“They made last call at 1:45am I had quietly sat waiting for the bartender to respond to my simple repetitive message one more Dos Equis please. I waited patiently. They did not acknowledge my need as a server and I did receive multiple replies to delay the request. They try to make an insinuation that I have had enough, I leave guilt ridden every time and have usually had one drink before I’m harassed. I’m not someone that ever wants to victimize a senecio. I just wanna drink and be able losses up at a bar.“
“I loved going here it was amazing the food the service the atmosphere it’s one of the best Burger places I miss coming here but my Tia works and had the only car , but anyway best burgers and great sweet teaParking: It has two good size parking lotsKid-friendliness: It has free WiFi and a great kids menu“
“Great as always...but I have to specifically mention how awesome Nicolas was. Of course, every server we've had has been awesome, but Nicolas set himself on a higher level by his outgoing personality and professionalism. But it was athletic basketball abilities that really wowed the crowd. Yes, I said athletic abilities...So one of the many many kids that were "electronically entertained" (I'm not exaggerating...EVERY kid in that place had a phone or tablet captivating their robotic attention)...one of those kids wasn't paying attention and knocked over a syrup bottle. Nicolas caught that out of the corner of his eye, lept over to that table and snatched it just before hitting the ground and making a massive mess. He did this amazing rolling recovery off the floor, popped up and calmly placed it back on the table like nothing even happened!!!! Funny thing was, all of us that were there, saw it and were amazed..extept for one person...you guess who it was? Yep, the kid memorized by his electronic babysitter!! So sad. I digress. If you are looking for GREAT service, and possibly to see more of his athletic skills, ask for Nicolas...you won't be disappointed!!!“
“Wow. Great food. The Athena’s Corner menus was top notch at an affordable price. All of our dishes were fresh, tasted great, and there’s many healthy options… so you don’t feel guilty when it’s time for their home made deserts. We found this restaurant because a local newspaper advertised their award for best business in Seabrook… and it lived up to the hype!“
“I couldn't have asked for a more beautiful birthday lunch for my mom ? We were fortunate enough to have the BEST waitress Tookies has to offer, Ms. Kat!! She was attentive, kind, and treated my mom like she was her mom. When my mom wasn't a fan of the spicy chili, she went back to the kitchen and got the not so spicy one and then made sure it was ok when she brought it back for my mom. The food was SO GOOD! And the drink I got was tasty too. Kat even brought out a little birthday pie for my mom, and it was all decorated It was a beautiful day out, and we enjoyed our food, service, and time there. Thank you, Kat, for being an outstanding waitress!“
“Boy, where do we begin? With the Armadillo Eggs? The Steak skewers? The atmosphere? All of the above. First off, ask for Gary, he is by far, one of the nicest people you will ever meet. The food selection, ask Gary. His knowledge and passion for this place is perfect. Now, onto the food. Start with the Armadillo Eggs. Absolutely won't disappoint. On a spicy scale, 10 being hot, these fall into a 5 or 6. Not too bad. Flavor? Unbelievable. With or without ranch, or even BBQ sauce, these are hands down one of the most unique food pieces we have ever tried. The next was the Tom's Campfire Skewers. They bring a mini hibachi grill, lit table side, and you finish grilling 3 pieces of hand cut, marinated steak that has been flashed to rare, and you can cook it how much more you want (our experience, about 1 more minute each side to almost medium, just north of medium rare). Steak, 9.5 out of 10.The next, we decided to do the 3 meat platter, with a signature potato salad and fried okra for sides. We selected the brisket, turkey and ribs. All, very good. A 8 out of 10 on all 3. Very tender, flavor filled, and moist.Potato salad, and this is hard, was 9.5 out of 10. Everyone's preference will differ, but this is a southern style, with onions and celery, perfect texture l, slightly sweet. Just right. The BBQ sauce? Slap your mamma good. Wish they sold it in a bottle, but they will container it for you to take home for a small fee.Check out all of the artwork, and Guy Fieri's Season 8 episode 2 of this place.Must must try. We traveled a long way from Florida, and we will be back!Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly environment and menu choicesWheelchair accessibility: Easy access all around with ramps also.“
