“We tried this place since we were in the area and the burgers here and extremely good. The tea was a 6/10 and the fries are just exactly that… fries. 7.5/10The burger is a 9.8/10. It’s absolutely dynamite. If you’re looking for a great atmosphere and off the beaten path with a really good burger this is worth a stop. Not insanely expensive and worth the $12 or so without fries. Would recommend it for sureKid-friendliness: There is a fenced-in outdoor seating area and it’s nice with different activities.“

“New location! Seafood done well is the attraction. I had the catfish and shrimp special. My wife had seafood gumbo. My friends had shrimp po-boys. The portions were generous for the price. All were tasty. We all had fried entrees. I'll have to try broiled next time and look for healthier options, but an occasional splurge is okay, right?“

Our order was even ready before estimated given time. They are curbside pick up only. No dine in or walk in. Not sure if that will change, but they do have signs on their door. “When I come to a new place... I always go for the asada mini tacos. So that's what I ordered this time. I was pleased with the experience. Meat was well prepared and flavorful. The shells held together quite well. The sauted onions were flavorful as well. As always, I go for the salsa verder. Nice heat. Not as flavorful as I usually like, but it did its job. It came with beans and I ordered their rice as well. The rice had great flavor and I inhaled it. The beans were similar to the salsa Verde. Not bad, but bland. All in all, a good experience for my money.The service was great and the restaurant was very clean. Came with chips and salsa to start with. The chips were cool and not bad. The salsa that i dipped them in was very flavorful. I can definitely come back here to spend some more money.“

“I'm a traveling musican but when I'm home I love to eat local spots. This one I'm lucky to have right down the street from my house. Christians Tacos man what can I say except yum. The Tacos are great, good sized and decently priced. They host a great space for dining my favorite part aside from the food are all the signs with silly sayings. If your on the NE side of San Antonio your gotta check out Christians Tacos.“

“One of the most welcoming and friendly eating experiences I've ever had. They make you feel like family/friends, not just another customer. It was only me and my families first time coming and on a whim, so glad we found this GEM!Our waitress was very kind and attentive even in the midst of a lunch rush and catering to a lot of tables. We were offered cake slices on the house before our meal, which I'm guessing was the cake leftover before close so it doesn't go to waste maybe, but man was it so good & moist!!We were told before our food came out a kind gentleman even paid our check! It is very clean and the decor was beautiful. The food was excellentI had mini tacos of asada and it was served with borracho beans , avocado , cilantro , fresh diced onion and grilled onions. Two of my kids had chicken enchiladas with rice , beans , and a salad. The other had beef fajita quesadillas. The waitress was excellent. She brought chips and salsa. The salsa was a small 3 space dish with mild salsa , a hotter salsa , and an avocado salsa. All 3 were delicious. The chips were good too. The price was just right for dishes as theseWe also got flour tortillas. We drank tea and agua frescas ( jamaica and lemonade , and horchata). New family favorite restaurant!“

“The name is misleading because it's so much more than tamales. I haven't even tried the breakfast tacos yet because I keep getting stuck on the five ingredient breakfast burritos. One is enough to fill me up. I highly suggest calling before you go here because it's a small scale operation with no dine in and one outdoor table. This is a Vietnam Veteran putting out good stuff and he deserves our support. Ask about any specials he might have when you call. I got a lunch special that included one dozen tamales, with 16 ounce portions of rice, beans, and chili.“

“Every food I've tried has been yummy. They're a small family owned business. The dining area is a bit small, so if they're busy, they'll fill up fast. You're able to easily order to go. I wish they had handout menus, though. But you can see most of what they do on the posted pictures. They're very friendly and make delicious food.Parking: There is parking out in front of the restaurant. It's limited to about what they can fit inside.Wheelchair accessibility: They have a ramp to the front door. Inside the restaurant, it may be a little tight to maneuver. But all the tables are movable.“

“Wu’s is always my Go-To when I want Chinese food. They are generally quick. You can order online and over the phone. They only do dine-in and takeout. They don’t have delivery unfortunately. They are generally open during the holidays. I’ve never had an issue with the staff being rude to me. They have always been nice and asked me if I need anything additional. I have eaten in the restaurant once or twice but most of the time I take it home. It is a little small so that’s why I give it 4 stars for atmosphere because you can only do so much but it’s also how the building is set up. I love their wonton soup, the sesame chicken, and the general tso chicken. Other places I’ve had wonton soup, the wontons don’t taste done and are stuck together. I think I they are reasonably priced too.“

“Great place to eat fish and the food isn't bad it's average, staff is a hit or miss someday they are nice somedays they just suck. Mostly older folks go here so prepared to get the eye from them if they don't know you from here .“

“It was awful!! We have been there plenty of times before but when we went in today around 1:30pm and sat down there were three other tables that had folks sitting at them. We sat at our table a good 12 minutes when the waitress finally brought us menus and we let her know we didn’t need to look at them and all we needed was a glass of water,ice tea in a to-go cup and a large pepperoni pizza. We thanked her and smiled. We then sat there another 20 minutes; meanwhile another couple came in. We were still waiting on our drinks. But the other two people that came in sat down made their orders and within five minutes they had their drinks their salads and were already eating, and we hadn’t even been served our drinks, yet she walked by us several times without saying a word. We drove all the way from Pleasanton, Tx and were so hungry for a good pizza. This experience ruined our entire afternoon and we will not be back. If you have that kind of time to waste your hard earned $$ on be my my guest. It’s not for me.“

“Chile's on Hwy 78 was nice. Food was really good and cooked to order. The chips and salsa were fresh and crisp.Our waitress was very attentive and quick to refill our glasses of tea. Poor lady, I think she got tired of us saying thank you so much but she never let on otherwise.It wasn't too busy so it was kind of quiet (which I appreciated) but I almost asked them to turn the music down, but I didn't want to be that cranky old lady.
