“I know better than to order uber eats or DoorDash from Taco Bell or anywhere else that includes lettuce:D But I will say if you are in the area of this particular Bell, stop in for a treat! Good food ( current favorite are the rolled tacos which I call taquitos but whatever-- guacamole!!) and absolutely wonderful customer service! Whenever I actually go into an establishment I tend to use the public restroom at least to wash my hands, and theirs is always clean. I judge a restaurant and their cleaning habits by how they clean their restrooms. The Bell satisfies my late night munchies after working. Never disappoints!“
“This restaurant is five out of five. La Pollo with the onions and the spicy sausage was amazing. Queso panela was amazing. You also must try the margaritas they were very tasty. The service was impeccable. Authentic, I would recommend this to anybody at least give it a try and you’ll come back for more.“
“I had family visiting and we decided to take them to Grumpy's for breakfast on Sunday. The wait for a table was about a half hour, but it was definitely worth it. I had two breakfast tacos and they were huge (and very affordable). Each of us thought the food was great and service was excellent.“
“Hidden gem on the north side of town! May very well be the best tacos I’ve had in town. Had the mini taco plate with a combination of tacos - Pastor, Asada, Chicken, and Chorizo. Pastor was killer.Great friendly service, quality food, and clean restaurant. This is a must try and this will remain on my food rotation for sure.“
“What a great first visit. We were genuinely greeted as we walked in. The entire staff are friendly and truly personally know their clientele. Now the food was great in flavor and huge on portions. What great vibe and what great experience. I loved the Al pastor taco!! (Pictured) on review.“
“I visited for the first time last Sunday and took my son and granddaughter. I had birria tacos, my son had street tacos and my granddaughter had bean and cheese tacos. The food was authentic in preparation and presentation. The interior decor is what you’d see in an authentic Mexican restaurant serving on clay pottery. I recommend you give it a try. The birria tacos were huge with delicious tender beef. Goat is available also.Parking: Free parking directly out frontKid-friendliness: Family friendly, lots of families there.“
“!! Great experience, everyone very friendly!! The kids ate chicken and fajitas and I had a delicious barbecue! Great beans and rice!! If you don't know what to eat, 100% recommended!! (First time we eat here, we came to visit San Antonio!)“
“This is the reason I visit San Antonio. I live for the world’s best Al Pastor, it’s here!! I’ve tried all pastor all over the US, nothing compares. Thank you for your amazing recipe. The strawberry horchata was good. Of course, I will visit each time I’m in San Antonio!!!!“
“Being from Chicago we found this place and OMG these were ?. We ordered individual tacos and by the pound. The best one I had was the pork belly taco. All tacos are huge and can easily make 2 or 3 our of 1 taco. Salsas cilantro and cebollas come on the side. I will definitely recommend ?“
“My husband has been raving about the Fideo Loco for some time. He says he gets it everytime he has a business meeting here...he wasn't wrong. It was the best I've ever had. Service was fast and friendly and pricing was very reasonable. We will be back!!“
“We'd tried to go here another time but they were closed and I was sad that I didn't get the try it. The building looks like they are closing down but never fret. This time they looked closed but I stuck my head in and asked if they were open and the guy behind the counter said yes so we went in! The guy was also our server and the food was AMAZING!! We will definitely be going back.“
“Simple, solid and worth a return. Had the Pollo and Chipotle plate as well as the Beef Fajita platter. Both good. Even though it was busy, service was great too. Hadn't been there in awhile but need to come back soon for my Tex-Mex fix.“
“Indulge in mouthwatering tacos served with a side of unparalleled hospitality! This taco gem impresses not only with its delicious fare but also with the owner's remarkable dedication to ensuring every guest feels at home. A definite must-visit for taco aficionados craving both great food and a personal touch!“
“Amazing. Loved the mini tacos I ordered. I got 5 minis for $10. One order of chicken and the other of cabeza. I looked at the menu while waiting and the items look appetizing. Wonderful service and a very clean restaurant. Highly recommend. Affordable and delicious.“
