“Great brewery. Their other location is down in Johnson City. Inside and outside seating. Dog friendly. Lots of area outside to let kids play. Great beer. Has a variety for all taste buds. I had their IPA and it was delicious. The husband had the quad and it was great as well. They have food trucks that come for food and snacks sold inside.Free parking.“
“Timber is a unique and wonderful dining experience in the tri-cities. Our waitress was amazing, She was knowledgeable and offered suggestions. The food was incredible and so sumptuous while the atmosphere was cozy and inviting as something you might find in Europe. We can't wait to enjoy Timber! again.“
“I can't express enough how much I LOVE Nappys Bar....more fun than I've had in years....best thing ever happened , finding Nappys and the BEST real folks for fun, fun, fun....hope to get back and stay in those mountains. !!!!!!Kid-friendliness: Leave the children out of the bar.....“
“Absolutely love this bar! The shows on Friday and Saturday nights are loaded with fun and love and support. Drinks are reasonably placed and the owner and his husband are super kind. If you don't know, this is a gay bar BUT most likely the most accepting place you will ever find yourself regardless of race or sexual orientation or religious belief.“
“Great place for a great burger. Place opens at 5 and is located next to the Double Tree hotel lobby. Great service, friendly staff and the price/portion was very good. Food was cooked right and hot when is came out. Everything is made to order, so grab a drink and relax. Nice atmosphere with plenty of tvs to entertain. Glad we live in town, we'll be back.“
“Maybe grab a full meal before you go here to see the show but they offer snacks and great selection of cheap beers and seltzers!Laid back atmosphere, that hosts a variety of acts and it's a great place to stop in and see what sort of art and musical performances they have going on.The bar tender is very professional and all around a very acceptable place for all walks of life :) definitely will be by again next time I'm in the area.If you love skateboarding, punk, alternative, etc! you should be going here every chance you get!Parking: Sometimes the street parking is bare but there are spots not far away and parking lots to park in near by! Maybe a five minute walk from any parking lot to this venue!“
“Was staying at hotel near by and was told this was a great dive bar to go too. I wouldn't call it a dive bar but more of a neighborhood bar. Great place. Bartender was Eddie. This guy was slinging drinks left and right when the bar could of used 2 bartenders, but he kept up. Always had a smile. The people I met are the bar were nice people. Would recommend going there. I was just going in for a few drinks but ended up staying till close.“
“Overall, this is a very nice restaurant to take your friends, family members, loved ones, etc. I have always heard that if you want to go somewhere nice, then this was the spot! I agree, but was disappointed in the food. It was good, but it was not what we were expecting. Things did not come out how we imagined and flavors did not come through how we expected, but I would definitely come back and give it another shot. There were not many sweet wines either so I hope that maybe one gets added by the time I go again. Our service was great!“
“I have a severe food allergy to all things pork. I always try to talk to the kitchen to see if it’s possible for me to order a burger and still be safe. I really don’t want to have to use my Epipen. This place had me speak to the chef and the manager to make sure my food would be cooked safe enough for me. My burger was so good - sans fries (fries could be contaminated). My dinner was excellent! I’m so happy! I had a burger out! I will be back barring any incident that may occur later this evening. I will let you know if anything happens! Please go here and eat. So good!“
“Drinks are top notch. If all you know about rum is Captain Morgan, you need to branch out! (It’s the bud light of rums.)Bartender was great and enjoyed making our top notch drinks. Thanks for having such a great rum bar! Johnson City is spoiled and needs to be filling this place!!“
“Four of us came for lunch and we were not disappointed. We ate off the $9.95 menu. Although this menu (in the past) had a non alcoholic beverage included , this price is still a bargain. Everyone in our party said how delicious their meal was --cashew chicken, king pao, general tsos, and mine was the Pho Soup with beef. The broth in my pho was the best yet! If you don't like beef broth, then they perhaps prepare differently. To me, the broth was the best in this area, although i cannot tell you about authenticity. There was a plate of three sauces, with the traditional basil and the bean sprouts centered on the plate. We all boxed our leftovers to go. If you want a great lunch at a great price, don't forget this venue on Roan. The Days Inn is attached to the restaurant.“
“We had a delightful lunch at Chili's in Johnson City, TN. We were there on a Sunday after church, which is a busy time. However, there were only two of us and we were seated immediately. We placed our order and received our drinks and our food within 10 minutes. Our order consisted of sodas, chips and salsa (we did an upgrade and had three different dips with the chips), and the old timer burger with fries. We shared all of our order and we had plenty of food. Our server was outstanding and kept check on us. We can't wait to go back.“
“The food and drinks at Watauga are good, there is plenty of space, and the rooftop is a nice place to chill. Each of the three floors has something to offer. The first floor is primarily a brewery but also offers select wine and cocktails, and also a food menu. The first floor also has shuffle board and live music on select evenings. The second floor is primarily a restaurant but also has beer, wine, and cocktails. The rooftop appears to specialize in cocktails but also has a full beer menu. The service can be a little suspect depending on when and which floor you visit, but I've never had a problem on the rooftop. I recommend visiting the rooftop and trying some of their cocktails and beers, then visiting one of the lower levels to sample the food menu.“
“Back for a second visit. Tried the birria pizza this time. Got the medium. And was huge. May have to see how big the large is next time. It was amazing. Believe I'm going to have to try every birria dish on the menu. The Alambre is on my list of things to try too. It sounds like it would be tasty. Queso was on point. Margaritas were excellent. Good service. A little slower than last time. But not bad considering the place was completely packed with large groups and a party. So, wasn't bad at all. The gf had fajitas. They were great. She ate on them for 3 days. So good size portion.“
“My husband and I enjoyed a lovely dinner at Sahib. He had the medium heat Chicken Tikka Masala and I had the mild Pineapple Chicken curry. We also shared Chur Chur Naan and finished with Gulab Jamun. Everything was delicious and perfectly spiced. Our waiter, Rocky, was so nice and helpful! He suggested things to try that we had never ordered before. We will definitely be back!“
