“Loved the BadAss Burger!! And the Vegas Fries is a meal in itself! Burger is nicely seasoned with all the trimmings. I love that they don’t overdo the mayo and mustard. (I usually have to scrape some off). They’re generous with pickles, so if pickles aren’t your thing, ask for them on the side. My husband & I split the burger and Vegas Fries and we were satisfied, but not stuffed. BTW - the Vegas Fries were a bonus. When I ordered my burger, I requested “veggies on the side” misread it to say Vegas Fries. So they threw them in for no extra charge. But next time around, they’ll be part of my order!! Like many Bolivar/Crystal Beach eateries, B & Dubs Grub is a food truck with limited outside seating, so call in you order and take it home!“
“Our waitress shay was amazing. When we came in here to eat the kitchen was having issues so shay was very informative on keeping on getting us what we need. When my food came out it was slightly under cooked. Shay made it right and showed very well costumer service. This place is defiantly worth trying.“
“We live in DFW and came to visit. We came across this place. We decided to try it. My husband was wanting catfish but they said they didn't have catfish they had a different type of fish and recommended him try it. We were definitely not disappointed. Both of our sons both also ate it and I ate it and I don't normally eat fish. Super super good. We also got cheese curds all if it was so perfect and good. Will definitely come back when we are in the area!“
“We are old school and don’t have TV in our family beach house. We often to go Hardheads for sporting events. Recently we watched one of the playoff games where the Astros won. We had so much fun! Our waiter was awesome! The food was great and the crowd was so fun. Not to mention the live music and open air dining room. We have been many times and always enjoy the food and the atmosphere! PS: I left my air pods on the table and realized it after they were closed. Went back the next day when they opened. Our waiter was there and had them for me at the hostess stand! He was so polite and invited us back!“
“I really don't understand the 1 star reviews. My experience here was great. The staff is very nice and the food here is fine. If you are looking for donuts, kolaches, and breakfast tacos, this is the perfect spot on the peninsula. I think anyone wanting these items should check out this spot. The 1 star reviews are over dramatic.“
“I ordered the chicken spaghetti dinner which was amazing! It included chicken spaghetti, a really nice salad, garlic bread and very yummy banana pudding. Having dinner delivered to my door after a day on the beach was so nice! I highly recommend using Island Cafe for your catering needs. I will definitely be ordering again, and again!“