“Can’t say enough good things about this place. Tried almost every appetizer and had multiple entrees- there is not one item we have had that wasn’t absolutely superb. The service is always incredible and even the owners wife has been around to ask our thoughts on the place. It’s an upscale unique seafood restaurant that this area didn’t have till now. It’s a new favorite that is close to home and always going to be great meal. Y’all gotta try this place. Do yourself a huge favor.“
“Love the specials! Wings are large. Burgers are great. Atmosphere is frenetic. It is a great place unwind from a long day. Service is quick. The entertainment is on the small and fit side of the spectrum. Definately a plus. Spinney spinners are the normal, not the exception! Beautiful ladies.“
“Wow. Great food, excellent service & good prices - all under the same roof. Why did I take so long to discover this gem? Andy's crew took good care of us during my first visit. Kudos to Kinley for reviewing the menu & providing several great recommendations! I was very happy with the Spicy Korean Chicken Fried Rice - but I gotta try that Spreggroll next time. Our table also enjoyed the loaded Aioli Fries, the Honey Spinach Tofu Zoodle & one of the yakisobas. All selections were tasty; all portions were generous; all prices were reasonable. Piper & Kinley checked on us regularly to ensure our enjoyment. Don't wait like I did. Highly recommended!!“
“Arguably the best food experience in the greater Houston area. Exciting and delicious! An open mind is all you need! What an amazing evening! Chef and the staff are incredible! Do yourself a favor folks. And it’s even better with friends!“
“We ventured out to Scotty's new location to watch the UH game. We were pleased to have the same great service, inexpensive prices (Saturday happy hour until 8), and delicious food! A reliable dive bar with fantastic food including salads, burgers, and fried fish.“
“This place has absolutely delicious burgers. However, fries and drink do not come with the burger, they are a separate charge. When the burgers are already $10 by themselves, it is a bit expensive. But on the plus side, they have a station where you can put whatever veggies and condiments you want on your burger yourself, so you don't have to worry about them messing up your order. You order, then they give you a buzzer to let you know when your food is ready. We like going here because there are always seats available even when it is super busy, and you can pick wherever you want to sit. For families it is great, because they have larger seating tables available and high chairs. If you have room after eating those massive burgers, their shakes are great as well.“
“Chill atmosphere, service was attentive, food was good and large portion size for the price, the cowboy burger was 1/2 and had some fried onions and jalapeño on top which was a nice addition. They have weekly specials and the gator bites are brined in “
“My sister n law who lives in the area took me to this place in Webster, Texas, right outside of Houston. I love the food. This is a hometown friendly family restaurant. Our server, a young lady named Page, was so sweet, friendly, professional, and on top of everything. What a pleasure it was to have her as our server. Oh, and the carrot cake was to die for oh so good. When I come to visit this area again because I'm from Chicago, I'll definitely go back to this restaurant in the Webster Clear Bay area. Thank you, Page you're awesomePic of my delicious food fried pork chops with various sides all good and my sister in law eating her food“
“Flew in from Colorado, the land of beer. Our friends took us to their favorite brewery. The options of beer were vast, as the food options. Dilly the bartender was quick to get us our first beers, Scottish Ale, fantastic. At our table, Kristin took our order of a variety of food, all of which was great, bringing water for our friends dog, and perfectly attentive to our food and beer requests (the stouts are all epic). Lastly, special thanks to Frank (manager?), who made our visit all the more memorable and welcoming. We'll be flying back 100%. Well done GBB staff, cooks, and brew masters! Can't wait to return!!!“
“We come to this Dennys often. The food is consistently good but the service is hit or miss. This time was a hit! Wanda had us as soon as we walked in the door and she was very attentive, friendly and left us wanting for nothing. We were already Dennys "regulars" but now we are Wanda regulars, as well. ? Ask for Wanda, I promise you won't be disappointed!“
