“4/25/2024 review. The wife and I both got the Smoked Salmon Benedict which was very tasty but a little skimpy on salmon lox for the price. Stumbled across this place by chance, but we were delighted by the cleanliness & cuteness of the place , the staff is very positive and helpful!! Ordered double shots of espresso and some breakfast , which looks delish. Bathroom were extremely clean! They have a really nice outdoor area with tables and cute lights. “This was one of the favorite parts of the trip to Nashville. The food was absolutely top notch and the atmosphere was super welcoming and friendly. There was a musician playing jazz during breakfast and the owner made visits out to speak with everyone and thank them for coming. The restaurant is very community oriented and philanthropic. I never go to a restaurant more than once in a row while on a trip and we went here everyday. We were with a group of 8 and everyone loved this place. Another couple are coming back in a week and plan to come back to this restaurant again with friends/co-workers.“

“I've eaten at most all the fancy steakhouses in downtown Nashville paying big $$$ for a steak and this place is just as good, if not better. Their ribeye was seasoned and cooked perfectly. You pay for a 12oz steak but it has to be more than that! This was our first time eating here and it did not disappoint! We live in Gallatin and I can see us making the trip down just to eat here. “Good service, very quick. Pleasant waitstaff. Greek influenced food, though still very American. We had chicken and rice soup. Very good. A riff on Greek avgolemono soup without the egg yolk and lemon thickener. I would have liked that. We had a house salad and shared a grilled cheese. I asked for Swiss cheese (lactose intolerant), with tomato and bacon. Again, very good though somewhat plain. My partner had a cannoli for dessert. There were lots of scrumptious desserts on offer. Pricing was reasonable.“

“Thistle Farms is such a darling cafe and gift shop in Nashville! We stopped in for brunch and I was impressed with their wide selection of unique drinks and food options. The pricing was very fair and proceeds support programs to help victims of human trafficking get back on their feet. Service was wonderful here. Everyone was incredibly warm and welcoming. One of the staff members saw me taking a selfie with my friend and he offered to take our photo for us. It was a little gesture that meant a lot! The entire place was cozy and spotless - down to the sparkling bathrooms stocked with soap and lotion samples. I'll definitely be back on my next trip to Nashville!“

Boardgames to me will always be around, they really put the old form of communication and learning at hand. Especially if it's a brand new game to everyone at the table! “This is the sweetest cafe in the west Nashville area! All of the proceeds go to supporting women who have been affected by human trafficking to get back on Thier feet. The women survivors run the cafe and make every thing themselves Including the gift shop items. They have wonderful food and a charming atmosphere, and friendly service of course! The lotions and the beauty products are all natural and have essential oils such as lavender in them so if your skin is sensitive they smell lovely and are perfect ! Such a good gift item as well. If this cafe were just a cafe with no back story, it would still be marvelous. However, why not go and show your support and make your meal matter? Highly recommend!“

It came loaded with eggs, cheese, red onion, chipotle aioli, and avocado. I will say they could've put a little more avo in it but I was still super happy. For coffee, they have a wide selection of anything from seasonal drinks to espresso options. I got the flower boy which is a lavender honey latte and it was perfect. They also have cold foam you can put in your cold brew which is something I'll have to come back for. The employees are friendly, attentive, and happy to be here. “I love this spot for breakfast or lunch! I came here last weekend while I was in town for the Nashville half marathon. We didn't get coffee, but we all ordered the breakfast plate with scrambled eggs, bacon, and sourdough. The sourdough was great, and the eggs were perfectly cooked. The bacon, however, was the star of the show! So thick and flavorful. It also came with a side of smoked Gouda grits, which weren't great as they had a very gummy texture and lacked seasoning. Their house made hot sauce here is also delish! Be aware, they will have long waits on the weekends.“

The menu labels which dishes are vegan, although I'm not vegan but have friends who are, so this is a great spot if you are meeting someone eating a vegan diet. My son has celiac disease and I asked about gluten and they have several gluten free options. I'd love if they labeled the GF items on the menu as well. It's such a treat and I crave their hummus. It's the best hummus I've ever eaten! The last time I went I had the tandoori chicken and cheese sandwich which was very tasty. Their rice bowls and wraps are always good too.“

“We stopped in for an afternoon treat on a Sunday after staying nearby for the week. You can tell this business takes a lot of pride in the food and drinks that they sell. After reading the description of the Barcelona, I was sold. This is probably the best cold brew beverage I've ever had! The cold brew was perfectly smooth and balanced, and the whipped cream that they make to top this drink is nothing if not magical. It's thick and creamy without being overpowered with any sweetener or artificial flavor, as you drink the coffee and mix it together, it makes such a winning combination. I will be dreaming of this coffee. We also tried some Boston cream cake and coffee cake. The baked goods all looked amazing, the Boston cream cake was SUPER rich and a huge slice, and the coffee cake was perfectly crisped and not too sweet. All in all, this was a great stop. I didn't expect to see so many food and drink options, we would definitely come back next time we visit to try more things (and especially for that Barcelona). Service was standard, I felt the two working were hustling trying to keep all of the customers helped. Ambiance was on point, good music and open layout with lots of seating and unique decor.“

“Portland Brew East is Nashville Native Approved. It is a great little spot to go and work for a few hours or just have a chill morning. The black coffee is very good. I always get dark and it has a perfect flavor packed punch. The staff has always been very kind to me, too. If you sit outside you will see multiple dogs walk by, as it has a very homey location between the Eastwood and Lockland Springs neighborhoods. Plenty of street parking in every direction and a paid parking lot in back, that you probably wont need to use.“