“I've been a regular at this fantastic Mexican restaurant for two years, and it never disappoints! ? The chilaquiles and quesabirrias are must-tries, bursting with authentic flavors that whisk you away to Mexico. ??Yes, there's a wait during peak hours, but that's expected at any popular spot. Trust me, the delicious food is well worth the wait! ?If you love Mexican cuisine, this place is a real gem. Highly recommend checking it out! ?“
“As a Mexican, this place hits home so well. One of the few true authentic Mexican restaurants out there thats so good! The food is a bit pricey but the portions are so big! Best part is the flavor and taste is delicious!! I would absolutely recommend this place and will go a lot. Gracias ??“
“We showed up early Sunday Afternoon, about an hour before they closed. We were seated in under 10 minutes. All the staff were hustling. We had the Norde Brisket (wonderful) and a Chili Relleno (big and tasty). Everything exceeded our expectations. We had not been here since before Covid, we will be going more.“
“This is a food truck. I don't think it is going to move anytime soon. The gorditas are excellent... I had the asada. They have a couple of picnic tables set up with shade. There was no line to wait to order when I was there. Jones Maltzberger near Wurzbach.“
“Absolutely amazing food quality and in today's world not only was the food quality amazing, the service was stupendous, but the prices were absolutely affordable, and in today's world it is impossible to find a restaurant that has decent prices, with horrible food and trash as service. I must complement the owner, manager, staff, and kitchen crew, it has quickly become my favorite Hispanic restaurant I have ever eaten at!!! Great job I truly loved the experience!!!“
“I will definitely go back for more! Two tacos for less than $4 Wow! I usually buy a bacon & egg taco & a bean & cheese taco for breakfast. These were delicious & the bean & cheese taco was a big fat taco. I’m glad to finally see that, because it’s probably one of the cheapest taco to make, but not all places make it this way. The flour tortillas are big n fluffy too! Gotta try more food here! Beautiful pan dulce in the case also. Lots of items to taste.“
“Friendly staff who greet you as soon as you walk in. Walk in to go orders are made fresh sonthey take a bit but honestly it's not a super long wait. Classic burger is delicious and a decent size. The pollo asado is to die for! We live close enough to smell it and yes, it's as good as it smells.“
“So happy that I saw this food truck through the Netflix series and decided that if I was ever in the area I definitely wanted to eat there. Well that took a while, but it was definitely worth the wait! WOW WOW how delicious and especially that brisket ??!!!!“
“Came across this taco truck on a late night coming in from Dallas. The tacos were fresh from the grill. The guy who took our order was patient and nice. The food truck does take cards and there was parking. There are also tables for you to eat by the truck. They also had a tv playing Sponge Bob. If you're ever in town come try them out. You won't be disappointed.“
“Nestled within a bustling shopping complex near Alamo Heights Methodist Church, this gem of a restaurant offers convenient parking and an inviting atmosphere. The decor is tastefully simple, creating a comfortable ambiance that’s enhanced by the charming outdoor seating option. The culinary experience here is exceptional, with an array of mouthwatering dishes. The mini tacos, tortas, and puffy tacos come highly recommended, but rest assured, the menu is filled with other equally impressive selections.Chips and salsa are served with a variety of other sauces and tortilla soup, some of which are absolutely amazingService at this establishment is attentive and commendable, adding to the overall delightful dining experience. I had the pleasure of trying their Micheladas, which, without a doubt, rank among the best I’ve ever enjoyed.Despite its modest size, this restaurant is a standout destination that’s absolutely worth a visit.“
“I got potato and egg tacos and bean and cheese tacos. The cheese they use is like the melty government cheese. Beans were flavorful. Potato and egg isn't seasoned but the potatoes are fried. Most places done season potato and egg and let you add your salt. The tacos are big. You only need 2. But their taco special is great. With taxes you get 3 tacos for $4. Cant beat that! The people are very friendly and helpful. You feel welcome and the lady at the register is a Jill of all trades. She does everything in that place. All in all great place. The only thing I didn't like was the salsa but to be honest I'm picky about my salsa.“
