They kept asking for the name of the supplier as they wanted to order meals for their families! Todd, Ms. Judy, and their team were easy to work with and a pleasure to talk to. The food arrived a few minutes early which allowed us time to be ready for our employees. All of the food items were prepared fresh, were correctly seasoned, and delicious. We will definitely be ordering from Chopin Mon Ami often in the future.“
“Came here for coffee to go as we were staying down the street. I couldn't leave without some of the breakfast menu items because they were too tempting to pass up. The decor and energy/friendliness of the staff made me wish we had come in to sit and stay! Will have to come back for a full meal on this trip!“
“Coastal Catering catered my husband and my Galveston wedding this past weekend, and the dinner was many people's favorite part of the evening!!! Chef Marshall is an easy going and personable chef. For our passed horderves we had deviled eggs, Texas kisses and the filled parmesan spoons - I was able to sample every one and loved them all. For our dinner, we had two double sided buffet lines which helped every one get their food in record time - great idea on behalf of the Chef! For dinner we served: the classic caesar salad, citrus baked salmon, flame grilled chicken breast with mango salsa, garlic smashed potatoes, Luby's mac and cheese and haricot verts almandine. We loved it all and would recommend Coastal Catering to anyone who cares for good food and good service! Thank you again Chef Marshall for making our big day so special!!!“
“Sometimes when you know your going to a wedding your not sure about the food.....well let me explain Chef Mary Bass is not your normal boring Caterer. She brings flavors beyond expectations to your event. When I walked in to friends wedding dinner and saw her I was so excited my mouth started watering with anticipation.Lucky for us they started with a New Year's tradition Black Eye Peas "Good Luck Bruschetta". While the bar opened, Chef Mary had her staff pass out appetizers of Chimichurri Chicken, Brisket Deviled Eggs, and Whipped Goat Cheese with Bacon/Date Tapenade. I'm normally not a fan of goat cheese but such a treat to taste and enjoy.The buffet was not to be missed with Beef Tenderloin, Blackened Chicken w/Cajun Cream Sauce, roasted vegetables, garlic herb mashed potatoes, Grandma Mary's Mac & Cheese and Chef Mary Bass Famous Good Dough Rolls.To those upcoming events in the Galveston, Texas area with any upcoming events for friends or colleagues I would encourage you to reach out to Chef Mary to see what what her kitchen can bring to your table.“
“I love Chef Mary's cooking! My boss ordered a Pecan praline king cake from her during Mardi Gras and it was so divine! And I keep on forgetting she has this cute little store on 39th Street where you can pick up prepared foods to go. She also has baked goods and knick knack gifts to choose from.When I walked in today, I was immediately greeted by the friendly lady in the counter. There was TONS of ready made food to choose from- I wanted it all lol! But I narrowed it down to tomato basil soup, basil pesto salad and pastalaya.Everything was so delicious- made with so much love! I also saw a pardi Gras king cake kolache and had to get one even though Mardi Gras is over lol! Check 'em out when you're in the area- you won't regret it!“
“Elaine and her entire staff were just beyond amazing. I showed up the day of, and didn’t have to worry about anything. Venmo’s handled my event rentals, food, and staff (servers, bartenders, and bussers). Everyone was dressed to the nines and 100% professional.Last but not least...the food. The food!! The BBQ was so good. We really wanted our favorite BBQ spot to cater and had a lot of issues. Elaine asked for the opportunity to let us taste their BBQ, and I’m so glad we did. Tip: If you order BBQ from them, you MUST get the banana pudding!We used Benno’s for event rental/catering, Island Flowers for flowers, and Cakes by Jula for our cakes. These vendors have worked together for years and the perfection they provide is evidence of their long standing professional relationship.“
“We had the strawberry, pecan butter and s’mores ice cream. They all taste really good and are not too sweet, very delicious ice cream. The customer service here is very good, the employee there was very friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend this place!“
“Schlotzkey's is a phenomenal deli chain serving a variety of sandwiches and pizzas. I've been going to this chain for decades, but this store only years ago, and this is a great store for quick and good service. Just remember that a large sandwich is not just large but truly massive, and the workers will remind you of that. A medium sandwich is what most would normally expect. “Food's great. I appreciate how easy it is to order from their website or even just call in to order. They are great at making sure the burgers are cooked how we ask for them. Can't wait to try the shrimp burger again! We remember them from a few years ago and I'm sure they are even better now. We will definitely continue to order lunch/dinner from here.“
