My brother and I stopped here twice while in Austin, and enjoyed it both times. The food was great, and the atmosphere thoroughly pleasant, but the very best thing about the place was the wonderful staff. Our second visit came on a crowded Sunday evening, and the staff was really hustling to keep up with the crowd, but nonetheless our server Brock bent over backwards to make sure we were happy with everything. The waitress was awesome but unfortunately for her she was the only waitress in the whole building Plus washing dishes plus doing other things and once in awhile the bartender would help. I gave her a good tip because she earned it but as far as Trudy's themselves go it's not what I used to remember going there and the food wasn't that great either

Had a team lunch at Trudy's, a spot I've frequented a few times before. Unfortunately, this visit left much to be desired. The ambiance was marred by a slippery floor, which made navigating the space a bit tricky.