“Go see Genesis she will take great care of you. She is always so pleasant and keeps the beers coming! (Get the Triple Play for starters then the Blackened Fish Tacos! ) - this place is way better than Hooters food and atmosphere wise! Absolutely deserving of the five “
“Had my son's 18th birthday here because of laser tag, and overall, it was ok. It was very pricey. The pizza wasn't all that. I had way better. The sliders were very good, but they didn't give us any condiments. The arcade games were very pricey, and if you have a party, the kids don't keep the tickets, so that was a bummer.“
“This is a nice place for people who love both bland and spicy. The ribs are good and prepared how you want it. The dragon fries live up to their name as your mouth will be burning. Can be a little more pricy than other places though.Kid-friendliness: Standard restraunt. Nothing sexual or demeaning. Do order the blander foods though.“
“Highly recommend!!! The pizza is handmade fresh cooked over an open wood fire stove. Old school on tap Root beer float. It has Outdoor seating as well. If you’re looking for good food and drinks with a good atmosphere/selection of beers/wine. This is a great place with such a nice historical feel. Friends and Family would all enjoy stopping by anytime lunch/brunch/dinnerPro Tip: They have different special on different days. So look at there website and you’ll see the days and Special for that day.Kid-friendliness: Family friendly“
“Food was delicious, I'm glad this place opened late! The cheese fries were very good, I would definitely get them again. I also got the Philly cheesesteak and Fat Cow, both were very filling even though I got half a sandwich. Only thing is it's a little pricey but would still come back to eat here “
“Shelbi & Christian are amazing bartenders. We had a blast!! This is our second time back because of the amazing service. The owner is just as cool as his establishment. Definitely recommend the popper Mac. This place is definitely becoming a regular for us.“
“I visited a few times before adding a review. The best part of Craft 96 is the consistency. The service is consistently fast, friendly and welcoming. The restaurant is consistently clean, including the restrooms. The beer is consistently great with a nice variety of flavors and styles. The food is consistently delicious. Whether it's a salad and a cream ale, a bowl of mac and cheese and a porter or a sandwich and a stout, they have what you want to eat and drink and they'll serve it with a great attitude and a smile and when it arrives it'll be hot and fresh. This is an A+ 5 star spot that I will continue to patronize.“
“Been A lot of places...Have had a bunch of Bacon....BUT never NEVER EVER Have I had Bacon like this!!! Clean establishment!! PERFECT customer service ask for Gary ...Service was on Punto!! Cross Collar Jiu Jitsu we should make this our after party hang out. Back of the house is fasting ticket time.. Again service here is a 10 Thank you“
“This is a little gem, just a block off Marina Bay drive. The food here is great, I usually grab a dozen oysters, then finish off with some Mahi tacos. You'd think that they only have seafood with the name, but they have a vast menu. The meatloaf is as good as any country kitchen, they have an amazing pork chop and great salads. The service is top tier, and Alex is the absolute best waiter around.Vegetarian options: There are options, but very few, mainly side dishes or a saladDietary restrictions: Keto friendly menuParking: There is limited parking out front, but there are side general parking areas, some free, some pay to park options“
“Top-Water is always great. I don’t eat fried food, but there are plenty selections on the menu.I usually get the appetizer of seared tuna and a bowl of corn chowder with crab meat..If you are having a nice day fishing and have some catch, they will cook it up for you any style you want. Just pull up to their private protected cove.I fish offshore and we got a little heavy on the yellowfin tuna and wahoo, so everyone had fresh caught Tuna and Hooter on me.“
“Great local eatery serving delicious breakfast. It really hit the spot on a cool spring break morning after doing some fishing down the street. Service was prompt and attentive too. Highly recommend this local establishment that looks like they've been perfecting their menu for a long time. Pancakes were huge and fluffy with my scrambled eggs to order and thick bacon. My son bragged on their coffee which was actually quite smooth and savory. Awesome value! Keep up the good work Skipper.“
“Old school ice house with a decent burger at a decent price! I don’t expect it to be the Ritz but the service here could be! Nice waitress, cold beer. Toasted buns for the burgers and THE best tater tots! Two burgers, shared tots, beer and a coke for less than $30. Sitting in the open air eating lunch with the hubby is pretty fun at this place!“
