“This is definitely an atmosphere. Mood lighting, ambiance, and nice views for window seats. There is plenty of seating and friendly staff. Most people were dressed business casual.Great for lunch, business lunch/dinner, happy hour, dates, after work meet-up, dinner meet-up, and dine in alone. Nice bar area.Unique menu options, appropriate portions, and tasty dishes. Crab nachos are my favorite.Bathrooms are clean. Most seating is comfortable. There is a gorgeous space to rent for private parties or work parties. Downtown parking in nearby garages or metered with 2hr max. If there is a wait, the eyeball park is next door.My go-tos are crab nachos and pick 2/3 smart bowls.“
“Delicious asian street dishes in a lively, swanky environment reminiscent of asiatown nightlife. Loved the attention to detail with the decor and the fun neon lights. Our server Victoria was very friendly and walked us through the menu. Everything we tried was so tasty, especially the roti, korean twice fried wings, and the yaki udon. Bag of donuts was a perfect end to our meal and was unlike any other dessert donut I’ve had. Fun cocktails too; tiger’s tail was my favorite! Spice level could have been higher all around, but my entire party is asian so we can definitely handle our heat. Great place for casual eats and family style dining.Wheelchair accessibility: Spacious, wheelchair-accessible bathroom in the back.“
“The restaurant is very beautiful. Very pleasing to the eye. My friend and I went during happy hour and we both got the Classic cheeseburger with fries. $8 for a 1/4 wagyu beef burger is well worth it as it was absolutely delicious. I also had the margarita and it was also delicious. Highly recommended coming here during happy hour as it's reasonably-priced and filling.“
“I hope this gem gets the recognition it deserves!! This is a family owned business, not a chain so don’t expect your food to come out strikingly fast. While you’re waiting- you’ll get free pita bread that I recommend enjoying with the spicy hummus (to die for)! The tabouli salad is the best I’ve ever had. Grilled tomatoes were fresh and beef tenderloin was as juicy as promised! Everyone is soooo friendly and makes you feel right at home. I loved sitting in the patio area but inside is just as welcoming! You won’t regret giving this place a try.Dietary restrictions: Options for all! Mediterranean food is the best.“
“Only reason service got 4 stars is a couple of the cashiers are unfriendly. The rest of them are cool and polite. Security is way cool. Big Man is always looking out for not just the store but for customers as well. Very much appreciated. A little pricey but hey it's 2024. Prices on everything are rising.“
“My wife and I have been loyal patrons of Café Madrid for over two years, and it's high time we shared our love for this gem of a place. From the moment you step in, you're greeted with warmth and a friendliness that instantly makes you feel at home. The staff here aren't just attentive; they go above and beyond to ensure your dining experience is nothing short of perfect. The culinary journey at Café Madrid is a delight to the senses. Each dish we've tried has been a masterpiece of flavors, showcasing the best of what the town has to offer. But it's not just the food that keeps us coming back—it's the wine. Their selection is simply phenomenal, a testament to the care and passion that goes into every aspect of this establishment. Café Madrid is more than just a café; it's a celebration of fine dining and exquisite tastes, a place that has earned a special place in our hearts. Here's to many more years of unforgettable meals and cherished memories at Café Madrid.“
“We came came here for lunch today for the first time, and enjoyed the $9 ramen weekday lunch special immensely. It was warm and humid outside, and inside it was delightfully cool, and half full (Wednesday between 12:30 and 1).Both ramens were delish in their own unique ways:I had the veggie ramen, and it was packed with bok choy, shrooms, bamboo sprouts, and corn. The broth was w mellow rich mushroom, and the "vegan noodles" (not sure how they differ from the stock noodle) were just the right amount of toothsome, perfectly cooked and served. If you feel like amping up the volume a bit, add some soy (I did) or chili oil/powder, available if you ask for either/both.Jamie had the spicy miso, and the heat heat pushed the envelope of her comfort zone (just right for my palate). It had ground pork, a lightly poached egg, and some bamboo shoots in it, served in a milky hued broth amped up with chili oil. This place is a neighborhood gem, and we will return often going forward.“
