“The food is good and very delicious. Friendly staff and its clean as well. I can't believe I'm eating fresh cooked beans. I thought the first time i came here to was a fluke for fresh beans, but since I've been coming here, I've been having my lunches and some dinners here. Not bad at all.“

“When it comes to the food, El Valle offers a variety of Mexican dishes, including tacos, enchiladas, burritos, fajitas, and more. The portions are generous, and the presentation of the food is visually appealing. The flavors are bold and authentic, with just the right amount of spice. The service at El Valle is excellent. The staff is friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. They are quick to take orders, and the food is served promptly. Additionally, the prices are reasonable, making it a great value for the quality of the food and service.Overall, I highly recommend El Valle for anyone looking for delicious Mexican cuisine in San Antonio. “I've been eating here since 1992. Love the family who owns it. Great family atmosphere. Excellent service and prices. Large portions. Mexican food, chicken fried steak, burgers... each is just as great as the next! Wait time for food is minimal!“
“My table server was the owner herself! Such an honor to meet her. She is like a leader and server, not just a boss.A small, very cozy, clean, and hospitable restaurant. This is one of several I'm visiting nearest home to try out their Huevos Rancheros, for my ultimate favorite choice one day. The place was filled with people for breakfast in spite of road construction. One thing I noticed about these Mexican restaurants -- they are generous enough to allow outside Mexican sweets private sellers to head in and sell their specialties. Such amazing friendly personally from these places. This place was one of them. They did my over-medium eggs perfectly. Love it. I also love how my potatoes were diced smaller. I always taste the refried beans before I mix up everything. Theirs was tasty.Wait staff was hospitable and helpful. They went around offering free coffee refills all the time.I like this place. It's one of my candidates for my Huevos Rancheros spots.“

“I had soft beef taco plate. Beans and rice, barely warm, was there at 12:30, lunch time. Shouldn't the food be all hot? If sitting there on stove, at least stir them and serve the hot portions from the bottom that may be hot. Tacos were ok. No sauce on top.“

“Stopped in here on our way from the coast to Austin. Loved it! Salsa was a bit different but delicious and the chips were crispy and fresh. Nachos were perfect - right amount of beans and cheese and a nice bowl of jalapeños. Puffy tacos and enchiladas were good (puffy tacos being the favorite). Finished with a sweet empanada. Restaurant was clean and very family oriented, restrooms were clean and well-stocked, and our server was fast and delightful. We'll stop again next beach trip.“
