have to sit in my car to eat.“
“If you come here I would advise getting here when they open or making a reservation. They are that popular and for good reason. Their food is excellent and their staff is top notch. If you are looking for something for a special day like birthday or anniversary then this is the place to go. You will not be disappointed.“
“Went tonight with some friends because we wanted a ladies' night somewhere interesting, and it did not disappoint! We ordered an obscene amount of food and ended up taking a ton home. Everything was really good, the service was wonderful, and we all tried something new! A wonderful place to go if you're looking for a fun and delicious dinner!“
“I know I was really hungry, but everything tasted really good tonight. I started eating before taking my pictures of the food, LOL. The calamari was perfectly cooked and was a great appetizer. I got the chicken pad Thai bento, which came with some california roll sushi which was great! The rice was moist enough, which many places don't get it right. Most other places the rice is too dry. Maybe a bit more vinegar flavor, but now I'm just getting picky. The spring roll was nice, the chicken pad Thai was outstanding with a lot of flavor. It may have been a bit more "wet" than I am used to, but it was really good. Staff was really friendly and attentive with their service. Will definitely be back if I am in the area again.“
“I absolutely love West Coast Taco Shop. The food is always tasty, and I always leave satisfied. The atmosphere is chill and relaxed; great for something quick and casual. The staff is really friendly as well. Seriously one of the best taco shops in the area.“
“Way to go Juicy Seafood!!!! I went to Jamaica in February, an island and the Lobster was terrible. Today I drove from Cornersville to Smyrna to try Juicy Seafood for the first time and wow was it the best damn Seafood ever. My crab was not stuck in the shell, the shrimp were big, the lobster was good. The seasoning was great. We are in a landlocked state and they should not even know how to cook seafood. The customer service was great. Very satisfied. Only thing is the graffiti is a bit much. Should not be all over the actual decor. Walls and decorations is too much. Otherwise fabulous place. Worth my drive and being stuck in traffic on I 65 for over an hour and 1/2.“
“I read another review that stated the ceviche was better than the chips and salsa (a bit blander than a good store bought version). I noticed other tables would get the ceviche upon seating, but I assume non Hispanic people get an American version. Anyway, the mariachi band was playing which was a nice surprise…a bit loud to hear your guests speaking, but it seems to bring in a lot of happiness from all the guests. We ordered a seafood tower, steak fajitas (cheap, bland cut of meat) and some octopus. The sauce almost reminded me of a dipping sauce for crab legs and it paired so well with the tender octopus. Yum! The seafood paella on the tower was too mushy to enjoy. Crab legs were cooked to long or something cause the meat was difficult to remove from the shell and they were lukewarm. The shrimp was not deveined ? and the mussels could of been left off.No sweet tea available.I did see a whole fried fish that I would have loved to try, but being it was our first time going based off social media it wasn’t that bad.Great for large gatherings.“
“I was under the impression all American- Mexican food joints were basically the same. This one is a little different. My go to is the chimicanga and typically it comes out mooshy with the queso on top and some dry shredded chicken inside but this one arrived crunchy with queso on the side, tendy chunks of chicken and peppers and cheese inside. Best one I've ever had. Also the salsa was different than I've had before. The staff was friendly but was a little slow on service even though there were only 4 or 5 tables seated.Definitely would return.“
“10/10! I was craving catfish & found this gem! This was my first time eating at Bones. I called in my order over the phone, the lady that took my order was patient & friendly! I got the catfish plate, double spaghetti, & the fruit tea! (Lol, I’ve never had fruit tea before but it was GOOD!!) I should’ve gotten a large. Food was a GREAT amount for the price. I will DEFINITELY be a loyal customer.“
“My truck started over heating so I pulled off the road into the first place I saw. It happened to be this place. The people in there offered help and gave me water to put in the truck. They even offered to call a mechanic. Right when I was leaving they gave me a piece of watermelon, chicken wing, and one more thing I’ve never tried before. The food was delicious and I was extremely impressed with them for helping a stranger in need. I will return for a full meal as soon as possible. Thank you Hot Spot!“