“One of my absolute favorite places, and one of the few good tapas places in the DFW area. The service is always fantastic and the food never fails to impress. They have a great outdoor patio that's perfect for an afternoon of drinking and eating. I'd highly recommend Barcelona.Parking: Parking can be tricky but they have a valet and you can park many places on the street for free if you're ok walking a bit.Kid-friendliness: They allow kids even though it doesn't seem like it.“
“My friend and I wandered in for a late meal after a full day of exploring the city and enjoying the Deep Ellum art fair we were lucky enough to coincide with, completely unaware we were embarking upon an unforgettable evening of incredible food and impeccable service. My companion enjoyed various a la carte selections, whereas I decided to trust the menu and ordered the Hungry tier set menu. The first bite was insane - the king salmon hand roll changed my life forever. The spicy tuna was equally delightful. There wasn’t a bad bite. Everything on the menu is thoughtfully composed, and the chefs are artists. I loved watching them take their time to craft precise bites. Our host for the evening was Jonathan, who achieved immortality in our hearts with his easy grace and hospitality. We were treated with such kindness, interest, and care. This place is perfection for one or two people looking to have a delightful, easeful experience. The strawberry crepe cake was a lovely light sweet ending for a lovely light sweet experience. If I’m ever in Dallas again, I will make a point of stopping in for another joyous evening.“
“Wow.. this is a very unique ramen spot that specializes in Dashi/clear soup. It's very hearty and delicious without the feeling of heaviness after. We tried the Hinodeya Special Ramen (comes with bed of littleneck clams) and it was so fresh tasting. Service was very accommodating and attentive. We came out very impressed.“
“Sitting in the loft lobby with the art deco design on the walls the bar is a nice place to hang out and have a drink and even some wings or flatbread pizza it was really enjoying and relaxing hanging out with friends with close access to the hotel lobby“
“We stopped in for a quick drink. The bartender was very friendly and made excellent drinks! We highly enjoyed the fresh pepper in the Spicy Guava Margarita. The La Mera Pera is truly a smoky and savory drink with a super delightful vanilla honey foam.“
“I went here for my birthday celebration. The food was delicious, the drinks were equally balanced with alcohol and flavor. The staff was very hospitable and the service was great. I can't recall wanting or waiting an unreasonable time for anything.“
“I had an amazing experience here. We had a large party coming in a friday night and even though they dont take reservations they took the time to communicate with me to make it work. Also, hands down the best vegan ramen ive ever had. Service was prompt and professional and the vibe was on point. Ill be a future frequent customer for sure :)“
“Amazing atmosphere especially for Valentine's Day, I am new to the area and saw they had a Pop Up for Galentine's Day. Of course the beste and I had to check it out. The drinks were on point, I will say if you don't mind walking a block there is parking lot near a hamburger stand and you can just walk down the street to Leela's.“
“I got the Impossible Bun to start and the Spicy Creamy Vegan Ramen. Both were DELICIOUS!! So flavorful. My husband is a picky eater who's so-so about ramen and even he was impressed with the spicy creamy (with the chili oil on the side as he is less heat tolerant). Jinya also has a nice ambience and good service. My only note is that I wish their staff were more knowledgeable about the vegan options, or that "vegan" was on the key. Their special starter was caramelized cauliflower, which sounded amazing, and when I asked the waiter said it was vegan so I ordered it-but then she came back and said it wasn't, only vegetarian, but she couldn't say what made it not vegan. It's strange that a place that goes so far as to have vegan mayo apparently doesn't have any vegan vegetable options. But-a small complaint when what they do have is SO good!“
“This place was amazing! Came for the first time during happy hour and had Karina for our server, she gave us a great experience! My favorites were the chinese bbq bao buns and the yaki udon noodles, but everything we ordered was great. Will definitely be back!“