“Small place but amazingly tasty and delicious on their food. I love their #1 Just fish tacos and #2 Deluxe fish tacos. Their tortillas are made right in front of your eyes, and each ingredient is so fresh and delicious and brought to you in a timely manner. Their hot sauce are like no other, it has a unique taste. I just love it. ???“
“Great little Mexican Restaurant. Specializes in delicious homemade tortillas and tacos, but excellent other just made choices. They make EVERYTHING fresh for each order, including the tortillas, so takes a minute but well worth it. Full of locals as well sometimes so....might have to chill a bit.“
“First time visiting this place with friends on a Sunday morning. Quick friendly service, food is fresh and delicious. Good value, Great clean atmosphere with the bull themed tables, and a Nice looking vine that grows almost All the way around the dining room. Nitto mosquito ??????? ??️ Yum yum ?“
“We are so extremely pleased with SolLuna , It was our 38 th Anniversary, and Food was amazing, we were expecting for our food to take time to be ready but in about 15-20 minutes it was at our table . Jessi our waitresses was amazing thank you for attending to us . Deserts were delicious! We will be returning soon and bring our family. Again thank you for making our night memorable.Elisa and Juan Manuel Fuentes“
“Excellent! If you're looking for a top birria near downtown San Antonio, you need to get to this truck located behind Bésame on E Grayson. I had the quesabirria tacos and they were incredible. The meat was tender and flavorful, the cheese melty and delicious, the cilantro and lime gave it a nice fresh element, and the consomé was just perfect. I was told I need to try the birria pizza next...but plan for a long nap afterwards!“
“Have been eating there for over 25 years. Quality of food has always been exceptional, whether dining in or taking out. Best breakfast tacos in town. Have enjoyed the soup as well.Vegetarian options: They try to accommodate everyone and will make suggestions or recommendations to satisfy the customer.Parking: Service is fast so turnover of customers allows excellent customer parking.Wheelchair accessibility: They accommodate everyone.“
“Has a simple family owned feeling. Probably the best Mexican food I've had in a long time if not ever. The magonado was an exceptional and unique margarita. I'd recommend this place to anyone who finds themselves in the area, but it's also worth the drive if you're not in the area.“
“Super nice operator and the best taco truck in the area. Rarely do you get avocado included, limes that are actually juicy, both onions, just overall great tacos. Haven't got the other items yet but I've had tacos probably a dozen times in the past couple months.“
“We got the 3 for $3.99 breakfast tacos (chorizo and potato & eggs a la mexicana). They were delicious and big. Definitely a deal worth going for and well worth it. The tortillas they use are great. We'll be back to try more on their menu for sure.“
“We wanted to eat some tacos and we saw this place on the way. What a surprise! We were greeted with hot tortilla chips, salsa and hot yellow cheese! wow! a real top, while we waited for the main course. We ordered a shrimp cocktail which was brought quickly. Then came the main dish, a meat al pastor, with salad, yellow rice, beans and tortillas. Everything was delicious, at its point of heat and flavor. We also ordered a horchata that had a perfect flavor. We definitely recommend this place to eat Mexican food, and their service was very good.“
“When I come to a new place... I always go for the asada mini tacos. So that's what I ordered this time. I was pleased with the experience. Meat was well prepared and flavorful. The shells held together quite well. The sauted onions were flavorful as well. As always, I go for the salsa verder. Nice heat. Not as flavorful as I usually like, but it did its job. It came with beans and I ordered their rice as well. The rice had great flavor and I inhaled it. The beans were similar to the salsa Verde. Not bad, but bland. All in all, a good experience for my money. The service was great and the restaurant was very clean. Came with chips and salsa to start with. The chips were cool and not bad. The salsa that i dipped them in was very flavorful. I can definitely come back here to spend some more money.“
“My best friend and I both had the gordita plate de asada. Was very good as usual. Their salsa verde is amazing. Upon checking out, since they have a bakery we always grab some wedding cookies for our families. The cookies are delicious. I even took two dozen to my work and they tore them up in the office. Also neither of us live close by its a mid point meet that we are willing to make since the food is so good.“
