“I'm in Beaumont a few times a year. I ALWAYS stop at Floyds when I am there. Honestly, it is the best thing that Beaumont TX. has going for it. My meal always includes their wonderful crab bisque and I usually have a fish steak- Tuna, Sword, etc blackened with the veggie side. They just do this so well. Every meal- and I have had quite a few over the last 12 years of going there, has been awesome! I recommend Floyds to all of my friends that come into TX. via I-10.”

“Decided last minute to go to Texas Roadhouse on a Friday night. The place was packed and yes there was a wait time. Worth every minute we waited !!! Couldn't have asked for better food or waiter. We got lucky and got "Uncle Daniel". Just try and not fill up on the rolls. We had plenty of leftovers to take home.”

“Since everything in this town closes at 9:00, I decided to try this place out. I ordered a torta and Gordita, but they were out of gorditas so I grabbed 3 mini tacos. The meats are all prepared ahead and you can see them in the steam tray. Enjoyed everything, but the asada on the torta didn’t have a lot of flavor. Mini tacos were really good and the green salsa hit just right. Felt it was a good meal for the price I paid.”

“We went to whataburger on 6/22 at 1:50am, and the younger man with the braids in a ponytail at the window did a great job at keeping a great attitude while doing literally 500 things at once. Taking orders inside and on the drive through, bagging food, scooping fries, and on top of that some other guy was inside yelling about his food. And he still kept the same high energy, positive, respectfulness, and customer service. Wish I caught his name to put in the review and i really wish I would’ve had cash in my car to give him.”

“Good bar that also brews beer in-house. The service was great and the food was so delicious. There were so many things on the menu that I wanted to try, including a sampler meal. There is some parking in front but the majority is in their back lot. Plenty of inside and outside seating available. They do have a run club on Wednesdays. The only downside was their house brewery beers, they were not great compared to others in the area. But they carry a lot of other beers on tap, can, or bottle.”

“We ate at Aladdin's kabob Korner on June 3rd. We ordered butter chicken, Chicken Shawarma, Cheese Naan, Mango pudding and of course a Chai. everything was delicious and the service was quick. I didn't catch our hosts name but, she made the meal more enjoyable with her friendly presence. We will most definitely be visiting again soon.”

“10/10! This restaurant has great tasting coffee and offers breakfast and lunch menu items that are all delicious! If you're looking for cheap, frozen fast food, you're out of luck here. If you're wanting homemade, southern, make-ya-wanna-slap-ya-mama good food, you're at the right spot! As of October 2024 it's still only a drive thru but there's a sign out front saying dine-in coming soon! The service is always impeccable! The owners make you feel comfortable, treat everyone like family, will answer any and all questions you have, and they go above and beyond for their patrons. Today's lunch special was beef tips with your choice of 2 sides, I chose green beans and cabbage. When I tell you the food makes ya wanna slap ya mama, I AM NOT LYING! The beef tips are full of flavor and fork cutting tender, over rice with gravy that you know didn't come out of a packet! The green beans with potatoes and onions are full of flavor and perfectly cooked. The smothered cabbage is always a homerun for me. Not everyone knows what they're doing in the kitchen but if you give this restaurant a chance, you'll be coming back for more whether it's for breakfast or lunch!”

I ordered the Khao Soi; a new menu item with a chicken thigh in yellow curry on a bed of noodles with cilantro, vegetables and crispy noodles. It was great. The curry was good and spicy but what was unexpected was that the flavors were not all mixed together into one. Instead, as I ate from different sides of the bowl, I was introduced to a different, yet complementing flavor in an extravaganza of flavor. The curry was good in itself and was soaked through the tender, pull-apart chicken. The cilantro and vegetables were each great, yet distinctly separate. The crispy noodles offered a good contrast of somewhat succulent, oatey flavor. This was easily a five-star meal.
The restaurant located in a strip mall and the decor is standard quality for the area.

I have eaten at Chaba many times in the past. Ever since they were in that little place on Lucas; there is a reason they have grown. They are usually consistent but have been off a little only a few times at the mid-county location (now closed).

Here at Chaba, I had previously settled in on the Chicken Pineapple Curry for my go-to and was never disappointed.”

“Me and my husband visited Big John’s Grill today for the first time and we were highly impressed. Upon entering the restaurant which most people would refer to as a “hole in the wall”, the restaurant was clean, had a nice smell and had adequate sitting. This made us very happy as several Beaumont restaurants we have been in have a sewer odor which immediately kills my appetite. To make things even more pleasant was when we saw the A95 rating from the health department.

The manager Beatrice was quite helpful in pointing out today’s special which was fried chicken/fried pork chops with cornbread, yams, black-eyed peas, rice and gravy, and cabbage. We had kind of gotten a heads-up on what meals are served each day, so we were looking forward to our lunch. Beatrice continued to assist by taking our drink order and dessert order all with a smile as she hollered to the cook what our order was (which was perfectly fine with us because it took us back to some of the restaurants we visited as a kid. She then told us we could sit down, and our drinks and food would be brought out to us.

Shortly after sitting our waitress Robyn (Robin) came up with our drinks, napkins and silverware. Again, service with a smile. She confirmed our order and checked on us while we waited as well as when the food came out. During our wait I noticed an old-time vintage Dearborn space heater that I pointed out to my husband….and wow just like that I felt like I was sitting in my grandmother’s living room whom I miss greatly.

The food was hot, fresh, tasty, and the appearance was definitely that of a cook who knew what he or she was doing. The portion size was good and the price we paid for the meal was economical. The lunch traffic never stopped. In the short time we sat there, the line grew from 3 people to 15, and people were still coming in for pick-up orders when we left.

We left as very satisfied customer and plan to return one day in the future. Thank you, Big John’s Grill, Beatrice, and Robyn, for making our visit and lunch date lovely.”

“Tonight the Lumberton High School Spanish Club went to dinner at Las Cazuelas Mexican Food. The food and service was outstanding. They have a good mixture between Tex Mex and more authentic Mexican food. Didn’t take pics of everything but wish I had! I personally had the “cazuela de mariscos” (seafood soup) that was so dang tasty. This restaurant hasn’t even been open for a year, but they handled a group of 23 (mostly teenagers) like pros! They made us feel right at “home”. We will definitely be back! Love this new addition to Downtown Beaumont. — at Las Cazuelas Mexican Food.”
