“First time eating here. I'd passed it a few times and made note to try it out, today was that day. Amazing! So quaint, so real, so good! It's different and special. Everything I ate was amazing, reasonably priced and worth every calorie. I left full and happy. I never had a torta prepared in this style, with sauce on top. It's a game changer. The bread was somehow still crunchy in the sauce. You have to try it. The empinada was also like none I'd ever had before. So well made, I loved it. I 100% want to come back and try other things. The staff is also very nice and helpful. I felt welcomed and just overall had a nice time with great food.“

“This is my neighborhood joint. I really like the barbacoa but the fajita is good too. My favorite order is the Gordita. Least fav is the quesadilla because the cheese tastes too processed. The tortas look 10/10. It has a drive thru and small courtyard to eat in with the local feral cats and sometimes a dog. Dogs are welcome on the patio. It's helpful if you speak Spanish.“

“Came here several times now whenever I'm too lazy to cook and I'm shopping at HEB. This place is conveniently located inside of HEB. They give tons of food for a cheap price. The flavor is pretty decent. I love their pork egg rolls, especially with the sweet and sour dipping sauce. Their fried noodles are the thicker noodles, but still worth it.The sweet and sour chicken and their sesame chicken are really oily, but flavorful. Don't expect a fancy restaurant, but definitely a go-to place to grab food.Staff are fast and friendly. There's no place to dine so prepare for take out only. The parking lot is huge.“

“I recommended J Cody’s Steaks & BBQ for your catering events. I had tasted them at another event and put my request in for menu choices for our event. I already knew the steak was really good. However, I was not sure if they were affordable for a non-profit event. I was greatly surprised and had no questions about the menu selection. They worked with us on several things to smooth things out. And those things even fell through, you would not have known it did. Their staff was so gracious and stepped in and helped us out.
