“This restaurant is a favorite of mine for Cajun food in Corpus Christ! I have been twice in the last week and am craving the food again this Monday. Ate at my first RAZOO'S in Arlington, Texas 20 years back, and the food is just a good today as then. Also, the service is great! Our server, Alexis U was great and enjoyable to talk too. A great place to EAT!“

“You had some issues tonight. I ordered for pickup and was told to “come on”. Got in line, paid, and was told to park, and they’d bring it out. Text arrived saying it was done. 5....10.....15 minutes later, no food. Went inside and it was sitting there......cold. I don’t like having to reheat shrimp. My last trip was NAILS. Drove up, paid, hot food in my hands, and go!“

“We stayed at the Doubletree from the 6th thru the 11th of Sept. Tim, Samantha, Chris the Cook were the most wonderful staff. They went above & beyond to make our visit top notch. We also had the pleasure to meet Jackie & Michael. They ALL WERE GREAT. They made sure we had everything we needed. The food was so good, we ate there for every meal except twice. “I read the reviews before I went, I was really hungry, with 4 hours to wait on my flight. I asked my server what he recommended, Cagun chicken sandwich and fries. I was quite surprised, service was quick, wasn't busy, the fries were hot and crispy,. The sandwich had tomatoe, onion ,lettuce, lots of spices, The bun was fresh. “Wow! I've never eaten at the Cheesecake Factory and I'm 65 years old. I can only say I'm so glad I found this place. I thought it was mostly cheesecake and maybe a hamburger or a hot dog or something. I had stopped in one in San Antonio and looked at the Cheesecake counter only to find slices with 1300 calories in them. Oh my gosh how did they get that many calories in there! Well tonight I ate in there in Corpus Christi. They have a full light calorie menu from which I ordered lemon and garlic shrimp with angel hair pasta 550 calories. It came with two types of delicious bread and butter. The sauce was divine and there was parsley in little pieces of tomato in it and I'm telling you that's one of the best meals I ever ate. I will definitely be back in there to eat at least that again. The other menu was huge as well . And so varied . Now let me talk about the cheesecake. The piece I had 1100 calories in it. It was Basque cheescake. Had no crust and was brown all over. When I was a kid living in Massachusetts my grandmother would bring home cheesecake occasionally from the Jewish bakery. We called it New York cheesecake. It was delicious and I never forgot it. I have never seen it since until I came to the Cheesecake Factory at the age of 65. I've lived in Arizona Texas Georgia South Carolina Ohio Washington State . I've looked up recipes under New York cheesecake because that's what we called it. Never found the same thing. Then I saw it. It was sitting in the back of the case and it was brown all over. And I thought even though it wasn't as tall as how I remember what my childhood cheesecake was it looked very similar so I got it. I'm happy to report that now I know the name of the cheesecake and can get the recipe online! Or I can just go back to the Cheesecake Factory and get another piece! Although not as tall and not as light The Taste was dead on. It came with blueberries and strawberries and lots of whipped cream. I don't need all of that just the cake is fine. “We were here the week before Labor Day last year, in 2024. It was our 1st time in Corpus Christi and we just happened to see it from the bridge and decided to try it out. The food was delicious, the service was great, and the view was amazing! Out of all the restaurants we tried while we were there, Doc’s had the best food! We fell in love with Corpus Christi and Doc’s is definitely on our to do list the next time we come back!“

Top 2 best bread pudding I’ve ever had (best in corpus, so far!), and that’s because I took it home and snagged a bite (or 3) before I put it in the fridge. I’ve never been disappointed eating here, and the prices are incredibly reasonable! I remember when they were at their old location, and it was just as delicious. Don’t sleep on this place if you want some quality seafood with multiple choices of fish. They even seasoned the perfectly cooked asparagus. The little details show that they care. “Don’t let the outside appearance fool you. Once you walk in, it’s warm and welcoming. More of a small town dive bar with locals enjoying the ambiance. We were greeted and quickly seated. So started off great. Waitress came within 2-3 minutes. Drinks were on the table within 5-6 minutes of us seating. Our waitress Bree, was very personable, attentive and overall great customer service. We got the dates- 10-, the crab cakes were a little dense and could use more flavor -6, lobster and crab nachos -10.. a lil spicy for me but my wife enjoyed them. Give this spot a go.
