“From the time we walked in, we were greeted with smiles. The staff was kind and attentive. Person 1 ordered a pimento cheese sammich and potato soup (recommes both), Person 2 ordered jalepeno grilled cheese and potato soup (recommends both), Person 3 (shall remain nameless) ordered very specific, allergen friendly, PBJ and veggie straws (recommends both and make sure you tell them about your allergies and ask about their gluten free bread). If you haven't tried them, we recommend you get in your car now and get there because you are truly missing out on good friendly people and delicious food!! Oh and they can host small gatherings (we see all y'all asking on social media about places- so here ya go!)”

Maybe they were just out a chef or something, but refills on drinks and such also took a while. The adults think the food was worth the wait, but the kids definitely don't want to go back.”

“It's always hit or miss, but usually on them drunk party nights, whataburger always seems to hit different, almost like they take better care of the food late night than morning day... If you ever decide to eat fast food, always go during lunch hours or dinner hours for fresh food, or like me at late night drunk hours🤣🤣🤣”

“EVERYTHING is fantastic here! My parents were married in 1963 in Freeport. They honeymooned in Galveston. They drove through Alvin and stopped at Dairyland on the way. Since they were teenagers they drank Cherry Dr Pepper and they said Dairyland has 1 of the best! We moved to Alvin in 1977. I have been going to Dairyland and eating and hanging out for the last 45 yrs!! I have had everything on the menu and it’s all good! There is not a teenager from Alvin that hasn’t eaten and hung out here since 1960!!”

Only complaint is that the umbrellas for the outside seating are gone now. Makes it hard to sit outside when the temperature is high, so we end up sitting in our car.

“Waiting for my truck to be serviced so I needed somewhere to hang out and eat for a bit. Only three options: gas station food truck, Jack in the Box and here. There weren’t pics of inside so I wasn’t sure what I was getting into… and obviously was not pleasantly surprised. But what do you expect for a restaurant inside a gas station?

Still… despite the dine in experience not being wonderful, the food absolutely was… and for a good price. I got 3 tacos - chorizo, machacado & barbacoa - all with egg, cheese and bean. Was all exceptional and each was only $3.

When we got there she said that they only have one size of kolaches which we know is not true she did not speak good English. It's really really irritating.
