“I found the Andice general store from a recommendation from a friend in the Georgetown Texas area. I was told that this was a great place to get a great burger. That was an excellent recommendation.

This little store in a tiny Hamlet is actually a wonderful burger stand. When I walked in, the really kind staff was helpful and gave me good advice on what to order. The store has a wooden picnic tabless inside and out for sitting at.

The food was served quickly and served hot. I got a bacon cheeseburger and fries. It was great! The prices were reasonable, and the staff was friendly. The little store was well stocked with soda and beer of old American brands. The menu included several burger options, fries, onion rings, and some tacos.

I am so glad I found this little gem and that my friends recommended it. I will be back!“

“Never been to Texas and I visited with my family recently and had a young lady as my server named Alyx. She went absolutely above and beyond even though my husband was being extremely picky and the kids were were being loud. She made our experience memorable and I really hope to have her again when we visit. I will definitely be requesting her!“

“First time visiting & will now be our go-to burger spot in town! Relaxed family-friendly pub atmosphere. We went for lunch on a Saturday & service was great!

Appetizers ordered: Bavarian pretzels w/ beer cheese and fried cheese curds, both excellent!
Entrees: Armadillo Burger, French Dip Burger, Kids Pony Burger, & Fries. The burgers were quality meat and cooked perfectly. Fries great & have delicious ranch and beer cheese!

Was too full for dessert, but the cheesecake chimichanga sounds amazing.

Food prices are comparable to the rest of the area. 32 varieties of beer, cider, and wine on tap. Good TX country playing, but not overly loud. Order at bar & deliver to table service. They also support non-profits & have a horse rescue, hence the name :)“

“I've been sad to watch Dairy Queen gradually slide into irrelevance, but the new Mayfield Dairy Queen locations have given me hope: newer, cleaner, nicely decorated, with consistently great personnel and service. Mayfield DQs are now my go-to ice cream shops.

Parking: Small parking lot, but always enough spaces. Careful which space you choose, so you don't get blocked in by a long drive-in line“

“This was my 2nd time eating at Five Guys. The first time was years ago in a totally different city. But as far as this particular location (Georgetown) I will say the customer service was stellar. My order was shy of $20 and that was just for a plain and dry Grilled cheese with a patty and a large Cajun fry. Don't judge me, I'm really plain and simple when it comes to burgers. I honestly hated the fries and threw them into the disposal. They did give me a lot of fries and I mean alot. I got what I paid for with the fries. The fries were overly seasoned and a tad bit spicy. I just couldn't find a liking to them. The burger was good but not worth the amount that I paid. The burger was about the size of a McDonald's cheeseburger. I will not ever eat at another Five Guys again simply because I can make my own food (I was just being lazy today) or I can go elsewhere and get the full benefit of the amount I paid. Again, the customer service was good and everyone seemed nice. The manger was doing an interview I believe when I was there but he took time to acknowledge my presence. Oh, the restaurant was pretty clean. I did end up waiting about 5 mins for my order since they were waiting on the fries to be completed. I had placed this order to go via online, so I'm glad I didn't wait long at all.“

But give credit when credit's due.
The last 8 visits have been 180degs from previous visits!
Hamburgers are served hot, fries are hot and fresh, service and wait times have improved 110%.
I truly hope this turnaround is staying.

“I live much closer to the other Georgetown location but always come to this one. The service is better. It's not a nightmare to get in and out of like the other location. My order has been pretty consistently correct. And most importantly, I generally get fries that are actually warm.“

“Lately, orders have been incorrect and food is luke warm at best. Today the app didn't give me my discount and the gal said I had to contact corporate because they could not refund it there. Then on top of all that, my burgers were made incorrectly and not even close to hot.“
