This was our first time at Silver Dollar and although we had a few tastings we didn't like, I left with three purchased bottles. The 2020 Malbec was absolutely one for the books! “I came into today at noon and we had a perfect time. We sat in the patio and valentina did an amazing job with my group. She recommended a bunch of food for us to share and she had lots of recommendations on wines and paninis that we could eat. Great job!“

“The service is amazing here! They are so welcoming when you first walk in. The inside of the building is absolutely beautiful, they have comfortable seating area along with some secluded spots so you can chill, catch up with friends or even study along with an outdoor area if you have fur babies! Very peaceful atmosphere . Nothing but good music and good vibes here! The Ube latte is soo good! It's very smooth and the perfect amount of sweetness! The ube is silky like it melts! How do they do it?! Right now I can only recommend the Ube Latte because that's the only one I've tried so far but I have no doubt it's all so good! We placed an online order for a pepperoni pizza, buffalo chicken pizza, and a chicken parmesan entree. He undoubtedly knew all the menu items and articulated very clearly / carefully.The food preparation / presentation / taste resembled culinary artistry. The Kirby cocktail sauce was like none I’ve ever tasted, a unique blend of sweet and spicy ingredients.The Steak-n-Cake entree was unbelievable. The steak was very very tender, and could be cut with only a fork. I’ve never tasted a well done steak with a little crisp on the outside and very moist / soft on the inside. The lump crab cake and sauce was an awesome combination. This far surpassed any east coast entree I’ve ever consumed. “We came here for a date night and had an amazing experience! The rolls were very clean tasting and delicious. All the sauces were made in house and really enhanced the flavor. The best part for us is the amazing selection of gluten free items, including the sauces! “We had lunch here. I ordered the Fish and Chips and substituted a salad for the chips. The salad was fantastic! Avocado, almonds, cherry tomatoes all in a delicious citrus vinaigrette.My son had the French dip sandwich, which came on a specialty bread, and was served like sliders with a jus. It is a blend of sirloin and prime rib. He said it was awesome! The server was friendly and took the time to describe the food and answer our questions. We would definitely return.“

“Chef Point was the perfect place for my birthday dinner. We made reservations ahead of time and our numbers went a over the initial count (20 people). They were very accommodating to the extra numbers we hadn't accounted for. We sat on the patio and was the only party out there, which was perfect since we had small children that could play around without bothering other guest. Our server was transparent about them being short staffed, however we never felt a gap in service at all. The food was delicious! I had fried green tomatoes and salmon pisatta, both were great! Everyone had a wonderful time and enjoyed the atmosphere. I now understand why one of the couples there says Chef Point is their favorite restaurant. We will be back for sure!“

“I had a long layover and wanted somewhere to go with healthier food options. The server was amazing and knew the wine list and the food options personally. He directed me to great choices. I picked the single cheese plate with the Manchego, Humboldt Fog, and brie. The brie was a little disappointing compared to the other two cheeses, but the Fog stole the show. The Traditional bruschetta was excellent! The bread was perfectly light but sturdy enough to hold the toppings. I read my book and relaxed with amazing food and actually enjoyed my layover. I highly recommend this place if you have the time.“

Our service at our last visit 4/27/24 was not the best as our server vanished multiple times which was even more problematic since we had a party of six which inherently requires more attentive service. We attempted to flag down other servers to let our server know that we needed him to little avail as most put on their blinders and ignored us. This dinner was a special occasion to celebrate my birthday and would have been a great experience if our server had not got missing so often. It would be worthwhile for Winewood management to implement team service like Hillstone restaurants which it knocks off.“

I must stop and brag on the waitress because our guest was quite unsure of what she wanted and because everything seemed so delicious she wanted details on the 5 items she had her choices narrowed down to.Shelly the waitress was amazing as without even looking at the menu was able to literally tell our friend exactly what she would be getting if she ordered say an ultimate fish sandwich, I mean right down to the way the sandwich is prepared. All three of us enjoyed our meal. It was fresh and looked appetizing and appealing. I was a little underwhelmed by the seasoning of the catfish because it tastes as though it had zero seasoning. Other than that, the service was good, and the bill was mid-range. So would I ever come to this establishment again, probably so….at least I can add some seasoning I cannot take seasoning away from meals prepared with too much salt and etc.“

“Was wanting some Italian and found this place. Walked in staff immediately sat me no issues and the water came by. The waiter was very knowledgeable of the menu and recommended a few things. Unfortunately, the subs were only for lunch cause I wanted to try the meat ball sub. It was not fated to be. Settled for the lasagna, which reminded me of mom's lasagna, "chef kiss," it was delicious. My buddy got yhe spaghetti, and I think he licked the plate clean. All I all the place was good. Lasagna 8 outa 10 very beefy Spaghetti 6 outa 10 Wait, staff 8 out of 10 liked that he gave me the run down on the menu I would come back if in the area“

When he returned with her drinks, he made some recommendations for dinner, which were amazing. The braised beef short ribs are some of the best I have ever had. “Had brunch with two of my girlfriends today while visiting from Oklahoma. Bella was a phenomenal waitress, she gave us good suggestions and checked on gluten-free options for my friend. Drinks took a little while to be made even though there was only a few tables. Bella suggested the espresso martini with tequila and it was AMAZING, worth the wait in my opinion. All three of us had the breakfast tacos and they were also good. We had just left a friend's funeral and they gave us complimentary dessert, which I thought was a super sweet thought. Beautiful interior and in a great location, I would definitely suggest stopping by sometime.“
