“Went with a friend today. Been a while since I’d been and thought I’d give it a second try.I got the AM burger with fried okra and sweet tea. I liked the tea. Not too sweet. And the okra and burger were pretty ok but the patty and the okra seemed like they might have been frozen and not fresh. The food wasn’t bad but my meal being over $20 just doesn’t encourage me to return.Parking: Small parking lot that I had a hard time pulling out of even with my small car. Only thing slightly 'amiss' this visit was ' server in training didn't come back to see if we needed anything after serving' (but she gets a pass as she's new) however, not picking up our dirty dishes was 'strike 2' even after the 'regular server' came to drop our our bill. And it wasn't particularly busy. We will of course go back; their service is usually 5 star!“

The bartender said that she never used it because no one ever asked for that drink. A bunch of different flavors and fresh ingredients that looked good and tastes fine but it was half the size I was expecting it to be.Also I drink a lot of water and it took a while to get a refill. When I did get a refill, I had ice an inch out of the glass. When I was offered another refill a minute later I asked for the check.Besides the water situation, my service was good and I enjoyed the people that worked there and the atmosphere they were going for.My experience here wasn't bad compared to some places but it wasn't that great. “I would give this 4.5 stars, we went on Pi Day where you can get an 11" pizza per person one day a year for $3.14 (Pi). No online membership was required. There was a line around the building, as you know people love discounted/free sh$t. I didn't want to wait in line, but my mother convinced me as we were with other family. The woman setting up the orders was very patient. We were reading the options on cell in the line, but I'm sure there are people who get to the front and say"uh what do you have here??" For the eight of us, our food came out correctly and tasted very good. You can taste the wood oven even though these are thin dough pizzas. None of the staff seemed snippy about having to work from dusk till dawn. “well, after reading the reviews, there was a very harsh pizza critic, (older post) and 2 extremely positive reviews (new posts) and as a pizza connoisseur myself, I knew I was leaning towards the majority although I think very differently than most and usually root for the underdog, but in this case, the underdog would be the pizza joint... especially found it humorous he had pushed buttons on the lines of "if it saves one person from trying the pizza then it's (his opinion, time) is worth it...well, for me this had the opposite effect, I accept the challenge of not being saved, thanks but from what sounds to me amateur taste, I'm not scared and again thanks for sharing, maybe focus on saving people like friends and fam, who may or may not know or trust you more than a stranger danger proponent...i cant wait to give it a try myself and Dare to think for myself, knowing we all enjoy different things“

They use Double Gloucester Cheddar in several of their dishes.For the non-cheese aficionados, Double Gloucester Cheddar is made from full-fat cream/milk (Single Gloucester is made with skim milk) and a Double Gloucester wheel is twice the height of a Single Gloucester wheel. It is also rumored to be made from two distinct milkings.The Whiskey Bacon Burger was prepared with a Bacon Jam, which nicely incorporated the whiskey flavor in the background; the bacon was incorporated into the burger which always gives a delightful flavor throughout the burger.The Chicken Salad was likewise unique in its ingredients and was nicely balanced. The Honey-Roasted Vegetables however, were exquisite. Carrots, Broccolini, Green Beans, with White and Red New Potatoes sautéed and infused with honey and crumbled bacon. “Stock & Barrel had about a 30 minute wait for our party of 3 at 6pm on a Wednesday. Once we sat down and tasted the food, we realized why this Knoxville gem was so popular. We started off with the Opa!, which is a uniquely grilled hunk of feta covered in honey. What a fabulous tasty appetizer this was. Warm and crispy feta is something we've never had before and the honey added such a sweet touch. I tried to save a piece for after the meal, but my wife and I couldn't stop and finished the whole thing before the real food arrived.For my meal, I got the tomato salad with a salmon patty on top. It's a plate loaded with tomatoes soaked in balsamic flavor. Absolutely delicious and fresh. And the salmon patty was crispy on the outside and soft and luscious on the inside, with fresh salmon taste. I don't have salmon patties/burgers often, but this was the best one I've ever had.For a Wednesday night, service was kinda slow, but it was awfully crowded. We see that as a good thing for a local restaurant to be so busy mid week. But just go in expecting to wait a bit, both for a table and for your order to be taken and delicious food to be delivered. For such a huge bar, I was disappointed in the beer choices. I was given 3 to choose from on tap. But my wife was impressed with the bourbon and whiskey selections. And she absolutely loved the look of the bar, saying she wants to install something similar at home. We'll see about that.If you are looking for a hearty meal in a cool atmosphere in downtown Knoxville and you have a bit of time, Stock & Barrel is definitely a recommended choice.Vegetarian options: Our 12 year old pescatarian did just fine, but there weren't a lot of choices.Parking: The garage next door was very full, we ended up on the top floor. But because of the slow service, we ended up leaving after 8 which meant we didn't have to pay for the garage!“
