“The food here was excellent. The tacos were tasty and well filled. I prefer tortillas that are on the thicker side, and that's how theirs are made. The crew works hard, and everything is open for you to see how your order is prepared. I like that... The parking lot needs work as there is only 1 in and 1 out with no clear signage. I sat outside and watched several events where people were trying to go out the in, making a traffic jam. I also saw a truck back into a tree that really should not be there. Those tacos probably cost him a couple hundred dollars! DO NOT BRING A TRAILER. Saw that mess, too. The inside is clean but noisy. It's meant for quick in and out dining or takeaway. I will absolutely come back, but earlier here is definitely better. It gets hopping busy...“

This place is awesome in every way if you know what great tex mex and fantastic service is supposed to look like. I judge by the simplest of terms in Tex Mex food as it's a simple cuisine that relies on the right combination of spices and materials to be both authentic and delicious. We have that nailed here. So for all the tourists looking to be seen in the fancy place dumping loads of money on overpriced and not so good food, keep going down to that place on Main in San Antonio. Otherwise to see what it feels like to be treated and fed like family, go to El Rio in Boerne. Also, don't order more than one margarita without a driver. They go down like Kool aide and are to die for. I will drive across San Antonio and pass all the other places for a plate of enchiladas in Boerne. Atmosphere is authentic and the family run feel is as real as it gets. Don't expect mariachi singers unless you bring a band. This is the real deal. So five stars isn't enough, but they get it easily.“

“I recently dined at Mirasol, and I have to say, it was an exceptional experience! Wife and I both had enchiladas. They were so damn good, especially the Chipotle ones.

To top it off, the service was outstanding. Our server, Gerardo, went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. He was attentive, friendly, and made excellent recommendations. His warm and welcoming attitude really enhanced our dining experience. When we asked for more salsa, he recommended different flavors which were so damn good! Food is great, but service is what really makes a restaurant stand out, and Gerardo made this good experience into an amazing one.

Lastly the drinks are great. We both had the spicy margaritas which were amazing. Will definitely return and will be requesting Gerardo if available.“

“Hello, I stopped in to get breakfast one morning before attending a class in the Boerne area. Being from San Antonio I have high standards for good mexican food. Well, I will be darned, the food was on point! The tortillas were great, and the food tasted fresh and amazing. I will definitely be making the drive out to your restaurant. “I only stopped by because I heard the tea was great. It did not disappoint! I’ve read many reviews here about unfriendly service. I didn’t sit to eat so I cannot vouch for that. However, upon walking in I was greeted and I requested two sweet teas to go with light ice. After the reviews I thought that request might trigger someone. They have ready to go teas at the counter so the lady handed me one and asked if it was too much ice. I did hesitate but asked if I could get two with less ice. I didn’t get any push back. She disappeared to get them and a gentleman came back carrying them to me. He was very friendly, offered me a carrier and bid me a good day. Definitely will return.“

“The food is good but the morning guy in the drive thru today and the last 2 mornings needs to work on his customer service skills. When I ordered he just said Okay so I said that was it for my order he said Okay that's 3.44. I pull up to the window and he said that's 3.44 and then he said do you want salsa, I said no and then he handed me my food and did not say thanks or have a great day. Youth these days really need to learn good customer service skills!“
