“On a recommendation I stopped by for lunch. Translated the menu with an app.I had fried shrimp with fries. Plenty of butterfly'd shrimp. But it was a little overdone. Next time I'm asking for less time in the fryer.French fries were the more limp but fresh made style.They sprinkle with a common spice/salt mix. Need less of that.Going back for second try.“
“Great service we got greeted right away. Had a seat and we got chips and salsa right away. We ended up getting Mar Y Tierra shrimp and sirloin parrillada and it was just simply fantastic. The fries though were a 2 out of 10 they sucked but the rest of the food was delicious. Definitely recommend“
“Love this place! We literally travel into town just to come here for the AYCE dinner (the dinner has a wider selection). The service is *very* fast, the sushi and sashimi are incredible (if you're looking for good sashimi at a great price, this is the place!), and every waitress we've had has been super friendly.“

“I ordered on a day they were closed and for some reason it transferred me to the east side location. I called back when I showed up and to my surprise it was closed long story short the girl from the east side drove to the central location to make sure I got my order. Best customer service ever !! The sushi box is delicious and the ceviche is as equally delicious . I highly recommend this place definitely a hidden gem in Central, seafood is fresh and their spicy salsa is really good. Thank you for going out of your way to make sure we got our delicious food“

“Stepping out of your car in the parking lot, you're already hit with the delicious aroma of freshly made authentic Mexican cuisine. The ambiance is like walking into a bar style, rustic cantina with a homey feel. Amazing and fast staff that takes pride in their job. We wanted to try a little bit of everything, so we ordered.. Chile Colorado burrito, which the meat was absolutely soft and filled with flavor. Breakfast egg burrito which was super filling, has eggs, bacon, ham, and potatoes. A burrito of carnitas that were not dry at all, and cooked to perfection. The chicken mole tasted a little sweet with great flavor. The menudo is every day not just on weekends like other restaurants. The menudo was not too spicy and definitely hit the spot! The prices are very reasonable for the large portions they serve.“
“The first time I went with my husband, the food was very delicious but the kitchen service was very slow was what the waitress told us, I understand it didn't affect us that much yet and when he ate first and my food came out later, today I placed an order online and I received the confirmation email at the time the order was going to be ready, we arrived for it after an hour and it was not ready, they told us that there were still 25 more minutes left because they had just received the order, we tried to get us They contacted the manager and apparently he did not want to take the call, there was no response as to what happened..good foodbad service“
“Great lunch spot in El Paso. I had 1 fish, 1 shrimp and one beef taco. Super delicious! Just the right amount of lettuce and toppings. Staff is super friendly. The space is small, hence "Shack, but very clean and inviting. Definitely top of my list for my next El Paso visit.“

“Great experience! We ordered fish and shrimp tacos, calamari and shrimp ceviche. It was all very good and I don’t really like seafood, but this little place was excellent! We got there just in time to get a table (1pm) as it quickly filled and people waiting outside to be seated. Service was great! We got our food quickly. The entire wait staff was super friendly and attentive. Highly recommend! We will be back!“

“The best steak we have eaten in El Paso. The prices were very reasonable also. Absolutely the best service we have received in any restaurant in El Paso. Very attentive waiters but not bothersome, they were very professional and nice. The decor is outdated but very comfortable. The restaurant remained very pleasant in regard to pace and noise level the entire time we were there and that is a huge plus when dining to enjoy. If anyone has ever been to other steakhouses in and near El Paso, you know what I mean when I say you feel as though you are eating and leaving and unable to relax. At this restaurant, you are dining and relaxing and not being rushed out. What a joy. The owner Mr. Crews himself was present and actively visiting tables to ensure great service. He was so kind and conversed with my husband and I for a bit. What a nice place to unwind and enjoy the great steaks! We will definitely be back.“

“Brought my wife for our 34th anniversary. I had the Ultimate shrimp feast, and they delivered ! The best shrimp scampi I've ever had, and the grilled shrimp skewers were delicious & finger licking good. The shrimp fettuccine was good as well. Had myself a "grande" margarita, which was great. My wife had a Bahama Mama & lobster linguini with a salad. She enjoyed her meal. The service was good, but it could have been great. Nothing special was offered even though we informed of our celebration, and server forgot to offer us dessert. Still a good experience. Seems like the prices have gone up, and salad is no longer included as complimentary. That garlic bread is still a nice warming touch. Will definitely visit again.“

“The Greenery is a hidden gem that deserves more recognition. The French Onion soup here is one of the best I've had in El Paso. We also tried the fettuccine alfredo with green chile alfredo sauce and chicken, along with a burger. The food was pretty good overall.“

I asked our wonderful server for the recipe and she graciously gave us the ingredients but not quantities or directions for cooking this dish. I've already tried to copy the recipe but was not nearly as pleased as I was with Puerto Vallarta's version. The fish soup is absolutely wonderful too! I wish we lived closer to El Paso so I could try more of the dishes they offer.“
