“My youngest daughter and I took a trip to Austin yesterday to shop at Fiesta and HMart and try out food truck Kiin Di. The food was great. We had the killer noodles, old school pad Thai and the dang curry with blk lemonade Chai tea. As i said before the food was really great. The staff is customer service focused. We will be back.“

“Both dishes were insanely good. Even the rice alone had a flavor I've never tasted before. I also noticed hearing the workers and seeing the kitchen that they had an authentic and experienced chef. Definitely the best thai food I've ever had in my experience.
Probably a good portion but for my appetite a little small, would recommend an appetizer. The music seemed to be trapped in 2013 lol.
Another hit on airport blvd along with tyson's and jewboy burger“

“By far the best Thai food I’ve ever had. Visited the area from Dallas and this spot did not disappoint. I have a medical condition and cannot eat any red meat and the items with chicken were excellent. Chicken garden rolls/spring rolls were the best I’ve ever tasted at a restaurant. Chicken was perfectly cut and proportioned, cucumber was very tasty, and the peanut sauce was just perfection. I always say you can’t go wrong with fried rice but their chicken fried rice was great on another level. Will definitely be coming back to this restaurant when back in the area. DFW needs to step up!“

“Made Kao Soi tonight and it was so delicious! Tastes as good as any restaurant! I’ve never had luck making Thai food at home until now! I love this! I’ll be ordering regularly now. Sad it won’t be at the Dallas farmers market anymore!“

“This is the my vote for best Thai food in Austin - I've lived nearby for 8 years and we get takeout from this food truck at least 3 times each month. The Pad Thai & Green Curry are my favorite dishes but everything I've had is incredible and the portions are huge + the staff is always fast & friendly. 10/10 - Highly Recommended!“

“We loved the food at this restaurant. They have a very unique approach to ordering. You order from your table and pay online. Then food is brought out. We had 3 main dishes, soup and salad.
Everything was delicious. We usually can tell the quality of restaurant by their Tom Kha soup. This one was delicious. All dishes were fantastic. Our favorite was Jungle Curry.
Highly recommended“

“I love their spring rolls and peanut sauce. 3 different choices and fresh rolled while you wait. If the fried whole fish is on special get it. Save yourself the overnight flight to SE Asia. I like it Thai spicy or you can ask for the sauce on the side. You won’t be disappointed.
Pineapple fried rice with a little extra red pepper flakes is another fave.
There are picnic tables behind the food trucks that always have shade.“

“Always nice service, food comes out in a timely manner and fresh. Outside patio seating, despite it being right next to a major road. The edamame are a little difficult to eat because of the many red pepper flakes, fried chicken dumplings were 10/10, the mixed veggies with egg noodles was delicious, and the crab fried rice was a 7/10. Plenty of parking and very reasonably priced.“

“Wow ? great food. Impressive customer service. Servers have a great friendly vibe and are on top of things.
We had already dug into these big portions but I had to snap some photos and share how yummy this food was.
My husband got the basil fried rice with pork belly. He says the Pork Belly is crispy and wonderful. Yum!! And I got the Yellow Curry with tofu the broth is spicy but not too spicy and the rice is not over cooked (I hate overcooked rice)
Everything came out steaming hot and so fresh tasting. Plus I got enough for dinner as well as our lunch. Highly recommend if you live in Austin.
There is parking and they cover the payment for the 1st two hours.“

“I love this place! The girl that answers the phone is the sweetest! She gives the best recommendations and always remembers me by name when I go in to get my order. The food is always tasty and made just right! So flavorful and always hits the spot. I would give it 6 stars if I could!! Definitely the best thai place in south Austin hands down!!“

“Food was great, hidden gem for sure and will cole back to try other plates in the menu. Initially the service was awkward and serious but then someone else took over and he was nicer. Fried rice was great and the massaman curry is also delicious“

“I visited this restaurant as a part of a work event and this place was reasonable for downtown Austin and had a nice atmosphere where you could hear each other talk.
Parking: I ended up parking at Frost tower which was $20, the walk wasn't bad but there is a lot of homeless population in the area, so I wouldn't go alone if you park there, if you can manage it the street parking is closer but it's hard to find a spot.“

“Thai Taste is an authentic Thai restaurant in Southwest Austin. Don't let the 290 construction keep you away, this is worth a lunch visit. I’ve enjoyed the Pad Thai and Pad Kee Mao wide noodles with beef. Lunch came with a small soup (or salad) and I always have more for leftovers.“

“We came in for a late dinner when they were about to close and they were very accommodating. Service was fast and kind and they waited for us to finish our meal. Love the pad Kee Mao, tastes so fresh and balanced with just enough spice at level 1. Thai spicy is no joke so pick levels 2-5 at your own risk! ?“

“Some items like their Pad Thai are very flavorful. The Pad Kee Mao lacked flavor, and the noodles were too long in my opinion. I would return for the unique Pad Thai.
Good portions as well and better bang-for-buck than most Thai restaurants in Austin.“

“Great local gem in Austin. Service was very friendly and knowledgeable about the entire menu. Very authentic tasting Thai dishes. Would recommend highly and would definitely return. Only downfall was mango sticky rice wasn’t in season!!
Vegetarian options: Forego meat and can get tofu or just veggies“

“This is my favorite Thai food restaurant, hands down. I've been all over the state, trying various restaurants when I travel, and nothing has beat this one. “This place had some of the best fried chicken and rice that I’ve had in a long time! The rice was perfectly cooked, not greasy like at most other places, and the chicken was very fresh tasting and tender. The crust in the chicken was very fresh tasting and crunchy and not stale like at most other places. The staff was super friendly too, I’ll be eating here again next time I go to this mall!“

“My quick pick for Thai and other Asian dishes. Have eaten at Mam's for over 20 years since my time at U.T. Have enjoyed this location since it's opening and find it very consistent in flavor and quality of food and service. I love all their curries. You can go from mild and coconut milk accented to fiery and robust with pungent basil accents. Perfect place to enjoy a relaxing dinner in south austin. They also offer great values on their lunch specials.“

“So happy to have this food truck back! I love everything they have. Big menu, lots of choices. Everything good. Great prices. And most importantly THEY ARE OPEN! So many foodtrucks around here have such inconsistent opening hours. They have my business forever. Just watch out for the spice level! I'm normally a medium spice person and I order a 1 out of 5. My husband is usually a give-me-the-spiciest-thing-you-got person and he orders a 3 out of 5. Err on the side of caution!“

“The food was good. My family and I enjoyed it when I finally got it home. The reviews about the wait time are accurate. It took a very long time, and the wait time given got changed a couple of times, which meant I drove out to pick up the food and had to sit in my car forever.I'd go back, but needs to be during a time where I have time to kill, which isn't often.“

They were just closed for a couple months to make some updates and we were so happy when they reopened. This place is worth seeking out and eating at. I highly recommended. One of the best in Lakeway!“

“I recently visited 888 after not having been there for a while, and I was pleasantly surprised by the updated interiors—they’ve done a great job refreshing the space. The food remains delicious, just as I remember, and the service was attentive throughout the meal. It’s nice to see that they’ve kept their quality high while making improvements to the atmosphere. “My friends and I always get excited to go to Bamboo Bistro. It is the exact experience one would want from an asian takeout place. The portions are big, the food is always fresh and delicious, the people are nice, and the menu is long. The drive through window is a little beat up but it actually enhances the experience for me. Bamboo Bistro is simple and effective.“