“Super cool place we accidentally found while looking for something else. We’ve been back several times since then. Definitely worth a visit if like wine. Great selection and helpful staff. Atmosphere is relaxing with great views outside and creative decor inside. Prices are extremely fair and you get a really good deal if you purchase wine to go. We didn’t have any food so nothing to repost for that.“
“I reserved the Emmitte Room to host a surprise 50th anniversary party for my parents. I live overseas and worked with Doug to plan the party from 8000 miles away without every stepping foot in the restaurant or seeing the Emmitte Room in real life until the day before the event. Doug was so great to work with! He not only executed the party flawlessly, but he helped to ensure that my anxiety was kept at bay. Brandice was the lead server the evening of the party and she was the ultimate professional and added so much value to an already amazing evening! Thank you to Doug, Brandice and the rest of the team for helping me to pull this off. I couldn’t have done it without you all. (The room was stunning and the food was out of this world!)“
“This is the best alternative to a typical american breakfast. Many options also healthy and low calories. Super tasty! Very fresh orange juice as well as good coffee. Staff was friendly and quick, seating was below an air conditioner but it was okay.Vegetarian options: Lots of different veggy optionsWheelchair accessibility: No stairs“
“Pats rib eye is what I always order but this one was not seasoned well. My steak was overcooked (well-done vs Med). Both salads I ordered were NOT included in my order. I returned to get the salads & got a dessert for my trouble. By the time I made it back home, the food was cold. NOT the great experience that I am accustomed to.“
“We love going to Scotty’s on the Bay! Our favorite bartenders are Amber S and Evan! They are always very attentive. We have followed Amber S from other bars that she worked at. She’s so personable always asks those she doesn’t know their names. She’s bubbly and does her best to make sure you are having a good time! She’s also the one who recommended the many different foods and yummy appetizers that are now our favorites. She aims to greet everyone with a smile and your name!“
“What an excellent place to eat! Great food so far! We had the piggy piggy fries and a hangover burger and both were amazing! Clean and nice atmosphere inside and the owner and his wife were so funny and great customer service! Will be eating there a lot!And just when I didn't think it could get better they added new sandwiches called munchie melts and they are amazing!“
“Food is great, service is great, would've rated 5 stars and it should be on every level except the coffee. The coffee is definitely not for me, now on the other hand this place is a 10 out of a 10 for sure! My most favorite breakfast restaurant ever!Kid-friendliness: Great family environment!“
“I saw this place on DoorDash, and noticed it was right down the road from my office. I figured I would just pop in. I am always searching for great burger spots, and this is one of the best! I got the Bleu Cheese bacon burger and it was easily one of the greatest burgers I've ever had in my life. Cooked to perfection, the Sourdough bun, melted cheese, French onions... I could eat another one right now. And the fries were actually crispy (which is saying a lot these days). Do yourself a favor and get the Cajun seasoning on them. Highly recommend! This place is going to be seeing a lot of me from now on.“
“This restaurant always has a light and cheerful atmosphere. Affordable food and drinks. We usually get the Jessica's plate to split. It's enough food and reasonably priced. We also enjoy a couple of peach margaritas WITH EXTRA PEACH. We typically dine for under $30. I have also had the shredded chicken taco salad and several of the shrimp plates. I do not know if smoking is allowed here. I have never seen anyone smoking nor have I smelled smoke other than the sizzling fajitas of course. I am allergic to smoke. Another reason we continue to frequent this establishment. We dine here at least once a week, sometimes twice a week. This place is a regular stop. Look for me. I will probably be there.“
“Great local pub with great local bands, but also pulls in excellent larger touring acts that you'd more expect to play downtown at Warehouse Live or House of Blues: Mr Big, Sons of Apollo, King's X, Sevendust, Tremonti, Ace Frehley... the list goes on!“