“If I could give them ten [ stars ] I will give them ... Brenda's is a hidden diamond Restaurant ... “I rarely go to places without going there as their pest control tech. I took a chance outside my normal. Definitely great food and very clean my pet peeve roaches none to report out of the 2 times there. Excellent service and a big thumbs up on no roach activity.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes“
“VERY well worth a visit! Had lunch here with a coworker. Some of the best crispy tacos I've eaten. And you CAN'T beat the prices. Top it off with great service and you've got a gem of a spot for a good meal. Highly recommend.Parking: I imagine, based on time of day, the parking will vary. We had no issues but their lot is small. But, hey... the food is well worth a short walk.“
“Made a stop at Second Pitch Beer Co. for the first time. Man...were we glad we came hungry because the delightful folks inside of Satisfried (excellent name!) took care of us. Mac and cheese was so good it disappeared before my Yelp! camera could catch it. Bar none... best chicken fingers ever. I had to ask and yes... home made Cajun flavor that does not disappoint. Check them out!“
“Convenient location that has quality food. Food has been consistently good and I especially enjoy the Pirata tacos. They also have a weekday taco deal from 0700-1100, 3 of the same taco for 2.99. The restaurant is small but they get orders out quickly despite a high volume of call in orders. The staff are pleasant and friendly.Recommend highly.Parking: Never an issue finding a spot.“
“I am actually shocked for airport food. Service was amazing and friendly, and flavors were awesome. The portions for the chips and queso is a full on meal (for most people).Dip in the queso before the salsa for maximum stickage....other way around is maximum slippage :).Women behind the counter treated me like a proper bartender would....not a fly by night server at an airport seeing thousands pass through. So freaking refreshing.“
“Quesadillas are gods gift to earth, make sure to go on weekend to get the pastor, bistek still very good. Staff are very nice and restaurant is always clean. 11/10Parking: Not super crowded and freshly painted lines.Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly.“
“This is my new Holy Grail of flour tortillas. You can see where they had puffed up and left those little brown marks on those beautiful thick fluffy tortillas. My grandmother and my mother made tortillas just like this. This place is not near me but I will definitely go there again. When the tortillas are this good you just want to sit down with a stick of butter and a stack of tortillas. Okay that sounds wrong and I can't do that but that's what I want to do LOL. Carne guisada was not my favorite, I'm a friend of the brown gravy carne guisada. This is a little bit on the red side but still really good and the meat was incredibly tender. My friend ordered the nachos, and like always I wanted the nachos then LOL. They gave you a nice wallop of guacamole, the chips were nice and thick and held up well and the cheese was well, cheesy. I tried the Mexican plate. Looks like their taco shell for the crispy Taco is made in house, delish, the picadillo was really good. Enchiladas don't use red tortillas, so if you're that person don't order the enchiladas. But as far as beef enchiladas go, they were very good. It's probably all in my head but without the red tortilla it just becomes a soft rolled taco lol. And if you like your food piping hot, and i do, you will love burning your mouth on this yum wrapped food. Tea was great, good enough to get to go. And the service was excellent. Very friendly staff. This friend and I are already making plans for breakfast! Ill be dreaming about those tortillas.“
“Definitely recommend this place. I got Queso con Frijoles Pupusas (Cheese and bean Pupusas). Mini Tacos with carnitas (with pork meat) and Torta with Asada.Good to know :They only except CASH .Recommend going during the day and evening. The place is a bit sketchy at night but… do recommend ordering ahead of time when going at night. The people at the taco truck are amazing though.“

“Good mexican place, small family owned. Very friendly and fast service, This place never to busy, food and service great, staff always very friendly. Stopped by for breakfast Tacos this morning after 5k run, tacos and service was great as usual.“
“Decided to try a new spot and glad we did. Food has a homemade taste. I had a burrito. Wife had chilaquiles and kids had a burger. Love the green sauce. It's spicy with a kick. No long lines like other breakfast spots. Sporting a local business is a plus. Great job Picosito.“
