“We were in town for a basketball tourney and found this place. The prices were very reasonable and the food quality was excellent. I had the Southwestern Chicken salad. It was very fresh and very tasty. The jalapeno ranch dressing had the perfect amount of heat for me. My daughter had the a chicken and rice dish with questions. She loved it. Grandaughter had the child's cheeseburger and ate all of it. Service was quick and the server very friendly and helpful. Will definitely eat here again when we are in the area.“
“I eat here on occasion. This hole in the wall restaurant is not what you would think from the outside. Stepping inside, you see a rustic saloon vibe with an old style diner feel. Pool table in the back for a game while you wait on your food or after. The grill is behind the bar so you can see your food being cooked. They are locally famous for their hotdogs, but their hamburgers are wonderful! If you go through the week during lunchtime, be prepared to wait. Their always busy. A local lunch hotspot. Out of all the times eating here, I've only had one bad experience. Waited 45 minutes on my burger. To their defense, they were extra crowded, and the cook was clearly having a bad day. I would recommend eating here.“
“Me and some friends visited your restaurant 2 times while we were in Tennessee last week! Our friends went the first time and said how great the food and the service was so we decided to go back. Me have food allergies does make it extremely hard. I told the waitress I was going to be the hard one and I was. There was nothing I could eat other than a salad because of cross contamination on the grill! Our waitress went above and beyond to find something even though it wasn’t on the menu. She knew how upset I was and wanted me to eat something. My salad was delicious but not what I wanted. I appreciated her suggestions and her will to make it right! We talked about getting a separate sauté pan just for celiac or gluten sensitive guest! She told me she was going to suggest it. So for future guest with food allergies would have other options! I wish I could remember that sweet girls name I just want to thank you again and we will be back!Dietary restrictions: Celiac“
“A local hang out for early morning food and "old timer gossip" which adds to the atmosphere. You can actually take your time and eat, not feeling rushed at all. Its a great little place to stop and eat. They have great drive-thru service plus a breakfast buffet and some really good biscuits. Give em a “
“Today my cousin and I went to Jack's. We had heard it was worth the time to go. Well... That was an understatement beyond reason. Our food was DIVINE! The speed was super timely. The atmosphere was very relaxing and home'esq. We truly enjoyed every aspect about the place. The freshness of the food was spot on! Every aspect was prepared right in front of us and handled with the utmost care. I was most certainly return. Easily the best thing off the exit, and surrounding areas.“
“This place is excellent. We got the pulled pork platter. One with baked beans and coleslaw another with the beans and potato salad. It was all good and very generous servings at a very reasonable price. Service was fast and friendly. We are camping at Cove Lake State Park so this was convenient. We ordered carryout and will be back again when we are here next time.“
“Went for breakfast after a doctor's appointment. My server's name was Courtney she was very courteous and attentive. I ordered the sausage bowl with hash browns and scrambled eggs and gravy on top. It was piping hot and delicious.“
“I stayed here with my husband on vacation. The rooms were so clean. The cleaning woman went above and beyond for us making sure to leave her card just in case we needed something. She was so sweet. She definitely deserved her tip. The view from our room was breath taking, as well as all the other views you could drive to. We will definitely be staying again!Don't forget to tip the cleaning woman!“
“To be honest this is the first time my kids were able to eat at a Shoney’s. The food was amazing and not to mention that it was my wife’s favorite place to eat when she was younger, too bad they closed the locations near us. Also our waitress was awesome as well. I can’t quite remember if her name was Maggie or Maddy, either way she was great and made sure that our family was taken care of during our visit. It was also my wife’s birthday the day before and this really hit the spot for her. We’ll definitely make it a point to stop in on our next trip through Tennessee.“
“Bo’s Dog House Bar and Grill is our new favorite place. It is extremely clean, great for families or any group wanting a good atmosphere to come hang out and relax. The food is excellent (we recommend the pizza and the chicken tenders). The service was phenomenal- they treated us like family and everything was brought out quickly and was all hot and fresh. We will be returning soon!“
