Building is always comfortable and clean, the staff are courteous and quick, and they seem to have a relaxed work environment, which shows through with their attitudes and service. “Just like your normal sonic but the drinks are better! Spent $40 to feed four so pricing was good since we had leftovers. The burgers was big and really fresh, the chick strip meal was thick chicken and it was all so yummy! But the drinks tasted super fresh and the different flavors of teas is a must try. I haven't been to a Home Plate Diner in probably 15+ years since the last one closed in Lubbock and that one had really gone downhill towards the end.This one is exactly like I remember the ones in Lubbock. The shrimp basket is still amazing and the curly fries and mac and cheese really sealed the deal.I'd driven by this one many times and was hesitance to go on because there were never any cars in the lot. “This is great for drive-thru, but not sure about dine-in. They have always been extremely efficient in the drive-thru and the staff is very friendly. What is noteworthy is they offer Gluten Free bread, and are good about dietary restrictions as long as you inform the staff. My first time having the GF bread, I thought they has given me the wrong bread. It was nice and soft, not hard like some. It is good to note that for GF bread, it is an additional cost. However, if you have a dietary restriction - it is worth it.Dietary restrictions: This is a great goto for GF options, but unsure about Celiac friendly options. However, they do state that if you tell them they will make every effort to accommodate. And, not all sauces (like BBQ sauce) are GF or CF friendly.“

“I tried the breakfast burrito. It was very good and a large burrito without being too big to finish. The bacon was well cooked and added a nice crunch. the burrito was hardly greasy at all which i really appreciated! A lot of burritos leave me feeling gross after due to the dripping grease but this one was not like that at all. I did not have any hot sauce with it but i think it would really help since the flavors are overall mild. The staff i talked to at the drive through were very kind as well“