“We really enjoyed our first time visit here. The brunch was great. We shared the The Brunch Charcuterie Board with French Toast Bites. Also the Hangover Hamburger, Breakfast Burrito and the Shrimp Alfredo. Excellent service. The Sparkling Wine enhanced the ambiance. Will definitely return to try Tuesday Trivia Night.“
“This was our first time dining at Black Bear Diner and we were very impressed with the inside of the restaurant as well as the food choices. (There are a lot of choices to choose from.) Breakfast is served all day which is a plus for those that don't mind breakfast late in the afternoon or evening. I highly recommend this place for your next meal!“
“Went here with my family this past weekend. I had a great time and the service was amazing. I got the country fried chicken with a baked potato and fried rice. The only problem I had was the fried rice. It was extremely salty. Everything else was delicious though.“
“It's been quite a while since I've been here. Sunday 4/7/24 it was packed outside. I had the bagels and lox (can't remember the last time I saw that in Texas, usually they call it a smoked salmon sandwich).Despite the crowd the service was excellent including bringing out water for my dogs. I'll have to remember to visit more often!“
“The food here is really great. We were here with a very large party and they accommodated. The bar has great options and their cocktails are great. My husband and I both had steak. They were cooked appropriately, but my husband thought the Cajun ribeye had too many tomatoes and not enough spice. I had the ribeye and it was well seasoned and flavorful. His Mac n cheese was really good. We tried several appetizers and I highly recommend the onion straws and rattlers (shrimp inside a jalapeño stuffed with cheese and fried). Dessert portions are huge and yummy. Staff was incredibly friendly and the bathroom was clean.Parking: You can grab a ticket to park across the street and they will validate.“
“Dined in today. Customer Service was excellent. Melissa and all the cleaning staff were excellent. The food was five stars across. I had the pasta, crab asparagus. Everything was five stars across.Parking: Parking was very good. Very clean parking lot and everything was in order outside inside was off the chain very in order.“
“First time at Kelley's. Server was very attentive at this location. Portions HUGE! Craving the good ol home country cooking this place is the spot for you. Quality and price was very good. 10/10 would recommend for family friendly environment.“
“Atmosphere is great, I got a lb. of cold boiled shrimp (it's shrimp only) it had a good spice and flavor (prefer medium sized) wife got the fried fish plate. I would compare the batter and texture to Captain D's (not country style), it also had a good flavor and the fries are kind of like seasoned fries. We also got a couple of canned beverages and a Bushwhacker (it was ok, used to the ones in Fla.). We would definitely go back“
“So Waffle House is a strange place, a super reliable place to get a decent meal pretty quickly. They are pretty small inside with about 5-6 tables and a bar that sits 10-15 people. They still take orders on paper and you pay at the register. They are open 24/7 365 days a year, in fact FEMA has an unofficial disaster scale based on Waffle House’s operational state. If the Waffle House’s in the area are fully open then the disaster isn’t that bad, if they are closed then it’s apocalyptic. The waffles are good, better be at a place called Waffle House. The bowls are big and definitely filling. The breakfast sandwiches are excellent. Definitely come by if you want some Good Food Fast.“
“It’s a nice locally owned, come as you are bar. Places like this are getting harder to find nowadays. When they have music on the back patio and the outside bar open, it’s nice, overlooks the bayou. Lots of wildlife. If you want more action go inside. Usually a local band or DJ and almost always folks dancing. Drink prices are some of the best around“
“It is a very cozy place, the food is excellent as well as the hygiene, you can indicate any change in the menu and they will do everything possible to ensure that you leave satisfied. The prices are good given their category. Keep it up, success.“
“I go to Katie's for the music. I did in on open mic nights and jam. They almost always have to notch local and regional band. The food is primarily bar pizza but it's not too bad. They just started having steak night on Wednesday's. Definitely worth going for steaks cooked to order by my friend Denby. You get Angus steak, potatoe, side and salad for $25. My wife and I can split 1 and it's plenty. The bar and wait staff are the best. Drinks are reasonably priced and consistent.“