“Love the food and the service. I'd loved it if the music wasn't loud. But they are going for the party vibes, so, I guess loud music makes sense. I'd definitely go there again.Vegetarian options: Many vegetarian options available just like any other Mexican restaurant.“
“We decided to stop in and try Helen’s for the first time and we are so glad we did. We had the catfish combo, chicken tender combo, gizzards and spicy fried pickles. The breading on everything as great! The flavor was great. The gizzards and chicken tenders were mild and just right. (We couldn’t watit to dig into the tenders before taking a photo.) The catfish we ordered plain and the seasoning is anything, but plain. The breading isn’t thick and overwhelming. The spicy pickles are a must! We also had their okra and fries as side and these were cooked well. We also tried the fruit tea which was a bit sweet, but goes very well with the spice. We’ll definitely be back!“
“This is the kinda place you don’t wanna write a review for so that it stays under the radar, but I feel too much guilt not spreading the good word, and the word is GOOD.I have eaten here countless times, it is my all time favourite restaurant I’ve ever been to. If I could eat here, and only here, until I died, it would be pure heaven.Best tacos you can get outside of that one taco truck you know of in Mexico, or just the best tacos you’ll ever have. All while being unbelievably cheap.Their pupusas give me strength to go on, their tostada de ceviche gives me faith, and their tacos continually fill my spirit.Additionally, every staff member they’ve ever had has been so kind, helpful, and joyous. I have so many priceless memories with my best friends and family here, I genuinely hope it’s the last meal I ever have. Please, do yourself a favour and go as many times as possible before your body can carry you no further, because a stomach full of Las Americas will carry over into the great beyond?“
“Always a great place to eat. I will not eat at any other Mexican restaurants. They always get our very difficult orders right. It's always fresh and hot and on time.Vegetarian options: You can ask to make just about any option without meat or even without cheese. I don't eat either and I have about 3 things that are completely free of animal products. Tastes great too.Kid-friendliness: They have about 5 options to choose from for kids menu. I have a picky eater and she lives the tenders and the rice.Wheelchair accessibility: They have an entrance just for wheelchair accessibility.“
“This restaurant is a hidden gem that defies first impressions. The moment I stepped through the door, I could sense that the dining experience would be extraordinary. Eager to indulge, I ordered my usual favorite, a vegetarian quesadilla minus mushrooms. While it was enjoyable, I must admit it fell short of being exceptional. Despite this, I am determined to revisit this establishment primarily due to its impressive selection of beverages. My first drink menu was a pina colada. Unfortunately, it did not meet my expectations. The taste seemed to be dominated by whole milk rather than coconut milk so it wasn't my favorite. My second drink was the mango margarita without a doubt, it stole the show with its delectable blend of flavors. This drink is, in my opinion, an absolute masterpiece and deserves a prominent place on their signature menu. Don't be deceived by appearances and give this spot a shot! Let me know if you enjoy it.“
“This is one of the very few affordable seafood places that actually has good food that I've eaten at in Tennessee. The staff is friendly, respectful, and willing to answer what questions you have. There are a few different ways of having your food prepared and there is a good amount of food in the combos.“
“I decided last minute to come here. Wanted something different in my diet, so I ordered the white fish and a skewer of shrimp with coleslaw and broccoli as my sides. The clientele seemed nice enough. The young man who took my order was knowledgeable about the menu. I haven't been to this one in probably 9 years. I used the restroom while I waited for my order. Small, outdated, bur used able with updated tp, soap, and paper towel holder. My only complaint is that it's right on the corner, so it makes getting in and out rather difficult as there is soooooo much traffic on Murfreesboro/Bell Rd. and there isn't a whole lot of parking space. But I will be back.“
“It was empty when I went, for lunch around 2-230. We sat ourselves and were greeted by an older gentlemen, who pretty much told us what to get. And I've been to places like that before, on a first visit, unless you have allergies, ALWAYS go with what the owner/chef tells you. Anyway, food comes out and he brings out some basil, lime, and lettuce, and just starts throwing stuff in our soups. I admit, I was sketched out and a little annoyed, but he had us try the soup before and after. It was good before...but great after, so let him throw whatever on/in your food.If I wasn't just visiting, I'd hit this spot at least once a week.“
