“They are located in the Stripes store, next to the Microtel. They have the best tacos at a reasonable price. They are open at 4am, so people like us that we're headed out to go fishing can get breakfast on the way out. We were in there 3 days getting tacos and they were always hot, fresh, and very good.“
“The salsa and chips were very good. I had the Ceaser salad with grilled shrimp - it was excellent. We had the combo fajitas which we both really enjoyed. The one issue I did not appreciate is that they only accepted cash - most people prefer using a credit card. The owner should just raise prices by 3% to cover the card fees.“
“Great atmosphere and the best fajitas ever and the owner Mr. Pena is the best restaurant owner you could ever meet. I couldn’t give this restaurant enough stars! Thank you Mr. Peña and your servers for the great experience my family and myself had.“
“Great place to eat, but sometimes, order can be wrong. Be sure to check it before you leave. The staff is great and friendly, but as always, people have a rough day.. so please be kind and understanding. Fast food is one of the toughest jobs to have, especially when dealing with the public. Great place to sit and eat as well. They have inside options or a small outside area you can eat at. The bathroom is always clean as well as the dining area.Vegetarian options: You can get most of the menu vegetarian, but also be aware that even though they have ingredients seperated its still prepared in the same area with meat and dairy.Parking: Big parking lot with plenty of room 20+ cars.Kid-friendliness: This place is kid friendly.Wheelchair accessibility: Some areas may be tight inside, but they have an outside area with plenty of room for a wheelchair.“
“This was our first time to visit this restaurant. Food is great! Refried beans and rice were kind of bland, but at least they didn't burn the tongue out of my wife's mouth. We have eaten at over three dozen Mexican restaurants in the San Antonio area and this one scores right up there with the best of them. One exceptional note for this restaurant: They have the best flour tortillas of any of the nearly 100 Mexican restaurants I've eaten in around the world. This restaurant is going to be one of our mainstays when we don't feel like cooking at home. One minor note of disappointment: We were not given chips and salsa when we were seated. Not a failure as many restaurants do not seem to know what chips are really great.“
